< John 10 >

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you: —He that entereth not, through the door, into the fold of the sheep, but goeth up from another place, that man, is, a thief, and, a robber.
Kyang'haani nikuvavuula, umuunhu juno ikwingila muluvagha lwa ng'holo kisila kukilila pa mulyango, neke ikilila pavunge, ujuo mhiji kange mhijim'budi.
2 But, he that entereth through the door, is, shepherd, of the sheep:
Looli juno ikilila pa mulyango, ujuo ghwe ndiimi ghwa ng'holo.
3 To him, the porter openeth, and, the sheep, unto his voice, hearken: and, his own sheep, he calleth by name, and leadeth them forth.
Umuloleleli ghwa luvagha ikun'dindulila umulyango, nasi ng'holo sipulika ilisio ilya n'diimi ujuo. Ghwope ikusikemeela ing'holo saake nijingi nilitavua lyake na kukusihumia kunji.
4 As soon as, all his own, he hath put forth, before them, he moveth on, and, the sheep, follow him, because they know his voice;
Kyande asihumisie ing'holo saake sooni, umwene ilongola, iseene sikum'bingilila, ulwakuva silikagwile ilisio lyake.
5 But, a stranger, will they in nowise follow, but will flee from him, because they know not the voice, of strangers.
Ing'holo nasingam'bingilile umuunhu umhesia, ulwene sikunkimbila ulwakuva nasilimanyile ilisio lyake.”
6 This similitude, spake Jesus unto them; but, those men, understood not what the things were which he was speaking unto them.
UYesu alyavavulile aveene ikihwanikisio iki, neke aveene navalyasitanghinie sino ikuvavuula.
7 Jesus, therefore, said, again—Verily, verily, I say unto you: —I, am the door of the sheep:
Pe u Yesu akavavuula kange akati. Kyang'haani nikuvavuula, une nene mulyango ghwa luvagha pano sikwingilila ing'holo.
8 All, as many as came before me, are thieves, and, robbers: but the sheep hearkened nor unto them.
Avaanhu vooni vano valyatalile kulyune kuuva vadiimi va ng'holo, valyale vahiji kange vahiijivabudi, nasing'holo nasikavapulikagha.
9 I, am the door: through me, if anyone enter, he shall be saved, and shall come in and go out, and, pasture, shall find.
Une neene mulyango, umuunhu juno ikwingila kukilila une ipokua. Kukilila une ikwingilagha na kuhuma na kuuva ni kyakulia.
10 The thief, cometh not, save that he may thieve and slay and destroy: I, came, that, life, they might have, and, above measure, might have.
Umhiiji ikwisa nu vufumbue vwa kuhija, kubuda na kunangania. Une nisile kuuti avaanhu vave nu vwumi, vave navwo ifighono fyoni.
11 I, am the good shepherd: The good shepherd, his life, layeth down, for the sheep.
Une nili ndiimi nnofu. Undiimi unnofu, anoghile kufua vwimila ing'holo saake.
12 The hireling, even because he is no shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, vieweth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth, —and, the wolf, seizeth them and scattereth, —
Umuunhu juno idiima ing'holo vwimila uluhombo, ujuo na ndiimi ghwa ng'holo, kange ing'holo nasaake, angavone ing'hekeeva jikwisa, ikimbila na kukusileka ing'holo seene. Pe ing'hekeeva jikwalukila ing'holo na kupalanisia.
13 Because, a hireling, he is, and hath no care for the sheep.
Umuunhu ujuo ikimbila ulwakuva uvufumbue vwake lwe luhombo, ing'holo na kiinu kwa mwene.
14 I, am the good shepherd, and know my own, and, my own, know me, —
Une nili n'diimi nnofu. Ing'holo sango nisikagwile, soope sing'hagwile.
15 Just as, the Father, knoweth me, and, I, know, the Father; and, my life, I lay down for the sheep.
n'davule uNhaata vule ang'hagwile une, na juune vule ninkagwile umwene. Une nitavula uvwumi vwanga vwimila ing'holo.
16 And, other sheep, have I, which are not of this fold: those also, I must needs bring, and, unto my voice, will they hearken, and there shall come to be, One flock, One shepherd.
Nili ni ng'holo isingi sino nasili muluvagha ulu. Soope isio nilonda kukusileeta, soope sikumhulikagha. Apuo kiiva kipugha kimo, nu ndiimi jumo.
17 Therefore, doth the Father, love, me, because, I, lay down my life, that, again, I may receive it: —
Ulu, fyenambe uNhaata anganile: Nitavwile kufua, neke niiva mwumi kange.
18 No one, forced it from me, but, I, lay it down, of myself, —Authority, have I, to lay it down, and, authority, have I, again, to receive it: This commandment, received I, from my Father.
Nakwale umuunhu juno ndepoonu ivusia uvwumi vwango, looli une nitavwile june kufua. Une nilinuvutavulilua uvwa kuvusia uvwumi vwango, kange nili nu vutavulilua uvwa kuvugomosia. Nuupile ululaghilo ulu kuhuma kwa Nhaata.”
19 A division, again, took place among the Jews, because of these words.
Amasio aghuo ghakapelela aVayahudi kulekeng'hana.
20 But many from among them were saying—A demon, he hath, and is raving, —Why, unto him, do ye hearken?
Vinga mu veene vakati, “Uju ali ni lipepo, kange apelwike. Lwakiki kukumpulikisia?”
21 Others, said—These sayings, are not those of one demonized, —Can, a demon, open the eyes of, the blind?
Avange vakava viiti, “Amasio aghuo naghihuma mwa muunhu unya lipepo. Asi, ilipepo ndepoonu likumpelela um'bofu amaaso kulola?”
22 The feast of dedication took place at that time, in Jerusalem: it was, winter,
Pe ghukafika unsiki ughwa kikulukulu ikya kwimika ku Yelusalemu.
23 and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the porch of Solomon.
Pe pano aVayahudi vamonga Unsiki ughuo ghulyale ghwa mhepo, uYesu alyale mu nyumba inyimike ija kufunyila, ighenda ghenda mu luviika luno lukatambulwagha, “Luviika lwa Solomoni.”
24 The Jews, therefore, surrounded him, and were saying unto him—How long, holdest thou, our lives, in suspense? If, thou, art the Christ, tell us, plainly.
Pe pano aVayahudi vamonga vakankong'hanila, vakam'buula vakati, “Ghukutuviika mu nganighani mpaka liighi? Nave veeve Kilisite tuvuule pa vuvalafu!”
25 Jesus answered them—I told you, and ye believe not: The works which, I, am doing in the name of my Father, the same, bear witness concerning me.
UYesu akavamula akati, “Une nivavulile kuuti neene veeni, neke umue namukwitika. Sino nivomba mu litavua lya Nhaata, sihufia kuuti neene veeni.
26 But, ye, believe not, because ye are not of my sheep.
Neke umue namukwitika ulwakuva namuli ng'holo sango.
27 My sheep, unto my voice, hearken, —and, I, know, them, and they follow me, —
Ing'holo sango sipulika ilisio lyango, na juune nisikagwile, soope sikumbingilila.
28 And, I, give unto them life age-abiding, and in nowise shall they perish, unto times age-abiding; and no one shall carry them off out of my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
Nisipeliile uvwumi uvwa kuvusila kusila, nasilasova lusiku. Kange nakwale umuunhu ughwa kusivusia mumavoko ghango. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 What, my Father, hath given me, is, something greater than all, and, no one, can carry off out of the hand of my Father: —
UNhaata ghwango juno amheliile ing'holo isio, m'baha kukila vooni, kange nakwale umuunhu juno ndepoonu ikusivusia mu mavoko ghaake.
30 I and the Father, are, one.
Une nu Nhaata tuli vumo.”
31 The Jews again lifted up stones, that they might stone him.
Ye vapuliike isio, vakahola kange amavue kuuti vantove.
32 Jesus answered them—Many works, have I showed you, noble ones, from my Father: For which of those works are ye stoning me?
Neke uYesu akavavuula akati, “Nivombile imbombo nyinga inofu pamaaso ghiinu. Imbombo isio nivombile ku ngufu sa Nhaata. Lino, mu sino nivombile, lukilu luno lukuvapelela kukunhova na mavue?”
33 The Jews answered him—Concerning a noble work, are we not stoning thee; but concerning profane speech, —and because, thou, being, a man, art making thyself, God.
AVayahudi vakamwamula bakati, “Natulonda kukukutova na mavue vwimila imbombo inofu sino uvombile, ulwene tukukutova ulwakuva ghukumuligha uNguluve. Ghukuviika uli Nguluve napano uli muunhu ndavule avaanhu avange!”
34 Jesus answered them—Is it not written in your law: I, said, Ye are, gods?
UYesu akavamula akati, “Nalilembilue mufitabu fiinu ifya ndaghilo kuuti, 'Umue muli manguluve”'?”
35 If, those, he called gods, unto whom, the word of God, came—and the Scripture cannot be broken—
Nave alyavatambwile manguluve, avaanu vano valyapuliike ilisio lyake (kange aMalembe aMimike ifighono fyoni ghijova isa kyang'haani),
36 Of him whom, the Father, hallowed and sent forth into the world, are, ye, saying—Thou speakest profanely, because I said, Son of God, I am?
lino mujova kwa juno uNhaata alyantavwile akansung'ha mu iisi mwiti, 'nikumaligha u Nguluve,' pano niiti 'Une nili Mwana ghwa Nguluve'?
37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, do not believe in me;
Nave nanivomba imbombo isa Nhaata, namunganyiti kange.
38 But, if I am doing them, even though, in me, ye believe not, in the works, believe, —that ye may get to know and go on to know, that the Father is, in me, and, I, am, in the Father.
Neke nave nivomba, nambe namukunyitika, mwitikaghe vwimila imbombo isio neke mukagule na kukulutanghania kuuti uNhaata ali mulyune, najuune nili mwa Nhaata.”
39 They were [therefore] again seeking to take him; and he went forth out of their hand.
Neke vakava vilonda pikunkola kange, neke uYesu akavatyegha.
40 And he went away again, beyond the Jordan, unto the place where John was at the first, immersing; and he abode there.
U Yesu akaluta kange imwambo ija ikya Yolidani, pano uYohani alyale ikwofugha avaanhu, akava ukuo ifighono fidebe.
41 And, many, came unto him, and were saying—John, indeed, did not so much as, one sign; but, all things, whatsoever John said concerning this one, were, true.
Ye ali kula, avaanhu vinga vakaluta kwa mwene viiti, “UYohani naalyavombile nambe ikivalilo kimo, neke imhola sooni sino alyajovile vwimila umuunhu uju, sa kyang'haani.
42 And, many, believed on him there.
Ukuo avaanhu vinga vakamwitika uYesu.
