< John 1 >

1 Originally, was, the Word, and, the Word, was, with God; and, the Word, was, God.
Va thonono, Diambu dikibela, Diambu diba va kimosi ayi Nzambi ayi Diambu diawu Nzambi.
2 The same, was originally, with God.
Diambu diba va thonono va kimosi ayi Nzambi.
3 All things, through him, came into existence, and, without him, came into existence, not even one thing: that which hath come into existence,
Bima bioso bivangimina mu diawu, kuisi ko kima kikambu vangu mu kambu diawu mu bibioso bikivangulu.
4 in him, was, life, and, the life, was, the light of men.—
Mu diawu muba Luzingu. Luzingu beni luba kiezila ki batu.
5 And, the light, in the darkness, shineth; and, the darkness, thereof, laid not hold.
Kiezila kilembo kienzuka mu tombi vayi tombi kisia kisudika ko.
6 There arose a man, sent from God, whose name was, John:
Vaba Mutu wumosi wutumu kuidi Nzambi, dizina diandi Yowani.
7 The same, came, for a witness, That he might bear witness, concerning the light, that, all, might believe, through him.
Wuyiza mu telama kimbangi; mu telama kimbangi mu diambu di kiezila muingi batu boso bawilukila mu niandi.
8 He, was not the light, —but, that he might bear witness concerning the light,
Niandi veka kasia ba kiezila ko, vayi, niandi wuyiza kaka mu telama kimbangi mu diambu di kiezila.
9 It, was—The real light that enlighteneth every man—Coming into the world.
Kiezila ki kiedika kiawu kioki kiyiza va ntoto, kioki kieti kienzulanga batu boso.
10 In the world, he was, and, the world, through him, came into existence, and, the world, knew him not.
Niandi diambu diyiza va ntoto ayi ntoto wuvangu mu niandi vayi ntoto wusia kunzaba ko.
11 Into his own possessions, he came, and, his own people, received him not home.
Niandi wuyiza ku tsiꞌandi vayi basi tsiꞌandi basia kuntambula ko.
12 But, as many as did receive him, he gave, unto them, authority, children of God, to become, —unto them who were believing on his name:
Vayi kuidi batu boso bantambula, niandi wuba vana lulendo lukitukila bana ba Nzambi; bobo bawilukila mu dizina diandi.
13 Who—not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but—of God, were born.
Bika sia ti bana beni mu menga voti mu luzolo lu nsuni babutukila, voti mu luzolo lu mutu vayi babutu mu luzolo lu Nzambi.
14 And, the Word, became, flesh, and pitched his tent among us, and we gazed upon his glory, —a glory, as an Only-begotten from his Father. Full of favour and truth.
Diambu dikituka nsuni ayi diyiza zinga va khatitsikꞌeto. Beto tumona nkembo andi; banga nkembo wu Muana wumosi kaka wowo wuba kuidi Tata. Nkembo beni wuba wuwala mu nlemvo ayi mu kiedika.
15 (John beareth witness concerning him, and hath cried aloud, saying—the same, was he that said—He who, after me, was coming, before me, hath advanced; because, my Chief, was he.)
Yowani wuntelimina kimbangi bu katuba mu yamikina: —Talanu mutu wawu, niandi ndiyolukila mu thangu ndilukamba: mutu wowo wunkuiza ku manima mama wundutidi munneni, bila niandi wutuama kukibela ayi minu.
16 Because, out of his fulness, we all, received, even favour over against favour.
Mu diambu di fuluka ku nlemvo andi, beto boso tutambula lusakumunu va mbata lusakumunu.
17 Because, the law, through Moses, was given, favour and truth, through Jesus Christ, came into existence.
Bila Moyize niandi wuvana Mina vayi Yesu Klisto niandi wunata nlemvo ayi kiedika.
18 No one, hath seen, God, at any time: An Only Begotten God, The One existing within the bosom of the Father, He, hath interpreted [him].
Kadi mutu kamuenieti Nzambi ko vayi Muanꞌandi wumosi kaka widi va ndambu yi Tata, niandi wunzabikisidi.
19 And, this, is the witness of John, when the Jews sent forth unto him, out of Jerusalem, priests and Levites, —that they might question him—Who art, thou?
Vava vadi kimbangi ki Yowani mu thangu Bayuda baba ku Yelusalemi bafidisa zinganga Nzambi ayi Balevi muingi banyuvula: “ngeyo widi nani e?”
20 and he confessed, and did not deny, —and he confessed—I, am not, the Christ;
Buna wuba kamba kiedika mu kambu memata: —Minu ndisi ama Klisto ko.
21 and they questioned him—What then? Art, thou, Elijah? and he saith—I am not; The prophet, art, thou? and he answered—No!
Babuela kunyuvula: —Vayi buna widi nani e? Widi Eli? Wuba vutudila: —Ndisi ama Eli ko! Bawu babuela kunyuvula: —Widi mbikudi e? Wuba vutudila: —Nana.
22 So they said unto him—Who, art thou? that, an answer, we may give, unto them who sent us, —What sayest thou, concerning thyself?
Buna babuela kunyuvula diaka: —Vayi widi nani e? Wutukamba muingi tubaka buvanina mvutu kuidi bobo batutumini. Mbi wuntuba mu diambu di ngeyo veka e?
23 He said—I, am a Voice, of one crying aloud; —In the desert, make ye straight, the way of the Lord: according as said Isaiah the prophet.
Buna wuba kamba: —Minu ndidi mbembo yi mutu wowo wulembo yamikina mu dikanga: luludika nzila yi Pfumu banga bu bikudila mbikudi Ezayi.
24 And they had been sent forth from among the Pharisees;
Batu Bobo bafidusu baba mu dikabu di Bafalisi;
25 and they questioned him, and said unto him—Why, then, dost thou immerse, —if, thou, art not, the Christ, nor Elijah, nor, the Prophet?
banyuvula: —Enati wisi Klisto ko voti Eli ko, voti mbikudi ko vayi buna bila mbi wulembo botikila e?
26 John answered them, saying—I, immerse, in water. In the midst of you, standeth one, whom, ye, know not; —
Yowani wuba vutudila: —Minu ndilembo lubotikila mu nlangu, vayi va khatitsikꞌeno vadi mutu wumosi wulukambulu zaba,
27 after me, coming: —Of whom, I, am not worthy that I should unloose the thong of the sandal.
mutu wowo wunkuiza ku manima mama, ndisi fuana ko mu nianguna minsinga mi zisapatu ziandi.
28 These things, in Bethany, came to pass, beyond the Jordan, where John was, immersing.
Mambu mama ku Betani maviokila, buala buidi va disimu di nzadi Yolidani, kuna Yowani kaba botikilanga batu.
29 On the morrow, he beholdeth Jesus, coming unto him, and saith—See! the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world.
Mu lumbu kilanda, Yowani wumona Yesu wunkuiza kuidi niandi, buna wutuba: —Tala, Muana dimemi di Nzambi wumbotulanga masumu ma nza.
30 This, is he, of whom, I, said—After me, cometh a man, who, before me, hath advanced, because, my Chief, was he.
Niandi mutu wowo ndiluyolukila bu ndilukamba ti: “Mutu wowo wunkuiza ku manima mama wundutidi munneni bila niandi wutuama kukibela ayi minu.”
31 And, I, knew him not, but, that he might be manifested unto Israel, therefore, came, I, in water, immersing.
Minu ndisia tuama kunzaba ko, vayi mu diambu kazabakana kuidi Iseli diawu minu ndilembo botikila mu nlangu.
32 And John bare witness, saying—I have gazed upon the Spirit, descending like a dove, out of heaven, —and it abode upon him.
Yowani wutelama kimbangi bu katuba: —Ndimona Pheve yitotukila ku Diyilu banga dibembe, yivuanda va niandi.
33 And, I, knew him not, —but, he that sent me to immerse in water, he, unto me, said—Upon whomsoever thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding upon him, the same, is he that immerseth in Holy Spirit.
Kuidi minu, ndisi kunzaba ko; vayi mutu wowo wuthuma mu kuiza botika mu nlangu niandi wukhamba: “Va mutu wowo wela mona Pheve yikulukidi va niandi ayi yivuendi va niandi; buna niandi mutu wela botikila mu Pheve Yinlongo.”
34 I, therefore, have seen, and borne witness—That, this, is, the, Son of God.
Buna minu ndimona ayi nditelama kimbangi ti mutu wawu niandi muana Nzambi.
35 On the morrow, again, was John standing, and, from among his disciples, two;
Diaka mu lumbu kilanda, Yowani wuba diaka vana ayi minlonguki miandi miodi.
36 and, looking at Jesus walking, he saith—See! the Lamb of God!
Mu thangu kamona Yesu wumviokila vana buna wutuba: —Tala, Muana dimemi di Nzambi.
37 and the two disciples hearkened unto him speaking, and they followed Jesus.
Minlonguki mi miodi minwa bu katuba, buna milandakana Yesu.
38 But Jesus, turning, and looking at them following, saith unto them—What seek ye? And, they, said unto him—Rabbi! which meaneth, when translated, Teacher, Where abidest thou?
Yesu bu kabaluka wuba mona balembo nlandakana. Diawu kaba yuvudila: —A mbi luntomba e? Bamvutudila: —Labi bu dinsundula Nlongi, kuevi wukala e?
39 He saith unto them—Be coming, and ye shall see. They came, therefore, and saw where he abode, and, with him, they abode that day. It was about the tenth, hour.
Wuba kamba: —Yizanu ayi malumona. Bayenda ayi bamona va kaba nkalanga. Bakala yandi mu lumbu kina; yiba nduka-nduka thangu yi nya yi masika.
40 One of the two that heard from John and followed him, was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter.
Andele, khomba yi Simoni Piela, wuba wumosi mu minlonguki beni miodi miomi miwa mambu ma Yowani ayi milandakana Yesu.
41 The same findeth, first, his own brother Simon, and saith unto him—We have found the Messiah! which is, when translated, Anointed.
Ku nzimunina, niandi wuyenda bata theti khombꞌandi Simoni, wunkamba: —Beto tumueningi Mesiya Tsundu Mesiya Klisto.
42 He led him unto Jesus. Jesus, looking at him, said—Thou, art Simon, the son of John, —thou, shalt be called, Cephas; which is to be translated, Peter.
Buna wunnata kuidi Yesu. Yesu bu kantala, buna wunkamba: —Ngeyo widi Simoni, muana Zonasi. Ngeyo wela tedolongo Sefasi. Tsundu Sefasi “Ditadi”.
43 On the morrow, he desired to go forth into Galilee. And Jesus findeth Philip, and saith unto him—Be following me!
Mu lumbu kilanda, Yesu wukana kuenda ku Ngalili. Wumona Filipi ayi wunkamba: —Wundandakana!
44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter.
Filipi wuba muisi Betesayida, divula dimosi ayi Andele ayi Piela.
45 Philip, findeth, Nathanael, and saith unto him—Him, of whom wrote Moses in the law, and the Prophets, have we found.—Jesus, son of Joseph, him from Nazareth!
Filipi wuyenda tala Natanayeli ayi wunkamba: —Beto tumueningi mutu wowo Moyize kayolukila mu Mina ayi wowo mimbikudi miyolukila, dizina diandi Yesu, muana zozefu muisi Nazaleti.
46 And Nathanael said unto him—Out of Nazareth, can any good thing come? Philip saith unto him—Come, and see!
Natanayeli wunkamba: —Buna ku Nazaleti kulenda kuandi totukila diambu dimboti e? Filipi wumvutudila: —Yiza ayi mona.
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming unto him, and saith concerning him—See! Truly, an Israelite, in whom is no guile.
Yesu wumona Natanayeli wulembo yizi ku kaba, buna wutuba: —Tala muisi Iseli wukiedika, mu niandi mukambulu mayuya.
48 Nathanael saith unto him—Whence, dost thou, know, me? Jesus answered, and said unto him—Before Philip called thee, —when thou wast under the fig-tree, I saw thee.
Natanayeli wunyuvula: —Kuevi wunzabidi e? Yesu wumvutudila: —Tuamina Filipi kiza kambi, bu vuendingi kuna tsi nti wu figi, minu ndimueningi.
49 Nathanael answered him—Rabbi! thou, art, the Son of God: Thou, art, King, of Israel.
Buna Natanayeli wunkamba: —Nlongi, ngeyo widi Muana Nzambi, widi ntinu wu Iseli.
50 Jesus answered, and said unto him—Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig-tree, believest thou? A greater thing than these, shalt thou see!
Yesu wumvutudila: —Ngeyo wilukidi bu ndikembi ti ndimueningi bu vuendingi ku tsi nti wu figi e? Wela mona mambu manneni viokila mama.
51 And he saith unto him—Verily, verily, I say unto you: Ye shall see heaven—when set open, and, the messengers of God, ascending and descending unto the Son of Man.
Buna wubuela kamba: —Bukiedika ndikulukamba, luela mona Diyilu dizibukidi ayi zimbasi zi Nzambi ziela maka ayi kuluka va muana mutu.
