Job 25

1 Then responded Bildad the Shuhite, and said: —

Και απεκρίθη Βιλδάδ ο Σαυχίτης και είπεν·

2 Dominion and dread, are with him, who causeth prosperity among his lofty ones;

Εξουσία και φόβος είναι μετ' αυτού· εκτελεί ειρήνην εις τα ύψη αυτού.

3 Is there any number to his troops? And upon whom ariseth not his light?

Υπάρχει αριθμός των στρατευμάτων αυτού; και επί τίνα δεν ανατέλλει το φως αυτού;

4 How then shall, a mortal, be just with GOD? Or how shall he be pure who is born of a woman?

Πως λοιπόν δύναται άνθρωπος να δικαιωθή ενώπιον του Θεού; ή πως δύναται να ήναι καθαρός ο γεγεννημένος εκ γυναικός;

5 Look as far as the moon, and it is not clear, and, the stars, are not bright in his eyes!

Ιδού, και αυτή η σελήνη δεν είναι λαμπρά, και οι αστέρες δεν είναι καθαροί ενώπιον αυτού.

6 How much less a mortal who is a creeping thing? Or a son of the earth-born who is a worm?

Πόσον ολιγώτερον ο άνθρωπος, σαπρία; και ο υιός του ανθρώπου, ο σκώληξ;
