James 5
1 Come now! ye wealthy! Weep ye, howling, for your hardships which are coming upon you:
Atûn, nangni mineingei, ke he rangâi roi! Nin chunga dûktongnangei ahong tung rang sikin chapin inrum roi!
2 Your wealth, hath rotted, and, your garments, have become, moth-eaten, —
Nin rochonngei hah asiet suo zoia, nin puonngei khom leidân asâk suo zoi.
3 Your gold and silver, have rusted away, and, their rust, shall be, witness against you, and shall eat your flesh, as fire! Ye have laid up treasure in days of extremity: —
Nan rângkachak le nin sumdârngei hah thîr êkin apholom suo zoia, ha thîr êk hah nangni doia rietpuipu nîng a ta, nin taksa hah meikâng angin sâk minmang atih. Hi sûn nûktakngeia hin rochon nin bûm ani.
4 Lo, the wage of the workers who have out down your fields—that which hath been kept back, by you, is crying out; and, the outcries of them who reaped, into the ears of the Lord of hosts, have entered:
Nin loia sintho ngâi mingei an rathamanngei pêk ngâi mak chei. An chiernangei hah rangâi roi! Nin bu mintûppu ngei, chapnangei hah Pumapa Râtinchung, Pathien kuorngeia atung zoi ani.
5 Ye have luxuriated upon the land, and run riot, ye have pampered your hearts in a day of slaughter;
Hi pilchunga nin ringnun hin inchêktak le hoiinhâitakin nin om ani. Thatni sûna rangin nangni nanâkin lênvâi minmar nin ni.
6 Ye sentenced—ye murdered the Righteous one! Is he not arraying himself against you?
Minchâinaboi mingei asiemintumin nin thata, nikhomrese anni chu nangni khan mak ngei.
7 Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the Presence of the Lord: —Lo! the husbandman, awaiteth the precious fruit of the earth, having patience for it, until it receive the early and the latter rain:
Hanchu, ka lâibungngei le sarnungei, Pumapa juong nôk mâka tuongdiertakin om roi. Vêng ta u, loithopungei hah idôra tuongdiertie mo an ni, an loia han mara lûttak amusuo pe ngei mâka chu sâl ruotui le zar ruotui tuongdiertakin an ngâk tit ngâi ani.
8 Be, ye also, patient, Stablish your hearts, because, the Presence of the Lord, hath drawn near.
Nangni khom nin tuongdier ngêt rang ani. Nin sabeinangei hah dar minsâng roi, Pumapa juong nôkna rang nikhuo hih anâi zoi sikin.
9 Be not sighing, brethren, one against another, lest ye be judged, —Lo! the Judge, before the doors, is standing.
Masikin, ka lâibungngei le sarnungei, Pathien'n nin chungroi a jêk loina rangin inkhat le inkhat indoiin inchierkhum inlôm no roi. Roijêkpu hih anâi zoi, inlang rangin ânzoisai kêng ani zoi.
10 An example, take ye, brethren, of distress and patience, —the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord.
Ka lâibungngei le sarnungei, Pumapa riminga thurchi misîr ngâi dêipungei hah riettit roi. An dûktuongna le tuongdierna hah dierna chang minennangei anghan lâk roi.
11 Lo! we pronounce them happy who have endured; —Of the endurance of Job, ye have heard, and, the end of the Lord, have ye seen, —that, of much tender affection, is the Lord, and full of compassion,
An lei dier sikin satvurna an chang tiin ei koi ngei ani. Job tuongdiertie hah nin rieta, male amongnataka kho angin mo Pumapa'n satvurna a pêk khom nin riet. Pumapa chu mulungjûrpuina le lungkhamna sip ani sikin.
12 But, before all things, my brethren, do not swear, —either by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your Yea be yea, and your Nay nay, —lest, under judgment, ye fall.
Mangei chung nâma han, ka lâibungngei le sarnungei, chonginkhâmna nin tho zora khomin, invân dênin mo, philchung dênin mo, aninônchu neinun dangngei dênin mo, khomâkinsâmna mang no roi. Anin chu “Ani” vai ti ungla, aninôn chu, “Nimak” vai ti roi, hanchu Pathien roijêkna nuoia hong om no tunui.
13 In distress, is any among you? Let him pray; Cheerful, is any? Let him strike the strings;
Nin lâia intak tuong mo nin om? Chubaitho rese ngei. Arâisân mo nin om? Minpâkna lâtho rese ngei.
14 Sick, is any among you? Let him call unto him the elders of the assembly, and let them pray for him, anointing him with oil in the name [of the Lord]; —
Mi damloi mo an om? Koiindang upangei koi senla ngei, anni han Pumapa rimingin an chunga olive sariek polin anni rangin chubaitho pe rese ngei.
15 And, the prayer of faith, shall save the exhausted one, and the Lord will raise him up, and, if he have committed, sins, it shall be forgiven him.
Ma taksônna chubaithona han damloi ngei hah dam an ta; Pumapa'n taksa damna pêk nôk ngei a ta, male nunsie an lei tho ngei khom hah ngâidamin om an tih.
16 Be openly confessing, therefore, one to another, your sins, and be praying in each other’s behalf, —that ye may be healed. Much availeth, the supplication of a righteous man, when it is energised:
Masikin, dama nin om theina rangin inkhat le inkhat kôm nin sietna phuong inlôm ngâi ungla, inkhat le inkhat rang chubaitho pe inlôm ngâi roi. Mi sa chubaithona chu sinthotheina ranak adôn ok ngâi ani.
17 Elijah, was, a man, affected like us; and he earnestly prayed that there might be no moisture, and there was no moisture on the land, for three years and six months, —
Elijah hah eini ngei jâtdên anghan miriem ani. Ruo juong loina rangin ningsietakin chubai a thoa, male philchunga kum thum inang chu ruo juong mak.
18 And, again, he prayed, and, the heaven, gave, rain, and, the land, shot up her fruit.
Voikhat chubai a tho nôka, invânin a ruo aminjuong nôka hanchu pilchungin amarangei a musuo nôk zoi ani.
19 My brethren! If one among you be led to err from the truth, and one turn him back,
Ka lâibungngei le sarnungei, nin lâia tumakhatin chongtak renga ânvâi inmanga, midang inkhatin a hong tuong mikhîr nôkin chu,
20 Be ye taking note—that, he that turneth back a sinner out of the error of his way—will save his soul out of death, and hide a multitude of sins.
mahi riettit roi: tukhom mi nunsie a lampui dikloi renga amapa hah aninônchu amanu hah a hong mehei nôkpu han ma mi nunsie ratha hah thina renga sanminring a ta, sietna tamtak chungroia ngâidamna mintung atih.
