James 4
1 Whence wars and whence fightings among you? are they not from hence—due to your pleasures which are taking the field in your members?

2 Ye covet—and have not, ye commit murder, and are jealous—and cannot obtain, —ye fight and war. Ye have not—because ye do not really ask,
Na cilesa uh in dei napi, na nei bua uh hi: na nei nuam hial uh zong, na nga bua uh hi: kihau in na ki do uh hang, na nei tuan bua uh hi, banghangziam cile na nget ngawl uh hang a hihi.
3 Ye ask and receive not, because that, basely, ye ask, in order that, in your pleasures, ye may spend [it].
Na nget uh hang zong na nga bua uh hi, banghangziam cile na nget khial uh hang a hihi, na cilesa deina atu bek zang nuam in na nget uh hang a hihi.
4 Adulteresses! Know ye not that, the friendship of the world, is, enmity to God? Whosoever, therefore, is minded to be, a friend, of the world, an enemy of God, doth constitute himself.
No palngul mawna a vawt te awng, leitung taw kilemna sia Pathian taw ki ngal nei na a hihi, ci he ngawl nu ziam? a kuamapo ahizong leitung i lawm ahile Pathian i ngal a hihi.
5 Or think ye that, in vain, the scripture speaketh? Is it, for envying, that the spirit which hath taken an abode within us doth crave?
Laithiangtho in, eite sung ah a om Thaa in hong lungngul in hong thum hi, a ci sia matlap nei ngawl in a pau hi, ci in ngaisun nu ziam?
6 Howbeit he giveth, greater, favour. Wherefore it saith—God, against the haughty, arrayeth himself, Whereas, unto the lowly, he giveth favour.
Ahihang Ama in thuthiamna a tawm zaw hong pia hi. Tua ahikom, Pathian in a ki phasak te nalh a, a ki niamkhiak te thuthiamna pia hi.
7 Range yourselves, therefore, under God, but withstand the adversary, and he will flee from you:
Tua ahikom Pathian deina zui tavun. Doaimangpa na nalh vun a, taciang note kung pan in tai tu hi.
8 Draw near unto God, and he will draw near unto you. Cleanse hands, sinners! Chasten hearts, double souls!
Pathian neak vun a, Ama in zong hong neak tu hi. No mawnei te na khut uh thiangthosak vun; no thin ka te na thinsung uh thiangthosak vun.
9 Be miserable and lament and weep, let, your laughter, into lamentation, be turned, and, your joy, into dejection;
Khuangai vun, tau in kap vun: na nui na uh te kaa na taw lai vun, na lungdamna uh heena taw lai vun.
10 Be made low in presence of the Lord, and he will lift you up.
Topa mai ah ki niamkhiak vun, taciang Ama in hong lamsang tu hi.
11 Be not speaking one against another, brethren! He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against law, and judgeth law; Now, if, upon law, thou art passing judgment, thou art not a doer of law, but a judge!
Suapui te awng, khat le khat ki ngensia heak vun. A suapui ngensia in thu a khen pa sia thukham paltan in a pau hi a, thukhen a hihi: ahihang thukham sia thu na khen ahile, nangma sia thukham zui hi ngawl in, thukham thukhen na hi zaw hi.
12 One, is Lawgiver and Judge—He who hath power to save and to destroy; but who art, thou, that judgest thy neighbour?
Thukham a pia khat om hi, Ama in eite hong he a, hong susia thei hi: ngualdang thu a khen nangma sia akua ni ziam?
13 Come now! ye that say—Today or To-morrow, we will journey unto this city here, and will spend there a year, and will trade and get gain, —
Tu ni, a hibale zingciang khuapi ah i pai tu a, kumkhat sung om tawng, taciang van lei in zuak tawng, phattuamna i nga tu hi, a ci te awng, tu in hongpai tavun:
14 Men who are not versed in the morrow—of what sort your life [will be]; for ye are, a vapour—for a little, appearing, then, just disappearing!
Zingciang bang suak tu nu ziam, ci na he bua uh hi. Banghangziam cile na nuntakna uh sia bangziam? Tawmvei sung kilang a, a bokik tuikhu bang a hihi.
15 Instead of your saying—If, the Lord, be pleased, we shall both, live and do this or that;
Tua sang in, Topa deina om a, i nungta lai tu ahile, hi sia a hibale zesia ka vawt tu uh hi, na ci tu uh a hihi.
16 Whereas, now, are ye boasting in your pretensions: —All boasting like this, is, wicked,
Ahihang tu in note lungdam in kisuangtak nu hi: tabang lungdamna te theampo sia a pha ngawl a hihi.
17 To him, therefore, who knoweth how to be doing, a right thing, and is not doing it, it is, sin, unto him.
Tua ahikom na pha sep tu he napi a, a seam bua ahile, tasia in mawna a hihi.
