Isaiah 38
1 In those days, was Hezekiah sick, unto death, —and Isaiah the prophet son of Amoz came in unto him, and said unto him—Thus, saith Yahweh, Set in order thy house, for, about to die thou art and shalt not recover.
১সেই সময়ত হিষ্কিয়াৰ সাংঘাতিক নৰিয়া হৈছিল। আমোচৰ পুত্ৰ ভাববাদী যিচয়াই তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিলে, আৰু তেওঁক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই কৈছে, ‘তুমি তোমাৰ ঘৰ সৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ কৰা; কাৰণ তোমাৰ মৃত্যু হ’ব, তুমি আৰু জীয়াই নাথাকিবা’।”
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face unto the wall, —and prayed unto Yahweh;
২তাৰ পাছত হিষ্কিয়াই দেৱালৰ ফাললৈ মুখ ঘূৰাই যিহোৱাৰ আগত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি ক’লে,
3 and said, —I beseech thee, O Yahweh, remember, I pray thee, how I have walked before thee in faithfulness and with an undivided heart, and, that which is good in thine eyes, have I done. And Hezekiah wept aloud.
৩তেওঁ ক’লে, “হে যিহোৱা বিনয় কৰোঁ, মই সত্যভাৱে আৰু শুদ্ধ মনেৰে আপোনাৰ সাক্ষাতে কেনেকৈ চলি আহিছোঁ, আৰু আপোনাৰ দৃষ্টিত কেনে সদাচৰণ কৰি আহিছোঁ, তাক আপুনি এতিয়া সোঁৱৰণ কৰক; এই বুলি হিষ্কিয়াই বৰকৈ কান্দিলে।
4 Then came the word of Yahweh unto, Isaiah, saying:
৪যিচয়াৰ ওচৰলৈ যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য আহিল,
5 Go, and say unto Hezekiah—Thus, saith Yahweh, the God of David thy father: I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears, —Behold me! about to add unto thy days, fifteen years;
৫“তুমি গৈ হিষ্কিয়াক কোৱা, তোমাৰ ওপৰ পিতৃ দায়ূদৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, মই তোমাৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা শুনিলোঁ, আৰু তোমাৰ চকুলোত মোৰ দৃষ্টি পৰিল; চোৱা, মই তোমাৰ আয়ুস পোন্ধৰ বছৰ বঢ়াই দিম।
6 And out of the hand of the king of Assyria, will I deliver thee, and this city; And I will throw a covering over this city.
৬আৰু মই ৰজা অচূৰীয়াৰ হাতৰ পৰা তোমাক আৰু এই নগৰক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিম; আৰু মই এই নগৰৰ ঢালস্বৰূপ হ’ম।
7 And, this, to thee, shall be the sign from Yahweh, —that Yahweh will do this thing which he hath spoken: —
৭আৰু যিহোৱাৰ পৰা তোমালৈ এই চিন হ’ব, যে, মই যি কৈছো সেয়াই সিদ্ধ কৰিম।
8 Behold me! causing the shadow on the steps, which hath come gone down on the steps of Ahaz with the sun, to return, backwards ten steps. So the sun returned ten steps, by the steps which it had come down.
৮চোৱা, আহজৰ খটখটিত ছাঁটো দহ খাপ ওভটাবলৈ মই খটখটিত ছাঁ পেলাম’।” সেয়ে সেই খটখটিৰ ছাঁটো আগুৱাই যোৱা স্থানৰ পৰা দহ খোজ উভটি গৈছিল।
9 the writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick and then recovered from his sickness:
৯যিহূদাৰ ৰজা হিষ্কিয়াই নৰিয়া পৰি সুস্থ হোৱাৰ পাছত লিখা প্রাৰ্থনা এইয়া আছিল:
10 I, said—In the noontide of my days, I must enter the gates of hades, —I am deprived of the residue of my years! (Sheol h7585)
১০মই কৈছিলোঁ যে, মোৰ জীৱনৰ আধা ভাগত মই চিয়োলৰ দুৱাৰৰ মাজেৰে যাম; মোৰ আয়ুসৰ অৱশিষ্ট ভাগৰ বাবে মোক তালৈ পঠোৱা হৈছে।” (Sheol h7585)
11 I said—I shall not see Yah, Yah, in the land of the living, I shall discern the son of earth no longer, with the dwellers in the quiet land.
১১মই কৈছিলোঁ যে, “মই জীৱিত লোকৰ দেশত যিহোৱাক আৰু দেখিবলৈ নাপাম; পৃথিৱীৰ নিবাসী বা মনুষ্যক মই আৰু নাচাও।
12 My dwelling, hath been broken up. And is stripped from me, like a shepherd’s tent, —I have rolled up—as a weaver—my life From the loom, doth he cut me off, From day until night, [I said] —Thou wilt finish me.
১২মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়াৰ তম্বুৰ দৰে মোৰ জীৱন মোৰ পৰা আঁতৰাই নিয়া হ’ল; মই সিপিনীয়ে বোৱা কাপোৰৰ দৰে মোৰ জীৱন নুৰিয়ালোঁ, আপুনি মোক তাঁত শালৰ পৰা কাটিলে; দিন আৰু ৰাতিৰ ভিতৰত আপুনি মোৰ জীৱনটো শেষ কৰিব।
13 I cried out, until morning, like a lion, Thus, will he break all my bones! From day until night, Thou wilt finish me!
১৩মই ৰাতিপুৱালৈকে কান্দিলোঁ, সিংহৰ দৰে তেওঁ মোৰ আটাই হাড় ভাঙিছে; দিন আৰু ৰাতিৰ ভিতৰতে আপুনি মোৰ জীৱন শেষ কৰিলে।
14 As a twittering swallow, so, do I chatter, I coo as a dove, —Mine eyes languish through looking on high, O My Lord! distress is upon me—my Surety!
১৪মই বগলীৰ দৰে চিঁচিঁয়াই আছোঁ; কপৌৰ দৰে শোক ধ্বনি কৰিছোঁ; ওপৰলৈ চাওঁতে চাওঁতে মোৰ চকু দুৰ্বল হ’ল; হে যিহোৱা মই উপদ্ৰৱ পাইছোঁ, মোক সহায় কৰক।
15 What can I say? Since he hath promised for me, Himself, will perform. I will go softly, all my years. Because of the bitterness of my soul,
১৫মই কি ক’ম? তেওঁ মোক ক’লে, আৰু তেওঁ সিদ্ধও কৰিলে; মোৰ আত্মা দূখেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হোৱাৰ বাবে মই মোৰ গোটেই জীৱনত লাহে লাহে খোজ কাঢ়িম।
16 O My Lord! on those things do men live, —And, altogether in them, is the life of my spirit, When thou hast strengthened me and made me live.
১৬হে প্ৰভু, আপুনি দিয়া কষ্ট মোৰ বাবে লাভজনক; মোৰ জীৱনটো পুনৰ ঘূৰাই দিব পাৰে; আপুনি মোৰ জীৱন আৰু স্ৱাস্থ্য পুনৰ স্থাপন কৰিলে।
17 Lo! for well-being, I had bitterness—bitterness, —But, thou, cleaving unto my soul, hast raised me from the pit of corruption, For thou hast cast, behind thy back all my sins.
১৭মই তেনে কষ্ট অনুভৱ কৰাটো মোৰ বাবে লাভজনক আপুনি মোক ধ্বংসৰ গাতৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা কৰিলে; কিয়নো আপুনি মোৰ সকলো পাপ আপোনাৰ পাছফালে দলিয়াই পেলালে।
18 For, hades, cannot praise thee Nor, death, celebrate thee, —They who go down to the pit cannot wait for thy faithfulness. (Sheol h7585)
১৮কাৰণ চিয়োলে আপোনাক ধন্যবাদ নিদিয়ে; মৃত্যুৱে আপোনাৰ প্রশংসা নকৰে; গাতলৈ নামি যোৱাসকলে আপোনাৰ বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতালৈ আশা কৰিব নোৱাৰে। (Sheol h7585)
19 The living, the living, he, can praise thee, As I do this day, —A father, to his children, can make known thy faithfulness.
১৯আজি মই যেনেকৈ কৰিছোঁ, তেনেকৈ জীৱিত লোকেহে আপোনাক ধন্যবাদ দিব পাৰে; পিতৃয়ে সন্তান সকলক আপোনাৰ বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা জানিব দিব।
20 Yahweh, [was willing] to save me, —Therefore, on my stringed instruments, will we play—All the days of our life By the house of Yahweh.
২০যিহোৱাই মোক পৰিত্ৰাণ কৰিবলৈ যুগুত আছে, আমাৰ জীৱনৰ প্রতিটো দিনত যিহোৱাৰ গৃহত আমি সঙ্গীতেৰে সৈতে উদযাপন কৰিম।
21 And Isaiah had said, Let them take a cake of figs, and let them press it over the boil, that he may recover.
২১তেতিয়া যিচয়াই ক’লে, “ডিমৰু গুটিৰ লদা আনি, খহুৰ ওপৰত লগাই দিয়া যাওক; তাতে তেওঁ সুস্থ হ’ব।”।
22 And Hezekiah had said—What is the sign—that I shall go up unto the house of Yahweh?
২২হিষ্কিয়ায়ো ক’লে, “মই যে, যিহোৱাৰ গৃহলৈ উঠি যাম, ইয়াৰ চিন কি হ’ব?
