Isaiah 22
1 The oracle on the valley of vision, —What aileth thee, then, That thou art wholly gone up to the house-tops?
Profecia kundër Luginës së Vegimit. Çfarë ke ti tani që ke hipur e tëra mbi çatitë,
2 With tumults, art thou filled, thou citadel in commotion! city exultant! Thy slain, are Not the slain, of the sword, Nor the dead in battle.
ti që je plot me britma, qytet zhurmëmadh, qytet dëfrimesh? Të vrarët e tu nuk janë vrarë nga shpata as kanë vdekur në betejë.
3 All thy ruler, having fled, together, by the bow, are taken captive: All found in thee have been taken captive, together, Far away, have they fled.
Tërë krerët e tu kanë ikur bashkë, janë zënë robër pa hark; tërë ata që u gjetën te ti u zunë robër, megjithëse kishin ikur larg.
4 For this cause, I said—Look away from me, Bitterly, will I weep, —Do not press to comfort me, For the ruin of the daughter of my people.
Prandaj them: “Largoni shikimin nga unë; unë do të qaj me hidhërim. Mos kërkoni të më ngushëlloni për dëshpërimin e bijës së popullit tim”.
5 For a day of confusion and downtreading and perplexity, pertaineth to My Lord, Yahweh of hosts, in the valley of vision, an undermining of walls, and a crying for help to the mountain.
Sepse është një ditë lemerie, shkatërrimi dhe ngurimi nga ana e ZOTIT, të Zotit të ushtrive; në Luginën e Vegimeve muret janë shembur dhe britma për ndihmë arrin deri në mal.
6 Yea, Elam, beareth the quiver, With trains of men, [and] horsemen, —And, Kir, hath uncovered the shield.
Elami ka marrë kukurën me qerre njerëzish dhe kalorësish. Kiri ka zbuluar mburojën.
7 And it hath come to pass that the choice of thy vales, are full of chariots; Yea, the horsemen, have set themselves, in array, at the gate.
Do të ndodhë që luginat e tua më të mira do të jenë plot me qerre dhe kalorësit do të zënë pozicion para portave të tua.
8 Then removed he the veil of Judah, —Yea thou didst peer on that day, into the armoury of the forest-house;
Pastaj ai hoqi mbrojtjen e Judës dhe po atë ditë ti e hodhe shikimin mbi arsenalin e pallatit të Pyllit.
9 And the breaches in the city of David, ye beheld for they were many, —So ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool;
Keni parë gjithashtu sa të shumta ishin të çarat në muret e qytetit të Davidit, dhe keni mbledhur ujërat e hauzit të poshtëm.
10 And the houses of Jerusalem, ye counted, —And brake down the houses, to fortify the wall;
Keni numëruar shtëpitë e Jeruzalemit dhe keni shembur shtëpi për të fortifikuar muret.
11 And a reservoir, ye made between the two walls, for the waters of the ancient pool, —And had no regard unto him that made it, Nor unto him that formed it long ago, had ye respect.
Përveç kësaj keni ndërtuar një rezervuar midis dy mureve për ujërat e hauzit të vjetër, por nuk keni parë se kush e ka bërë këtë, as nuk keni marrë parasysh kush e ka menduar këtë prej një kohe të gjatë.
12 And, when My Lord Yahweh of hosts called in that day, —for weeping, and for lamentation, and for shaving bare and for girding with sackcloth,
Atë ditë Zoti, Zoti i ushtrive, ju thirri që të qani, të mbani zi, të rruani kokën dhe të mbështilleni me thasë.
13 Then lo! joy and rejoicing, killing oxen and slaughtering sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine, —Let us eat and drink, For to-morrow, we may die!
Po përkundrazi ja, gëzim dhe hare, priten qe dhe theren dele, hahet mish dhe pihet verë. “Të hamë dhe të pimë, se nesër do të vdesim!”.
14 Therefore did Yahweh reveal himself in mine ears. Surely there shall be no propitiatory-covering put over this iniquity for you until ye die, Saith My Lord Yahweh of hosts.
Por Zoti i ushtrive u ka thënë veshëve të mi: “Ky mëkati juaj nuk do të shlyhet deri sa ju të vdisni”, thotë Zoti, Zoti i ushtrive.
15 Thus, said My Lord Yahweh, of hosts, Come go in unto this steward, Unto Shebna, who is over the house:
Kështu thotë Zoti, Zoti i ushtrive: “Shko pra te ky administrator, te Shebna, kryekujdestar, dhe i thuaj:
16 What doest thou here? And whom hast thou here? That thou hast hewn for thyself here a sepulchre, —As one hewing on high his sepulchre, Cutting out in the cliff a habitation for himself?
“Çfarë zotëron ti këtu dhe cilin ke këtu, që ke bërë të të gërmojnë këtu një varr, ashtu si ai që gërmon për vete një vendvarrim lart dhe pret në shkëmb një varr?”.
17 Lo! Yahweh, is about to hurl thee, with a hurl, O mighty man, —And roll thee with a roll;
Ja, Zoti po të flak me dhunë, o njeri i fuqishëm, dhe do të të kapë mirë.
18 He will, toss, thee, with a toss, like a ball, into a country wide on both hands, —There, shalt thou die, And there shall thy glorious chariots be the contempt of the house of thy lord.
Do të të rrukullisë mirë e mirë dhe do të të hedhë si një top në një vend të gjerë. Aty do të vdesësh dhe do të mbarojnë qerret e tua krenare, o turp i shtëpisë së zotit tënd.
19 Thus will I thrust thee out from thine office, —And from thy station, shall one tear thee down.
Do të të dëbojë nga zyra jote dhe do të tërhiqesh poshtë nga posti yt!
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, That I will call for my servant, for Eliakim son of Hilkiah,
Atë ditë do të ndodhë që të thëras shërbëtorin tim Eliakim, birin e Hilkiahut;
21 And will clothe him with thy tunic And with thy girdle, will I gird him, And thine authority, will I deliver into his hand, —So shall he become a father To the inhabitant of Jerusalem and To the house of Judah.
do ta vesh me tunikën tënde, do t’i vë brezin tënd dhe do ta kaloj pushtetin tënd në duart e tij, dhe ai do të jetë një atë për banorët e Jeruzalemit dhe për shtëpinë e Judës.
22 And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder, —And he shall open and none shall shut, And shut and none shall open;
Do të vë mbi supin e tij çelësin e shtëpisë së Davidit; kështu ai do të hapë dhe askush nuk do të mund ta mbyllë, do ta mbyllë dhe askush nuk do ta mund ta hapë.
23 And I will fasten him as a peg in a sure place, —And he shall become a throne of glory, to the house of his father;
Do ta ngul si një gozhdë në një vend të sigurt, dhe ai do të bëhet një fron lavdie për shtëpinë e atit të tij.
24 And they shall hang upon him all the weight of his father’s house—The offshoots and the side-twigs—All the small vessels, Both the cups and all the jugs
Nga ai do të varet tërë lavdia e shtëpisë së atit të tij, trashëgimtarët dhe degët anësorë, të gjitha enët edhe ato më të vogla, që nga kupat e e deri te shtambët e çdo lloji.
25 In that day, —Declareth Yahweh of hosts Shall the peg, give way, that was fastened in a sure place, —Yea it shall be cut off and fall And the burden that was upon it shall perish, For, Yahweh, hath spoken!
“Atë ditë, thotë Zoti i ushtrive, gozhda e ngulur në vend të sigurt do të hiqet, do të shkulet poshtë dhe do të bjerë; dhe gjithë pesha që mbante do të shkatërrohet, sepse Zoti ka folur”.
