Haggai 1
1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first of the month, came the word of Yahweh, by the hand of Haggai the prophet, unto Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, pasha of Judah, and unto Jehoshua son of Jehozadak the high priest, saying:
| لە یەکی مانگی شەشی ساڵی دووەمی داریوشی پاشا فەرمایشتی یەزدان لە ڕێگەی حەگەی پێغەمبەرەوە بۆ زروبابلی کوڕی شەئەلتیێلی فەرمانڕەوای یەهودا و بۆ یەشوعی کوڕی یەهۆچاداقی سەرۆک کاهین هات و فەرمووی: |
2 Thus, speaketh Yahweh of hosts, saying, —This people, have said, Not yet hath come the time for the house of Yahweh to be built.
| یەزدانی سوپاسالار ئەمە دەفەرموێت: «ئەم گەلە گوتیان:”هەتا ئێستا کاتی بنیادنانەوەی ماڵی یەزدان نەهاتووە.“» |
3 Therefore hath come the word of Yahweh by the hand of Haggai the prophet, saying:
| ئینجا فەرمایشتی یەزدان لە ڕێگەی حەگەی پێغەمبەرەوە هات: |
4 Is it a time that, ye yourselves, should be dwelling in your own paneled houses? and, this house, be in ruins?
| «ئایا دەگونجێ کە لە ماڵە ڕازاوەکەتان دابنیشن، بەڵام ئەم ماڵە وێرانە؟» |
5 Now, therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, —Apply your heart unto your own experience—
| ئێستاش یەزدانی سوپاسالار ئەمە دەفەرموێت: «لە کردەوەکانتان ڕابمێنن. |
6 Ye have sown much, but have brought in little, have eaten, and not been filled, have drunk, and not been satisfied with drink, have clothed you, and none hath been warm, —and, he that hath hired himself out, hath put his wages into a bag with holes.
| زۆرتان چاند، بەڵام کەم هات. خواردتان، بەڵام تێر نەبوون. خواردتانەوە، بەڵام تینووێتیتان نەشکا. بەرگتان پۆشی، بەڵام گەرم نەبوونەوە. کرێگرتەش کرێ وەردەگرێت، بەڵام دەیخاتە گیرفانێکی دڕاو.» |
7 Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, —Apply your heart to your own experience:
| یەزدانی سوپاسالار ئەمە دەفەرموێت: «لە کردەوەکانتان ڕابمێنن. |
8 Ascend the mountain—and bring in wood and build the house, —that I may be pleased therewith and get myself glory, saith Yahweh.
| سەربکەونە سەر چیا و دار بهێنن و ماڵەکەی من بنیاد بنێن، لێی ڕازی دەبم و شکۆدار دەبم. |
9 When ye looked for much, then lo! it came to little, when ye brought it home, then I did blow into it, — Because of what? Demandeth Yahweh of hosts, Because of my house, the which is in ruins, while ye keep running every man to his own house.
| چاوەڕێی زۆرتان کرد، بەڵام کەم هات. ئەوەی ئێوە هێناتانە ماڵەوە، فووم لێی کرد. لەبەر چی؟ لەبەر ماڵەکەم، ئەوەی کە وێرانە، ئێوەش هەریەکە و بە ماڵەکەی خۆیەوە سەرقاڵە. |
10 Wherefore—on your account, have the heavens, held back, dew, — and, the earth, held back her fruit;
| لەبەر ئەوە ئاسمان شەونمی ڕاگرت و زەویش بەروبوومی خۆی ڕاگرت. |
11 And I have called for drought, upon the land and upon the mountains, and upon the corn and upon the new wine and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground, bringeth forth, —and upon man, and upon beast, and upon all the labour of the hands.
| من وشکەساڵیم بانگکرد بۆ سەر زەوییەکە و بۆ سەر چیاکان، بۆ دانەوێڵە و شەرابی نوێ و زەیت، بۆ سەر هەرچی خاکەکە بەرهەمی دەهێنێت، بۆ سەر مرۆڤ و ئاژەڵ، بۆ سەر هەموو کارەکانی دەست.» ئەمە فەرمایشتی یەزدانی سوپاسالارە. |
12 Then hearkened Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jehoshua son of Jehozadak the high priest, and all the remnant of the people, unto the voice of Yahweh their God, and unto the words of Haggai the prophet, as Yahweh their God, had sent him, —and the people, stood in awe, before Yahweh.
| ئینجا زروبابلی کوڕی شەئەلتیێل و یەشوعی کوڕی یەهۆچاداقی سەرۆک کاهین و هەموو پاشماوەی گەل گوێڕایەڵی یەزدانی پەروەردگاریان و پەیامەکەی حەگەی پێغەمبەر بوون کە یەزدانی پەروەردگاریان ناردبووی، گەلیش لەبەردەم یەزدان ترسان. |
13 Then spake Haggai the messenger of Yahweh, in the message of Yahweh, to the people saying, —I, am with you, Declareth Yahweh.
| ئینجا حەگەی نێردراوی یەزدان پەیامەکەی یەزدانی بە هەموو گەل ڕاگەیاند و گوتی: «یەزدان دەفەرموێت، من لەگەڵتاندام.» |
14 Thus did Yahweh, stir up—the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, pasha of Judah, and the spirit of Jehoshua son of Jehozadak the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people, —and they came in and did service in the house of Yahweh of hosts their God:
| ئینجا یەزدان ڕۆحی زروبابلی کوڕی شەئەلتیێلی فەرمانڕەوای یەهودای هەژاند لەگەڵ ڕۆحی یەشوعی کوڕی یەهۆچاداقی سەرۆک کاهین و ڕۆحی هەموو پاشماوەی گەل، جا هاتن و کارەکەی ماڵی یەزدانی سوپاسالاری خودای خۆیان ئەنجام دا، |
15 on the twenty-fourth day of the month, in the sixth month, —in the second year of Darius the king.
| لە بیست و چواری شەشی ساڵی دووەمی داریوشی پاشا. |
