< Galatians 5 >

1 With her freedom, Christ hath made you, free. Stand fast, therefore, and do not, again, with a yoke of servitude, be held fast!
Zalênna ei nei chu, Khrista han mi mojôk zoi! Hanchu zalên mingei ang takin inding det ungla nin theiin suok achang nôk rangin inphal khâi no roi.
2 See! I, Paul, say unto you—if ye be getting circumcised, Christ will profit you, nothing.
Rangâi roi! keima Paul'n nin kôm ki ti ani, sertan rangin nin inphalin chu Khrista hah ninta rangin ite asena om tet loi nîng a tih.
3 Yea, I bear solemn witness again, unto every man getting circumcised, —that he is, a debtor, to do, the whole law.
Sertan ngei ngân chu balam chong murdi jôm ranga nuom an ni iti ki min riet nôk.
4 Ye have been set aside from Christ, ye who, by law, are to be declared righteous, —out of his favour, ye have fallen;
Balam jôm sika Pathien kôma adik inchang abôk ngei, Khrista leh nin insen zoia, Pathien moroina pêntieng han nin om ani.
5 For, we, in Spirit, by faith, for a hope of righteousness, are ardently waiting, —
Keini rangin chu, kin taksônnân Pathien Ratha sinthotheina jârin Pathien kôm adik inchang kin tih iti kin sabei ani.
6 For, in Christ [Jesus], neither, circumcision, availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith, through love, energising.
Khrista Jisua leh inzomna han chu sertan khom, sertanloi khom ite ateina ommak, lungkhamna sika taksôna sin vai asêna aom ani.
7 Ye were running well: —who hath hindered you, that, by truth, ye are not to be persuaded?
Nin tho minsa sabak! chongdik hah nin jôm loina rangin tumo nangni akhap? Inmo nangni a methêm.
8 The persuasion, [is] not of him that calleth you: —
Mahi chu nangni koipu Pathien renga chu nitet mak.
9 A little leaven, leaveneth, the whole lump.
An ti anghan, “Chol hâr chînte hin vâipôl pumpui athoi zit ngâi.”
10 I, am persuaded regarding you, in the Lord—that, for nothing else, ye will have any regard; but, he that is troubling you, shall bear the sentence, —whosoever he may be.
Aniatachu, nangni ka la taksôn tit Pumapa ei ringna ân zomna sikin mindonna dang uol nei no tunui ti ka sabei; hanchu, nangni minjêlpu ha chu i-anga mi nikhomsenla, Pathien'n dûkmintong a tih.
11 I, however, brethren—if, circumcision, I yet proclaim, why am I yet persecuted? After all, the stumbling-block of the cross hath been set aside.
Ka malngei keiman sertan anâng tiin lei misîr ngâi inlang, ithomo dûk ko tong ranga? Ma anghan nisenla, khros chong ki misîr hin intakna suok no nih.
12 Oh! that they would even leave off in dismay, who are unsettling you!
Nangni minjêl kai chu sertan vai ni loiin, ma anghan tho lilia rese ngei anthenin tanpit rese ngei ku nuom ani.
13 For, ye, on a footing of freedom, were called, brethren, —only, [turn] not your freedom into an occasion to the flesh, but, by means of your love, be serving one another;
Ka malngei, nangni chu zalên ranga koi nin ni. Aniatachu nin zalênna hah nin taksa mulungbôkngei rangin zoranchumin mang no roi. Manêkin, in lungkham inlômin sintho insan inlôm roi.
14 For, the whole law, in one word, is summed up—[namely] in this, —Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself.
“Nangma nên lungkham anghan nu bungmingei lungkham roh” iti chong hin Balam pumpui chongpêk inkhatin a kaikhôm let ani.
15 If, however, one another, ye bite and devour, take heed lest, by one another, ye be consumed!
Aniatachu, ramsa anghan nin inpetta, nin insâk inlôm duoiin chu, nin inmang let loina rangin indîn roi.
16 I say, moreover—by Spirit, be walking, and, fleshly coveting, ye will in nowise fulfil;
Ki ti chu mahih ani; ratha'n nin ringnun ruoi rese, hanchu, miriem nina mulungbôkngei hah nin jôm loi rang ani.
17 For, the flesh, coveted against the Spirit, but, the Spirit, against the flesh, —for, these, unto one another, are opposed, lest, whatsoever things ye chance to desire, these, ye should be doing!
Ei miriem nina mulungbôk hah ratha mulungbôkin a doi ngâia, ratha mulungbôk khom miriem nina mulungbôkin adoi ngâi. Ma ngei inik hah râl an ni. Masikin nin sin tho nuomngei hah nin tho theiloina ani.
18 And, if, by Spirit, ye are being led, ye are not under law.
Ratha'n nangni a ruoia anin chu Balam nuoia ommak chei.
19 Manifest, however, are the works of the flesh, which, indeed, are—fornication, impurity, wantonness,
Miriem nina sintho ngei chu ânlang-iem. Mangei hah inditnasaloingei, inthiengloina ngei, hurna ngei,
20 idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, factions, divisions, parties,
mirimil biekna ngei, dôi theina ngei. Mingei râl inchangin an indoia, an innarsaa, an ningathika an inmumâka. Pâl dang le lôm dangin an inkêm ngâi.
21 envyings, drunkenness, revellings; —and such things as these: as to which I forewarn you, even as I have forewarned you, —that, they who such things as these do practise, shall not inherit, God’s kingdom.
narsana ngei, ju inrûina ngei, hurinliekna ngei le ma anga adang dang an tho ngâi. Motona nangni ke lei ril sai anghan atûn khom nangni ki ril nôk, ma anga sin tho ngei hah chu Pathien Rêngram luo tet noni ngei.
22 But, the fruit of the Spirit, is—love, joy, peace, long-suffering, graciousness, goodness, faithfulness,
Aniatachu Ratha mara chu; lungkhamna ngei, râisâna ngei, inngêina ngei, tuongtheina ngei moroina ngei, satna ngei, taksôn omna ngei,
23 meekness, self-control; —against such things as these, there is no law.
rangâiinchîna ngei le indîntheina ngei hih ani. Ma ngei akal rangin balam reng ommak.
24 And, they who are of Christ Jesus, have crucified, the flesh, with its susceptibilities and covetings.
Khrista Jisua mingei chu an miriem nina hah an mindonna le an mulungbôkngei murdi leh an that suozoi.
25 If we live by Spirit, by Spirit, let us also walk.
Ratha'n ringna thar mi pêk zoia; ama'n ei ringnun khom a jêk ngêt rang ani.
26 Let us not become vain-glorious, —one another, challenging, one another, envying.
Inpâka, insuol inkhalin le inkhat le inkhat innarsân ei om tet rang nimak.
