Ezra 1
1 In the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, to fulfil the word of Yahweh from the mouth of Jeremiah, Yahweh aroused the spirit of Cyrus, king of Persia, and he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, moreover also in writing, saying:
Agora, no primeiro ano de Ciro, rei da Pérsia, que a palavra de Javé pela boca de Jeremias poderia ser cumprida, Javé despertou o espírito de Ciro, rei da Pérsia, para que ele fizesse uma proclamação por todo o seu reino, e a colocasse também por escrito, dizendo,
2 Thus, saith Cyrus, king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth, hath Yahweh God of the heavens, given to me, —and, he himself, hath laid charge upon me, to build for him a house, in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
“Ciro, rei da Pérsia, diz: 'Javé, o Deus do céu, me deu todos os reinos da terra; e ordenou-me que lhe construísse uma casa em Jerusalém, que está em Judá.
3 Who is there among you of all his people? His God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, —and build the house of Yahweh God of Israel, (he, is God!) which is in Jerusalem;
Quem quer que esteja entre vós de todo seu povo, que seu Deus esteja com ele, e o deixe subir a Jerusalém, que está em Judá, e construir a casa de Javé, o Deus de Israel (ele é Deus), que está em Jerusalém.
4 And, whosoever is left, of all the places where he doth sojourn, let the men of his place uphold him, with silver and with gold, and with goods and with beasts, —along with a voluntary offering for the house of God, which is in Jerusalem.
Quem ficar, em qualquer lugar onde ele viva, que os homens de seu lugar o ajudem com prata, com ouro, com bens e com animais, além da oferta gratuita pela casa de Deus que está em Jerusalém'”.
5 Then arose the ancestral chiefs of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, —even every one whose spirit God had aroused, to go up to build the house of Yahweh, which was in Jerusalem;
Então os chefes de família dos pais de Judá e Benjamim, os sacerdotes e os levitas, todos cujo espírito Deus tinha agitado para subir, levantaram-se para construir a casa de Iavé, que está em Jerusalém.
6 and, all they who were round about them, strengthened their hands, with utensils of silver, with gold with goods and with beasts, and with precious things, —besides any thing he had volunteered.
Todos aqueles que estavam ao seu redor fortaleceram suas mãos com vasos de prata, com ouro, com mercadorias, com animais e com coisas preciosas, além de tudo o que foi oferecido de bom grado.
7 And, King Cyrus, brought forth the utensils of the house of Yahweh, —which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth from Jerusalem, and put in the house of his gods: —
Também o rei Ciro trouxe os vasos da casa de Iavé, que Nabucodonosor tinha trazido de Jerusalém, e tinha colocado na casa de seus deuses;
8 yea Cyrus king of Persia brought them forth, by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, —and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, a leader of Judah.
até mesmo aqueles, Ciro, rei da Pérsia, trazidos pela mão de Mitredath, o tesoureiro, e os contou para Sesbazar, o príncipe de Judá.
9 And, these, were the numbers of them, —basins of gold, thirty, basins of silver, a thousand, knives, twenty-nine;
Este é o número deles: trinta bandejas de ouro, mil bandejas de prata, vinte e nove facas,
10 bowls of gold, thirty, bowls of silver, of a secondary sort, four hundred and ten, —other utensils, a thousand.
trinta taças de ouro, quatrocentos e dez taças de prata de um segundo tipo, e mil outros recipientes.
11 All the utensils, in gold and silver, were five thousand and four hundred, —the whole, did Sheshbazzar bring up with the upbringing of the exile, out of Babylon unto Jerusalem.
Todos os vasos de ouro e de prata eram cinco mil e quatrocentos. Sheshbazzar trouxe todos eles quando os cativos foram trazidos da Babilônia para Jerusalém.
