< Ezekiel 6 >

1 Then came the word of Yahweh. unto me saying,
Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa sì tọ̀ mí wá wí pé,
2 Son of man, Set thy face against the mountains of Israel, — and prophesy unto them;
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, dojúkọ àwọn òkè Israẹli; kí o sì sọtẹ́lẹ̀ lòdì sí wọn
3 and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh, — Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh- To the mountains and to the hills to the hollows and to the valleys, - Behold me! I, am bringing upon you a sword, And I will destroy your high places;
wí pé, ‘Ẹ̀yin òkè Israẹli, ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa Olódùmarè. Báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí sí ẹ̀yin òkè ńlá àti àwọn òkè kéékèèké, sí àwọn odò ṣíṣàn àti sí àfonífojì, èmi yóò mú idà wa sórí yín, èmí yóò sì pa ibi gíga yín run.
4 And your altars shall be laid waste, And your sun-pillars shall be broken in pieces, — And I will cause your slain to fall before your manufactured gods;
Èmi yóò wó pẹpẹ yín lulẹ̀, èmi yóò sì fọ́ pẹpẹ tùràrí yín túútúú; èmi yóò sì pa àwọn ènìyàn yín síwájú àwọn òrìṣà wọn.
5 And I will lay the carcases of the sons of Israel before their manufactured gods, — And will scatter your bones round about your altars.
Èmi yóò tẹ́ òkú àwọn ará Israẹli síwájú òrìṣà wọn, èmi yóò sì fọ́n egungun wọn yí pẹpẹ wọn ká.
6 In all your dwelling-places, The cities, shall be laid waste, and, The high places, shall be made desolate, To the end your altars may be laid waste and become desolate. And your manufactured gods be broken in pieces and cease, And your sun-pillars be cut down, And your handiworks be abolished.
Gbogbo ibi tí ẹ ń gbé àti àwọn ibi gíga yín ni yóò di píparun, gbogbo pẹpẹ yín ni yóò di ahoro, àwọn òrìṣà yín yóò di fífọ́ túútúú, àwọn pẹpẹ tùràrí yín ni a ó gé lulẹ̀, gbogbo iṣẹ́ yín yóò parẹ́.
7 And the slain shall fall in your midst, So shall ye know that I am Yahweh.
Àwọn ènìyàn yín yóò ṣubú láàrín yín, ẹ ó sì mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.
8 Yet will I leave a remnant: In that ye shall have such as are escaped of the sword throughout the nations, when ye are scattered throughout the lands.
“‘Ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò dá àwọn kan sí nítorí pé díẹ̀ nínú yín ni yóò bọ́ lọ́wọ́ idà, nígbà tí a bá fọ́n yín ká sí gbogbo ilẹ̀ àti orílẹ̀-èdè.
9 Then shall they who have escaped of you remember me, among the nations whither they have been carried captive, In that I have broken their adulterous heart, which hath turned aside from me, And their eyes which have adulterously gone after their manufactured gods, So shall they become loathsome in their own sight, for the wicked things which they have done in all their abominations.
Àwọn ti ó bọ́ nínú yin yóò sì rántí mi láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè níbi tí wọn yóò dìwọ́n ní ìgbèkùn lọ, nítorí wọ́n yóò máa rántí mi bí wọ́n ti bà mí lọ́kàn jẹ́ nípa àgbèrè wọn, tí ó yà wọ́n kúrò lọ́dọ̀ mi àti nípa ojú wọn tí ó ṣàfẹ́rí àwọn òrìṣà. Wọn yóò sì ṣú ara wọn nítorí ìwà ibi tí wọ́n ti hù nípa gbogbo ìríra wọn.
10 Then shall they know that, I, Yahweh, —not in vain, had threatened to bring upon them this calamity.
Wọn yóò sì mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa; àti pé kì í ṣe lásán ni mo ń lérí pé èmi yóò mú ìdààmú bá wọn.
11 Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot and say, Alas! regarding all the wicked abominations of the house of Israel, —in that by sword, by famine, and by pestilence, shall they fall:
“‘Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí, Pàtẹ́wọ́ kí o tún fẹsẹ̀ janlẹ̀, kí o wá kígbe síta pé, “Ó ṣe!” Ilé Israẹli yóò ṣubú nípa idà, ìyàn àti àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn nítorí gbogbo ìwà ìríra búburú tí wọ́n hù. Wọn yóò ṣubú nípa idà àti ìyàn.
12 He that is far off by pestilence, shall die and He that is near by the sword, shall fall, and He that is left and is besieged by the famine, shall die; Thus will I make an end of mine indignation against them.
Ẹni tó wà lókèèrè yóò kú pẹ̀lú àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn, àti ẹni tó wà nítòsí yóò ṣubú pẹ̀lú idà, ìyàn ni yóò pa ẹni tó bá ṣẹ́kù sílẹ̀. Báyìí ni èmi yóò ṣe mú ìbínú gbígbóná mi wá sórí wọn.
13 So shall ye know that I, am Yahweh, In that their slain are in the midst of their manufactured gods, on every side of their altars, — Upon every high hill In all the tops of the mountains and Under every green tree and Under every tangled oak, The place where they offered a satisfying odour to all their manufactured gods.
Wọn yóò sì mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa, nígbà tí òkú àwọn ènìyàn wọn bá wà níbẹ̀ láàrín òrìṣà wọn yí pẹpẹ wọn ká, lórí àwọn òkè gíga gbogbo, àti lórí góńgó òkè àti lábẹ́ igi tútù àti lábẹ́ igi óákù, níbi tí wọ́n ti ń fi tùràrí olóòórùn dídùn rú ẹbọ sí gbogbo òrìṣà wọn.
14 Thus will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land a greater waste and devastation than the desert toward Diblah throughout all their dwelling-places, - And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
Èmi yóò na ọwọ́ mi jáde sí wọn láti mú kí ilẹ̀ náà ṣòfò, kí ó sì dahoro dé aṣálẹ̀ ìhà Dibila—ní gbogbo ibùgbé wọn. Nígbà náà ni wọn yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.’”
