Ezekiel 4
1 Thou therefore O son of man Take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, —and portray thereon a city, even Jerusalem.
১কিন্তু তুমি, মানুষের সন্তান, তোমার জন্য একটা ইট নাও এবং তোমার সামনে রাখ, তারপর তার ওপরে যিরুশালেম শহরের ছবি আঁক।
2 Then shalt thou lay siege against it And build up against it a siege-wall And cast up against it, a mound, — And set against it camps, And place against it battering-rams, round about.
২তারপর তার বিরুদ্ধে অবরোধ রাখ, এর বিরুদ্ধে দুর্গ তৈরী কর, এর বিরুদ্ধে গর্জন করে হামলা সৃষ্টি কর এবং এর চারপাশে শিবির স্থাপন কর, চারদিকে ফুটো করা যন্ত্র রাখ।
3 Thou, therefore take thee a pan of iron, and set it for a wall of iron, between thee and the city, —then shalt thou direct thy face against it and it shall come into siege and thou shalt lay siege to it, a sign, shall it be to the house of Israel.
৩এবং তুমি একটা লোহার পাত্র নাও এবং এটা ব্যবহার কর তোমার ও শহরের মাঝখানে লোহার প্রাচীরের মত, তোমার মুখ তার এবং শহরের দিকে রাখ, তাতে তা অবরোধ হবে। তাই অবরোধ কর, এটা ইস্রায়েল কুলের জন্য চিহ্নস্বরূপ হবে।
4 Thou, therefore lie thou on thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it, — during the number of the days which thou shalt lie thereon, shalt thou bear their punishment.
৪তারপর তুমি বাঁদিকে শোবে এবং ইস্রায়েল কুলের পাপ তোমার নিজের ওপরে রাখ; তুমি তাদের পাপ কিছু দিনের র জন্য বহন করবে এবং তুমি ইস্রায়েল কুলের বিরদ্ধে থাকবে।
5 I therefore have appointed thee the years of their punishment, by the number of days a hundred and ninety days, —so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
৫আমি নিজে তোমাকে আরোপক করছি একদিন তুমি তাদের প্রতি বছরের শাস্তি উপস্থাপন করবে: তিনশো নব্বই দিন এভাবে তুমি ইস্রায়েল কুলের পাপ বহন করবে।
6 And when thou hast ended these, then shalt thou lie, on thy right side. a second time, and shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah, — forty days, one day for each year, have I appointed thee.
৬যখন তুমি এই সব দিন গুলো শেষ করবে, তখন দ্বিতীয়বার তোমার ডানদিকে শোবে, কারণ তুমি যিহূদা-কুলের পাপ বহন করবে চল্লিশ দিনের র জন্য; এক এক বৎসরের জন্য এক এক দিন তোমার জন্য রাখলাম।
7 Thus then unto the siege of Jerusalem, shalt thou direct thy face, with thine arm made bare, —so shalt thou prophesy against it.
৭তুমি তোমার মুখ যিরুশালেমের অবরোধের দিকে রাখবে, নিজের হাত খোলা রাখবে ও তার বিরুদ্ধে ভাববাণী করবে।
8 And lo! I have laid upon thee-bands, —and thou shalt not turn thee from thy one side to thine other, until thou have ended the days of thy siege.
৮আর দেখ, আমি দড়ি দিয়ে তোমাকে বাঁধবো, যাতে তুমি এক দিক থেকে অন্য দিকে ঘুরতে না পারো যতদিন না তোমার অবরোধের দিন শেষ না হয়।
9 Thou, therefore, take thee wheat and barley and peas and lentils and millet and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make them ready for thee as bread, —during the number of days which thou art lying on thy side. a hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat it;
৯তুমি নিজের কাছে গম, যব, মটরশুটি, মসুরি, কঙ্গু ও জনার নিয়ে একটা পাত্রে রাখ এবং তা দিয়ে রুটি তৈরী কর তোমার জন্য; যত দিন পাশে শোবে। কারণ তিনশো নব্বই দিন তুমি তা খাবে!
10 and thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight twenty shekels a day, — from time to time, shalt thou eat it;
১০এ গুলো হবে তোমার খাবার যা তুমি খাবে: প্রতিদিন কুড়ি তোলা ওজন। তুমি বিশেষ বিশেষ দিনের তা খাবে।
11 and water by measure, shalt thou drink the sixth part of a hin, -from time to time shalt thou drink;
১১এবং তুমি জল পান করবে, পরিমাণমত, হিনের ষষ্ঠাংস মত। দিনের দিনের এটা পান করবে।
12 and as a barley cake, shalt thou eat it, —and the same with dung proceeding from man, shalt thou bake, before their eyes.
১২তুমি এটা খাবে যবের পিঠের মত তাদের সামনে এটা সেঁকবে মানুষের মলের মত।
13 Then said Yahweh, In like manner, shall the sons of Israel eat their bread defiled, —among the nations whither I will drive them.
১৩কারণ সদাপ্রভু বলেন, “এটার মানে যে রুটি ইস্রায়েলের লোকেরা খাবে তা অশুচি, যেখানে আমি জাতিদের মধ্যে থেকে তাদের তাড়িয়ে দেব।”
14 Then said, I, Ah! My Lord. Yahweh, lo! my person, hath not been defiled: neither of what hath died of itself nor of what hath been torn in pieces: have I eaten, from my youthful days even unto now, neither hath come into my mouth the flesh of a foul thing.
১৪কিন্তু আমি বললাম, “হায়, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু, আমার আত্মা কখনো অশুচি হয়নি; আমি ছোটো বেলা থেকে এখনো পর্যন্ত মরা কিংবা পশুদের দ্বারা মৃত কোনো কিছু খায়নি, নোংরা মাংস কখনও আমার মুখে ঢোকেনি।”
15 So then he said unto me, See I have granted thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, —and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereupon.
১৫তাই তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “দেখ, আমি মানুষের মলের বদলে তোমাকে গরুর গোবর দিলাম, যাতে গরুর গোবর দিয়ে নিজের রুটি তৈরী করতে পারো।”
16 And he said unto me, Son of man Behold me! breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, So shall they eat bread by weight and with anxious care, And water by measure, and in astonishment, shall they drink:
১৬তিনি আমাকে আরো বললেন, “মানুষের সন্তান দেখ, আমি যিরুশালেমে রুটির লাঠি ভাঙছি এবং তারা রুটি খাবে পরিমাণমত ভাবনা সহকারে এবং পরিমাণমত ও কম্পিত হয়ে জল পান করবে।
17 that they may lack bread and water and be astonished one with another, and pine away in their punishment.
১৭কারণ তাদের রুটি ও জলের অভাব হবে, প্রত্যেক মানুষ ভীষণ ভয় পাবে তার ভাইয়ের থেকে এবং তাদের অপরাধের জন্য ক্ষীণ হয়ে যাবে।”
