Ezekiel 30
1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
Και έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ, λέγων,
2 Son of man Prophesy. and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Howl ye. Alas for the day!
Υιέ ανθρώπου, προφήτευσον και ειπέ, Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός. Ολολύζετε, Ουαί, διά την ημέραν.
3 For near, is a day, Yea near, is a day pertaining to Yahweh, A day of cloud, A time of nations, shall it be!
Διότι πλησίον είναι η ημέρα, ναι, η ημέρα του Κυρίου είναι πλησίον, ημέρα νεφώδης· ο καιρός των εθνών θέλει είσθαι.
4 Then shall come a sword into Egypt, And there shall be a pang in Ethiopia When the deadly wounded one falleth in Egypt, - And they take away her multitude, and, her foundations, are broken down.
Και η μάχαιρα θέλει ελθεί, επί την Αίγυπτον και μέγας τρόμος θέλει είσθαι εν τη Αιθιοπία, όταν οι τετραυματισμένοι πέσωσιν εν Αιγύπτω, και θέλουσι λάβει το πλήθος αυτής και θέλουσι καταστρέψει τα θεμέλια αυτής.
5 Ethiopia and Libya and Lydia, and all the mixed multitude and Cub, and the sons of the land of the covenant with them—by the sword, shall they fall.
Αιθίοπες και Λίβυες και Λύδιοι και πάντες οι σύμμικτοι λαοί, και ο Χούβ και οι υιοί της συμμάχου γης, θέλουσι πέσει μετ' αυτών εν μαχαίρα.
6 Thus saith Yahweh, Then shall fall the supporters of Egypt, Then shall come down the pride of her strength, —From Migdol to Seweneh, by the sword shall they fall therein, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.
Ούτω λέγει Κύριος· Θέλουσι πέσει και οι υποστηρίζοντες την Αίγυπτον, και η υπερηφανία της δυνάμεως αυτής θέλει καταβληθή· από Μιγδώλ μέχρι Συήνης θέλουσι πέσει εν αυτή διά μαχαίρας, λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός.
7 So shall they be made desolate in the midst of lands that are desolate, - And: his cities—in the midst of cities that are laid waste, shall be found.
Και θέλουσιν αφανισθή εν μέσω των ηφανισμένων τόπων, και αι πόλεις αυτής θέλουσιν είσθαι εν μέσω των ηρημωμένων πόλεων.
8 So shall they know that, I am Yahweh, - By my setting a fire in Egypt, When all her helpers shall be broken.
Και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, όταν βάλω πυρ εις την Αίγυπτον και συντριφθώσι πάντες οι βοηθούντες αυτήν.
9 In that day, shall messengers go forth from before me making haste, to cause dread unto Ethiopia so confident, - And a pang shall be upon them in the day of Egypt, For lo! it cometh.
Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα θέλουσιν εξέλθει απ' εμού μηνυταί εν πλοίοις, διά να εκπλήξωσι τους αμερίμνους Αιθίοπας· και τρόμος μέγας θέλει επέλθει επ' αυτούς, καθώς εν τη ημέρα της Αιγύπτου· διότι, ιδού, έρχεται.
10 Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, — Therefore will I cause to cease the multitude of Egypt, by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon:
Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Και θέλω απολέσει το πλήθος της Αιγύπτου διά χειρός του Ναβουχοδονόσορ βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος.
11 He, and his people with him the terrible ones of the nations are about to be brought in to destroy the land, - Therefore shall they unsheathe their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain;
Αυτός και ο λαός αυτού μετ' αυτού, οι τρομερώτεροι των εθνών, θέλουσι φερθή διά να αφανίσωσι την γήν· και θέλουσιν εκσπάσει τας ρομφαίας αυτών κατά της Αιγύπτου και γεμίσει την γην από τετραυματισμένων.
12 And I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of wicked one.—and make the land desolate with the fulness thereof, by the hand of foreigners, I, Yahweh! have spoken.
Και θέλω ξηράνει τους ποταμούς και παραδώσει την γην εις χείρας κακών, και θέλω αφανίσει την γην και το πλήρωμα αυτής διά χειρός των ξένων· εγώ ο Κύριος ελάλησα.
13 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Therefore will I destroy the manufactured gods and Cause to cease the worthless goals, out of Noph, And prince out of the land of Egypt, shall none arise any more, - And I will cause fear in the land of Egypt.
Ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Και θέλω καταστρέψει τα ξόανα και εξαλείψει τα είδωλα από Νωφ, και δεν θέλει υπάρχει πλέον άρχων εκ της γης της Αιγύπτου, και θέλω εμβάλει φόβον εις την γην της Αιγύπτου.
14 Then will I bring desolation upon Pathros, and Set a fire in Zoan, and Execute judgments upon No: and
Και θέλω αφανίσει την Παθρώς και βάλει πυρ εις την Τάνιν και εκτελέσει κρίσεις εν Νω.
15 Pour out mine indignation upon Sin the stronghold of Egypt, and Will cut off the multitude of No.
Και θέλω εκχέει τον θυμόν μου επί Σιν την ισχύν της Αιγύπτου, και θέλω εκκόψει το πλήθος της Νω.
16 So will I set a fire in Egypt, Sore anguish shall take Sin. And, No, shall be for rending asunder, And Noph, be in straits every day,
Και θέλω βάλει πυρ εις την Αίγυπτον· η Σιν θέλει λάβει μέγαν τρόμον και η Νω θέλει διασπαραχθή και η Νωφ θέλει είσθαι καθ' ημέραν εν αγωνία.
17 The young men of Aven and Pi-beseth, by the sword, shall fall; And lo! into captivity, shall they themselves wend their way.
Οι νεανίσκοι της Αβήν και της Πι-βεσέθ θέλουσι πέσει εν μαχαίρα, και αύται θέλουσιν υπάγει εις αιχμαλωσίαν.
18 And in Tehaphnehes, hath the day become dark, Because I have broken, there the yoke-bars of Egypt, And there shall be made to cease therein the pride of her strength, — She, a cloud, shall cover her! And her daughters into captivity, shall wend their way.
Και εν Τάφνης η ημέρα θέλει συσκοτάσει, όταν συντρίψω εκεί τα σκήπτρα της Αιγύπτου· και η έπαρσις της δυνάμεως αυτής θέλει παύσει εν αυτή· ταύτην δε, νέφος θέλει σκεπάσει αυτήν, και αι θυγατέρες αυτής θέλουσιν υπάγει εις αιχμαλωσίαν.
19 Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt; And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
Και θέλω εκτελέσει κρίσεις επί την Αίγυπτον· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος.
20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year in the first month on the seventh of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
Και εν τω ενδεκάτω έτει, τω πρώτω μηνί, τη εβδόμη του μηνός, έγεινε λόγος Κυρίου προς εμέ λέγων,
21 Son of man, The arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, have I broken, - And lo! it hath not been bound up-To apply healing remedies To put on a bandage for binding it up. To make it strong to grasp the sword.
Υιέ ανθρώπου, συνέθλασα τον βραχίονα του Φαραώ βασιλέως της Αιγύπτου· και ιδού, δεν θέλει επιδεθή προς θεραπείαν, ώστε να περιτυλίξωσιν αυτόν με επιδέσματα διά να δοθή εις αυτόν δύναμις να κρατή μάχαιραν.
22 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh-Behold me! against Pharaoh king of Egypt, Therefore will I break his arms, That which is strong, and That which is broken, - So will I cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
Διά τούτο ούτω λέγει Κύριος ο Θεός· Ιδού, εγώ είμαι εναντίον του Φαραώ βασιλέως της Αιγύπτου και θέλω συνθλάσει τους βραχίονας αυτού, τον δυνατόν και τον συντεθλασμένον· και θέλω κάμει την μάχαιραν να εκπέση από της χειρός αυτού.
23 And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, — And scatter them throughout the lands;
Και θέλω διασπείρει τους Αιγυπτίους μεταξύ των εθνών και διασκορπίσει αυτούς εις τους τόπους.
24 And will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, And put my sword into his hand, - And will break the arms of Pharaoh, And he shall utter the groans of one thrust through, before him.
Και θέλω ενισχύσει τους βραχίονας του βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος και θέλω δώσει την ρομφαίαν μου εις την χείρα αυτού, τους δε βραχίονας του Φαραώ θέλω συνθλάσει και θέλει στενάξει έμπροσθεν αυτού με στεναγμούς τετραυματισμένου.
25 Yea I will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, But the arms of Pharaoh shall fall, And they shall know that I am Yahweh By my putting my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he shall stretch it out against the land of Egypt.
Τους βραχίονας όμως του βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος θέλω ενισχύσει, οι δε βραχίονες του Φαραώ θέλουσι πέσει· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος, όταν δώσω την ρομφαίαν μου εις την χείρα του βασιλέως της Βαβυλώνος· και θέλει εκτείνει αυτήν επί την γην της Αιγύπτου.
26 So will I disperse the Egyptians among the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
Και θέλω διασπείρει τους Αιγυπτίους μεταξύ των εθνών και διασκορπίσει αυτούς εις τους τόπους· και θέλουσι γνωρίσει ότι εγώ είμαι ο Κύριος.
