Ezekiel 30

1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:

Und es geschah Jehovahs Wort zu mir, sprechend:

2 Son of man Prophesy. and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Howl ye. Alas for the day!

Menschensohn, weissage und sprich: So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Heulet, wehe dem Tag!

3 For near, is a day, Yea near, is a day pertaining to Yahweh, A day of cloud, A time of nations, shall it be!

Denn nahe ist der Tag, und nahe ist der Tag Jehovahs, ein Tag der Wolke, eine Zeit der Völkerschaften wird es sein.

4 Then shall come a sword into Egypt, And there shall be a pang in Ethiopia When the deadly wounded one falleth in Egypt, - And they take away her multitude, and, her foundations, are broken down.

Und kommen wird das Schwert nach Ägypten, und in Kusch wird Pein sein, wenn der Erschlagene in Ägypten fällt, und seine Volksmenge sie fortnehmen und seine Grundfesten umreißen werden.

5 Ethiopia and Libya and Lydia, and all the mixed multitude and Cub, and the sons of the land of the covenant with them—by the sword, shall they fall.

Kusch und Put und Lud, und ganz Ereb und Chub und die Söhne des Landes des Bundes, mit ihnen fallen sie durch das Schwert.

6 Thus saith Yahweh, Then shall fall the supporters of Egypt, Then shall come down the pride of her strength, —From Migdol to Seweneh, by the sword shall they fall therein, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.

So spricht Jehovah: Und es werden fallen, die für Ägypten ein Anhalt waren, und seiner Stärke Stolz wird hinabsinken. Vom Turme von Seveneh werden sie darin fallen durch das Schwert, spricht der Herr Jehovah.

7 So shall they be made desolate in the midst of lands that are desolate, - And: his cities—in the midst of cities that are laid waste, shall be found.

Und sie werden verwüstet sein inmitten der verwüsteten Länder, und ihre Städte werden inmitten der verödeten Städte sein.

8 So shall they know that, I am Yahweh, - By my setting a fire in Egypt, When all her helpers shall be broken.

Und sie werden wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin, wenn Feuer Ich gebe in Ägypten, und alle, die ihm beistanden, zerbrochen werden.

9 In that day, shall messengers go forth from before me making haste, to cause dread unto Ethiopia so confident, - And a pang shall be upon them in the day of Egypt, For lo! it cometh.

An jenem Tage werden Boten von Meinem Angesicht ausgehen auf Fahrzeugen, Kusch, das sichere, aufzuscheuchen, und Pein wird unter ihnen sein, wie an dem Tag Ägyptens, denn siehe, es kommt.

10 Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, — Therefore will I cause to cease the multitude of Egypt, by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon:

So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Und ein Ende mache Ich mit der Volksmenge Ägyptens durch die Hand Nebuchadrezzars, des Königs von Babel.

11 He, and his people with him the terrible ones of the nations are about to be brought in to destroy the land, - Therefore shall they unsheathe their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain;

Er und sein Volk mit ihm, die Trotzigen der Völkerschaften, werden hereingebracht, das Land zu verderben, und ziehen ihre Schwerter gegen die Ägypter und füllen mit Erschlagenen das Land.

12 And I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of wicked one.—and make the land desolate with the fulness thereof, by the hand of foreigners, I, Yahweh! have spoken.

Und Ich lasse die Ströme vertrocknen, und das Land verkaufe Ich in die Hand der Bösen und verwüste das Land und seine Fülle durch die Hand der Fremden. Ich, Jehovah, habe geredet.

13 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Therefore will I destroy the manufactured gods and Cause to cease the worthless goals, out of Noph, And prince out of the land of Egypt, shall none arise any more, - And I will cause fear in the land of Egypt.

So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Und Ich zerstöre die Götzen und mache ein Ende mit den Abgöttern aus Noph, und ein Fürst wird nicht mehr sein vom Lande Ägypten, und Ich gebe Furcht im Lande Ägypten.

14 Then will I bring desolation upon Pathros, and Set a fire in Zoan, and Execute judgments upon No: and

Und will Pathros verwüsten und Feuer in Zoan geben und über No Gerichte halten,

15 Pour out mine indignation upon Sin the stronghold of Egypt, and Will cut off the multitude of No.

Und Meinen Grimm ausschütten über Sin, Ägyptens Stärke, und ausrotten die Volksmenge No,

16 So will I set a fire in Egypt, Sore anguish shall take Sin. And, No, shall be for rending asunder, And Noph, be in straits every day,

Und Feuer gebe Ich in Ägypten, krei-ßend soll Sin kreißen, und No zum Durchbruch kommen, und Noph am Tage bedrängt werden.

17 The young men of Aven and Pi-beseth, by the sword, shall fall; And lo! into captivity, shall they themselves wend their way.

Avens und Pibeseths Jünglinge fallen durch das Schwert, und siehe! sie gehen in Gefangenschaft.

18 And in Tehaphnehes, hath the day become dark, Because I have broken, there the yoke-bars of Egypt, And there shall be made to cease therein the pride of her strength, — She, a cloud, shall cover her! And her daughters into captivity, shall wend their way.

Und in Techaphneches verfinstert sich der Tag, wenn Ich dort breche die Jochhölzer Ägyptens und seiner Stärke Stolz zu Ende kommt; eine Wolke bedeckt dasselbe, und seine Töchter gehen in Gefangenschaft.

19 Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt; And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.

Und Ich halte Gerichte in Ägypten, und sie werden wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin.

20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year in the first month on the seventh of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

Und es geschah im elften Jahr am siebenten des ersten Monats, daß Jehovahs Wort an mich geschah, sprechend:

21 Son of man, The arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, have I broken, - And lo! it hath not been bound up-To apply healing remedies To put on a bandage for binding it up. To make it strong to grasp the sword.

Menschensohn, den Arm Pharaos, des Königs von Ägypten, werde Ich zerbrechen, und siehe, er wird nicht verbunden ihm Heilung zu geben, man legt keinen Verband auf, daß er verbunden werde und erstarke, um das Schwert zu erfassen.

22 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh-Behold me! against Pharaoh king of Egypt, Therefore will I break his arms, That which is strong, and That which is broken, - So will I cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

Darum, so spricht der Herr Jehovah, siehe, Ich bin wider Pharao, Ägyptens König, daß Ich seine Arme zerbreche, den starken und den gebrochenen, und lasse ihm das Schwert aus seiner Hand fallen.

23 And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, — And scatter them throughout the lands;

Und will die Ägypter unter die Völkerschaften zerstreuen und sie zersprengen in die Länder,

24 And will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, And put my sword into his hand, - And will break the arms of Pharaoh, And he shall utter the groans of one thrust through, before him.

Und Ich will stärken die Arme des Königs von Babel und geben Mein Schwert in seine Hand, und zerbrechen die Arme Pharaos, daß er stöhne vor ihm das Stöhnen des Durchbohrten.

25 Yea I will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, But the arms of Pharaoh shall fall, And they shall know that I am Yahweh By my putting my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he shall stretch it out against the land of Egypt.

Und Ich will stärken die Arme des Königs von Babel, und die Arme Pharaos sollen sinken, daß sie wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin, wenn Ich Mein Schwert dem König von Babel in seine Hand gebe, daß er es über Ägyptenland ausstrecke,

26 So will I disperse the Egyptians among the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.

Und Ich zerstreue die Ägypter unter die Völkerschaften und zersprenge sie in die Länder, auf daß sie wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin.
