Ezekiel 30

1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:

Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:

2 Son of man Prophesy. and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Howl ye. Alas for the day!

Du Menschenkind, weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: Heulet (und sprechet): O weh des Tages!

3 For near, is a day, Yea near, is a day pertaining to Yahweh, A day of cloud, A time of nations, shall it be!

Denn der Tag ist nahe, ja, des HERRN Tag ist nahe, ein finsterer Tag; die Zeit ist da, daß die Heiden kommen sollen.

4 Then shall come a sword into Egypt, And there shall be a pang in Ethiopia When the deadly wounded one falleth in Egypt, - And they take away her multitude, and, her foundations, are broken down.

Und das Schwert soll über Ägypten kommen, und Mohrenland muß erschrecken, wenn die Erschlagenen in Ägypten fallen werden, und ihr Volk weggeführet und ihre Grundfesten umgerissen werden.

5 Ethiopia and Libya and Lydia, and all the mixed multitude and Cub, and the sons of the land of the covenant with them—by the sword, shall they fall.

Mohrenland und Libyen und Lydien mit allerlei Pöbel und Chub und die aus dem Lande des Bundes sind, sollen samt ihnen durchs Schwert fallen.

6 Thus saith Yahweh, Then shall fall the supporters of Egypt, Then shall come down the pride of her strength, —From Migdol to Seweneh, by the sword shall they fall therein, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.

So spricht der HERR: Die Schutzherren Ägyptens müssen fallen, und die Hoffart ihrer Macht muß herunter; von dem Turm zu Syene an sollen sie durchs Schwert fallen, spricht der HERR HERR,

7 So shall they be made desolate in the midst of lands that are desolate, - And: his cities—in the midst of cities that are laid waste, shall be found.

und sollen, wie ihre wüste Grenze, wüst werden, und ihre Städte unter andern wüsten Städten wüst liegen,

8 So shall they know that, I am Yahweh, - By my setting a fire in Egypt, When all her helpers shall be broken.

daß sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei, wenn ich ein Feuer in Ägypten mache, daß alle, die ihnen helfen, zerstöret werden.

9 In that day, shall messengers go forth from before me making haste, to cause dread unto Ethiopia so confident, - And a pang shall be upon them in the day of Egypt, For lo! it cometh.

Zur selben Zeit werden Boten von mir ausziehen in Schiffen, Mohrenland zu schrecken, das jetzt so sicher ist, und wird ein Schrecken unter ihnen sein, gleichwie es Ägypten ging, da ihre Zeit kam; denn siehe, es kommt gewißlich.

10 Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, — Therefore will I cause to cease the multitude of Egypt, by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon:

So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will die Menge in Ägypten wegräumen durch Nebukadnezar, den König zu Babel.

11 He, and his people with him the terrible ones of the nations are about to be brought in to destroy the land, - Therefore shall they unsheathe their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain;

Denn er und sein Volk mit ihm, samt den Tyrannen der Heiden, sind herzugebracht, das Land zu verderben, und werden ihre Schwerter ausziehen wider Ägypten, daß das Land allenthalben voll Erschlagener liege.

12 And I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of wicked one.—and make the land desolate with the fulness thereof, by the hand of foreigners, I, Yahweh! have spoken.

Und ich will die Wasserströme trocken machen und das Land bösen Leuten verkaufen und will das Land, und was drinnen ist, durch Fremde verwüsten. Ich, der HERR, hab es geredet.

13 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Therefore will I destroy the manufactured gods and Cause to cease the worthless goals, out of Noph, And prince out of the land of Egypt, shall none arise any more, - And I will cause fear in the land of Egypt.

So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will die Götzen zu Noph ausrotten und die Abgötter vertilgen, und Ägypten soll keinen Fürsten mehr haben; und will ein Schrecken in Ägyptenland schicken.

14 Then will I bring desolation upon Pathros, and Set a fire in Zoan, and Execute judgments upon No: and

Ich will Pathros wüst machen und ein Feuer zu Zoan anzünden und das Recht über No gehen lassen.

15 Pour out mine indignation upon Sin the stronghold of Egypt, and Will cut off the multitude of No.

Ich will meinen Grimm ausschütten über Sin, welche ist eine Festung Ägyptens, und will die Menge zu No ausrotten.

16 So will I set a fire in Egypt, Sore anguish shall take Sin. And, No, shall be for rending asunder, And Noph, be in straits every day,

Ich will ein Feuer in Ägypten anzünden, und Sin soll angst und bange werden; und No soll zerrissen und Noph täglich geängstet werden.

17 The young men of Aven and Pi-beseth, by the sword, shall fall; And lo! into captivity, shall they themselves wend their way.

Die junge Mannschaft zu On und Bubasto sollen durchs Schwert fallen, und die Weiber gefangen weggeführet werden.

18 And in Tehaphnehes, hath the day become dark, Because I have broken, there the yoke-bars of Egypt, And there shall be made to cease therein the pride of her strength, — She, a cloud, shall cover her! And her daughters into captivity, shall wend their way.

Tachpanhes wird einen finstern Tag haben, wenn ich das Joch Ägyptens schlagen werde, daß die Hoffart ihrer Macht darinnen ein Ende habe; sie wird mit Wolken bedeckt werden, und ihre Töchter werden gefangen weggeführet werden.

19 Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt; And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.

Und ich will das Recht über Ägypten gehen lassen, daß sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei.

20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year in the first month on the seventh of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

Und es begab sich im elften Jahr, am siebenten Tage des ersten Monden, geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:

21 Son of man, The arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, have I broken, - And lo! it hath not been bound up-To apply healing remedies To put on a bandage for binding it up. To make it strong to grasp the sword.

Du Menschenkind, ich will den Arm Pharaos, des Königs in Ägypten, zerbrechen; und siehe, er soll nicht verbunden werden, daß er heilen möge, noch mit Binden zugebunden werden, daß er stark werde und ein Schwert fassen könne.

22 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh-Behold me! against Pharaoh king of Egypt, Therefore will I break his arms, That which is strong, and That which is broken, - So will I cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Siehe, ich will an Pharao, den König in Ägypten, und will seine Arme zerbrechen, beide, den starken und den schwachen, daß ihm das Schwert aus seiner Hand entfallen muß.

23 And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, — And scatter them throughout the lands;

Und will die Ägypter unter die Heiden zerstreuen und in die Länder verjagen.

24 And will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, And put my sword into his hand, - And will break the arms of Pharaoh, And he shall utter the groans of one thrust through, before him.

Aber die Arme des Königs zu Babel will ich stärken und ihm mein Schwert in seine Hand geben; und will die Arme Pharaos zerbrechen, daß er vor ihm winseln soll wie ein tödlich Verwundeter.

25 Yea I will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, But the arms of Pharaoh shall fall, And they shall know that I am Yahweh By my putting my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he shall stretch it out against the land of Egypt.

Ja, ich will die Arme des Königs zu Babel stärken, daß die Arme Pharaos dahinfallen, auf daß sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei, wenn ich mein Schwert dem Könige zu Babel in die Hand gebe, daß er's über Ägyptenland zücke,

26 So will I disperse the Egyptians among the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.

und ich die Ägypter unter die Heiden zerstreue und in die Länder verjage, daß sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
