Exodus 30
1 And thou shalt make an altar, for burning incense, of acacia wood, shalt thou make it:
Ngươi cũng hãy đóng một cái bàn thờ bằng cây si-tim, để xông hương.
2 a cubit, the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof four square, shall it be, —and two cubits, the height thereof, of the same, [shall be] the horns thereof,
Mặt bàn sẽ vuông, bề dài một thước, bề ngang một thước, và bề cao hai thước; bàn thờ sẽ có bốn sừng ló ra.
3 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof, -and thou shalt make to it a border of gold round about.
Ngươi hãy bọc vàng ròng trên mặt, bốn cạnh chung quanh và các sừng; còn tứ vi chạy đường viền vàng.
4 And, two rings of gold, shalt thou make to it, under the border thereof upon the two corners thereof, shalt thou make them on the two sides thereof, —so shall they become receptacles for the staves, to lift it therewith.
Dưới đường viền đó, nơi hai bên, hãy làm hai cái khoen bằng vàng, để xỏ đòn dùng đặng khiêng.
5 And thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, —and overlay them with gold.
Hãy chuốt đòn khiêng bằng cây si-tim, bọc vàng.
6 And thou shalt place it before the veil, which is by the ark of the testimony, —before the propitiatory which is upon the testimony, where I will meet thee.
Ngươi sẽ để bàn thờ đó trước bức màn che hòm bảng chứng đối cùng nắp thi ân trên hòm, là nơi ta sẽ gặp ngươi.
7 And Aaron shall burn thereon fragrant incense, —morning by morning, when he trimmeth the lamps, shall he burn it;
Mỗi buổi sớm mai, khi A-rôn làm đèn, sẽ xông hương tại nơi đó.
8 and, when Aaron lighteth the lamps, between the evenings, shall he burn it, —a continual incense before Yahweh, to your generations.
Vào lúc chiều tối, khi A-rôn thắp đèn, cũng sẽ xông hương: ấy là một thứ hương phải xông trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va luôn luôn, trải qua các đời.
9 Ye shall not cause to ascend thereupon strange incense, nor an ascending-sacrifice, nor a meal-offering, —and a drink offering, shall ye not pour out thereupon.
Trên bàn thờ nầy chớ xông hương lạ, hoặc dâng của lễ thiêu, của lễ chay hay là lễ quán nào hết.
10 But Aaron shall put a propitiatory-covering upon the horns thereof, once in the year: of the blood of the sin-bearer for propitiatory-coverings, once in the year, shall he put a propitiatory-covering thereupon to your generations, most holy, it is to Yahweh.
Nhưng trải qua các đời, mỗi năm một lần, A-rôn sẽ lấy huyết của con sinh tế chuộc tôi, bôi trên sừng bàn thờ nầy đặng chuộc tội cho nó. Aáy sẽ là một việc rất thánh cho Đức Giê-hô-va.
11 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Đức Giê-hô-va cũng phán cùng Môi-se rằng:
12 When thou takest the sum of the sons of Israel, by their numberings, then shall they give every man a propitiatory-covering for his soul to Yahweh, when they are numbered, —that there may be among them no plague when they are numbered.
Khi nào ngươi điểm số dân Y-sơ-ra-ên đặng kê sổ, mỗi tên phải nộp tiền đền mạng mình cho Đức Giê-hô-va, hầu cho khỏi mắc tai nạn chi trong khi kê sổ.
13 This, shall they give—every one that passeth over to them that have been numbered—a half-shekel by the shekel of the sanctuary, —the shekel is twenty gerahs—the half-shekel, shall be a heave-offering to Yahweh.
Kẻ nào có tên trong sổ phải nộp nửa siếc-lơ, tùy siếc-lơ của nơi thánh, cân nặng hai mươi ghê-ra; vậy, nửa siếc-lơ, tức là của dâng cho Đức Giê-hô-va.
14 All who pass over to the numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, shall give the heave-offering of Yahweh.
Mọi người có tên vào sổ từ hai mươi tuổi sắp lên sẽ dâng của nầy cho Đức Giê-hô-va.
15 The rich, shall not give more, and the poor, shall not give less, than the half-shekel, —when they give the heave-offering of Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Khi dâng của nầy cho Đức Giê-hô-va đặng đền mạng mình, người giàu không nộp trội, người nghèo không nộp thiếu nửa siếc-lơ.
16 So then thou shalt take the silver for the propitiatory-coverings from the sons of Israel, and shalt expend it upon the service of the tent of meeting, —thus shall it be for the sons of Israel as a memorial before Yahweh, to put a propitiatory-covering over your souls.
Vậy, ngươi thâu tiền đền mạng của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, rồi dùng tiền đó vào việc hội mạc; ấy là một kỷ niệm của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va, đặng đền mạng mình.
17 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Đức Giê-hô-va lại phán cùng Môi-se nữa rằng:
18 And thou shalt make a laver of bronze, and its stand of bronze for bathing, —and thou shalt place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and shalt put therein water.
Ngươi hãy làm một cái thùng với chân thùng bằng đồng, đặng rửa mình ở trong, rồi để giữa khoảng của hội mạc và bàn thờ, và đổ nước vào.
19 So shall Aaron and his sons bathe thereat, —their hands, and their feet.
A-rôn cùng các con trai người sẽ rửa tay và chân mình ở trong.
20 When they enter the tent of meeting, they shall bathe with water so shall they not die, —or when they approach unto the altar to minister, to burn as incense an altar-flame to Yahweh:
Khi họ vào hội mạc sẽ lấy nước rửa mình, hầu cho họ khỏi chết; và khi lại gần bàn thờ đặng phụng sự, tức là xông của lễ dùng lửa dâng cho Đức Giê-hô-va, họ cũng phải giữ như vậy.
21 so then they shall bathe their hands and their feet and shall not die, —and it shall be to them an age-abiding statute, to him and to his seed to their generations.
Thế thì, họ hãy rửa tay và chân, hầu cho khỏi chết. Aáy là một lệ đời đời cho A-rôn, cùng dòng dõi người trải qua các đời.
22 Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
Đức Giê-hô-va lại phán cùng Môi-se rằng:
23 Thou, therefore, take to thee—principal spices, —self-flowing myrrh, five hundred, and fragrant cinnamon, half as much, two hundred and fifty, and, fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;
Hãy góp các hương liệu tốt nhất: một dược nước năm trăm siếc-lơ; hương nhục quế phân nửa số đó, tức là hai trăm rưỡi; hương xương bồ hai trăm rưỡi;
24 and, cassia, five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, —and, oil olive, a hin.
quế bì năm trăm, đều theo siếc-lơ nơi thánh, và một hin dầu ô-li-ve.
25 And thou shalt make it an oil for holy anointing, a compounded perfume the work of a perfumer, —an oil for holy anointing, shall it be.
Ngươi hãy lấy các hương liệu đó theo phép hòa hương, chế ra một thứ dầu thơm dùng làm dầu xức thánh.
26 And thou shalt anoint therewith the tent of meeting, —and the ark of the testimony;
Đoạn, lấy xức cho hội mạc cùng hòm bảng chứng,
27 and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand, and its utensils, —and the incense altar,
bàn thờ cùng các đồ phụ tùng, chân đèn cùng các đồ phụ tùng, bàn thờ xông hương,
28 and the altar for the ascending-sacrifice, and all its utensils, -and the laver, and its stand.
bàn thờ của lễ thiêu cùng các đồ phụ tùng, cái thùng và chân thùng.
29 So shalt thou hallow them, and they shall be most holy, —whosoever toucheth them, shall be holy.
Aáy vậy, ngươi sẽ biệt các vật nầy riêng ra thánh, hầu cho làm rất thánh, hễ món chi đụng đến, đều sẽ được nên thánh.
30 Aaron also, and his sons, shalt thou anoint, —so shalt thou hallow them to minister as priests unto me.
Ngươi cũng hãy xức dầu cho A-rôn cùng các con trai người, biệt họ riêng ra thánh, để làm chức tế lễ trước mặt ta.
31 And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, An oil for holy anointing, shall this be to me, to your generations.
Lại hãy nói cùng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Về phần ta, dầu nầy sẽ là dầu xức thánh trải qua mọi đời các ngươi.
32 Upon the flesh of a common man, shall it not be poured, and according to the proportions thereof, shall ye not make any like it, —holy, it is, holy, shall it be to you.
Chớ nên đổ trên xác thịt loài người, và cũng đừng làm dầu nào khác theo phép hòa hương đó; dầu nầy là thánh, cũng sẽ thánh cho các ngươi.
33 Whosoever compoundeth any like it, and whosoever bestoweth thereof upon a stranger, shall be cut off from among his people.
Hễ ai chế một thứ hòa hương giống như vậy, và đem rưới trên mình người ngoại bang, sẽ bị truất khỏi vòng dân sự.
34 Then said Yahweh unto Moses—Take to thee aromatic spices stacte and onycha, and galbanum, —aromatic spices, and pure frankincense, —weight for weight, shall it be.
Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Môi-se nữa rằng: Hãy lấy các hương liệu, tức tô hiệp hương, loa yểm hương, phong chi hương, cùng thanh nhũ hương, mỗi thứ bằng nhau,
35 And thou shalt make of it an incense, a perfume the work of a perfumer, —salted, pure, holy.
theo phép hòa hương, chế ra một thứ hương, mặn, trong và thánh.
36 And thou shalt beat some of it to powder, and place thereof before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, where I am to meet with thee, —most holy, shall it be to you.
Hãy nghiền nó ra bột, rồi để trước hòm bảng chứng trong hội mạc, tức là nơi ta sẽ gặp ngươi: về phần các ngươi, hương nầy sẽ là một vật rất thánh.
37 And the incense which thou shalt make, according to the proportions thereof, ye shall not make for yourselves, —holy, shall it be to thee, to Yahweh.
Còn thứ hương mà ngươi sẽ chế, chớ chế giống như phép hòa hương nầy; ấy là một vật ngươi nên biệt riêng ra thánh cho Đức Giê-hô-va.
38 Whosoever shall make like it, to smell of it shall be cut off from among his people.
Hễ kẻ nào làm giống y như vậy đặng ngửi mùi, sẽ bị truất khỏi vòng dân sự.
