< Deuteronomy 34 >

1 So then Moses went up, from the waste plains of Moab into Mount Nebo, the head of Pisgah, which is over against Jericho, —and Yahweh showed him all the land—even Gilead as far as Dan;
Thuutha wa ũguo Musa akĩambata kĩrĩma kĩa Nebo oimĩte werũ-inĩ ũrĩa mwaraganu wa Moabi, agĩkinya gacũmbĩrĩ ka Pisiga, kũngʼethera Jeriko. Arĩ hau, Jehova akĩmuonia bũrũri wothe wa Kaanani, kuuma Gileadi nginya Dani,
2 and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, —and all the land of Judah, as far as the hinder sea;
na Nafitali guothe, na bũrũri wa Efiraimu na wa Manase, na bũrũri wothe wa Juda wothe nginya iria-inĩ rĩa mwena wa ithũĩro,
3 and the South, —and the circuit of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees as far as Zoar.
na akĩmuonia kũu Negevu na rũgongo ruothe kuuma Gĩtuamba kĩa Jeriko, na Itũũra inene rĩa Mĩkĩndũ, gũthiĩ o nginya Zoari.
4 And Yahweh said unto him—This, is the land which I sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed, will I give it. I have let thee see with thine own eyes, But thither, shalt thou not pass over.
Ningĩ Jehova akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Ũyũ nĩguo bũrũri ũrĩa nderĩire Iburahĩmu, na Isaaka na Jakubu na mwĩhĩtwa rĩrĩa ndoigire atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩngaũhe njiaro cianyu.’ Nĩndareke ũwone na maitho maku, no ndũkũringa ũtoonye kuo.”
5 So Moses, the servant of Yahweh, died there, in the land of Moab, at the bidding of Yahweh;
Nake Musa, ndungata ya Jehova agĩkuĩra kũu Moabi, o ta ũrĩa Jehova oigĩte.
6 and he buried him, in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor, —but no man hath known his burying-place, until this day.
Nake akĩmũthika kũu Moabi gĩtuamba kĩrĩa kĩangʼetheire Bethi-Peori, no nginya ũmũthĩ gũtirĩ mũndũ ũũĩ harĩa mbĩrĩra yake ĩrĩ.
7 Now, Moses, was a hundred and twenty years old, when he died, —his eye had not dimmed, nor had his freshness fled.
Musa aarĩ na ũkũrũ wa mĩaka igana rĩa mĩrongo ĩĩrĩ agĩkua, na maitho make matiorĩtwo nĩ hinya kana akoorwo nĩ hinya wa mwĩrĩ.
8 And the sons of Israel bewailed Moses in the waste plains of Moab thirty days, —then were completed the wailing-days of the mourning for Moses.
Nao andũ a Isiraeli magĩcakaĩra Musa kũu werũ-inĩ ũrĩa mwaraganu wa Moabi ihinda rĩa matukũ mĩrongo ĩtatũ, nginya matukũ ma kũmũrĩrĩra na kũmũcakaĩra magĩthira.
9 But, Joshua, son of Nun, was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him, —so the sons of Israel hearkened unto him, and did, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
Na rĩrĩ, Joshua mũrũ wa Nuni nĩaiyũrĩtwo nĩ roho wa ũũgĩ, tondũ Musa nĩamũigĩrĩire moko make. Nĩ ũndũ ũcio andũ a Isiraeli makĩmũthikĩrĩria, na magĩĩka ũrĩa Jehova aathĩte Musa.
10 And there arose not a prophet any more in Israel, like unto Moses, —whom Yahweh acknowledged, face to face;
Kuuma hĩndĩ ĩyo, gũtirĩ kwagĩa mũnabii ũngĩ ta Musa kũu Isiraeli, ũrĩa Jehova aamenyanĩte nake ũthiũ kwa ũthiũ,
11 by all the signs and the wonders which Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt, —unto Pharaoh and unto all his servants and unto all his land;
12 and by all the firm hand, and by all the great terror which Moses wrought in the sight of all Israel.
Nĩgũkorwo gũtirĩ mũndũ ũrĩ wonania hinya mũnene kana ageeka ciĩko cia kũmakania ta iria Musa eekire maitho-inĩ ma andũ a Isiraeli othe.
