2 Thessalonians 2

1 But we request you, brethren, —in behalf of the Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him,

ਹੇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰਃ, ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯਾਗਮਨੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪੇ (ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸੰਸ੍ਥਿਤਿਞ੍ਚਾਧਿ ਵਯੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਇਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਾਮਹੇ,

2 That ye be not quickly tossed from your mind, nor be put in alarm—either by spirit, or by discourse, or by letter as by us, as that the day of the Lord, hath set in:

ਪ੍ਰਭੇਸ੍ਤਦ੍ ਦਿਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਯੇਣੋਪਸ੍ਥਿਤਮ੍ ਇਤਿ ਯਦਿ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਵਾਚਾ ਵਾ ਪਤ੍ਰੇਣ ਵਾਸ੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਆਦੇਸ਼ੰ ਕਲ੍ਪਯਨ੍ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਗਦਤਿ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਤੇਨ ਚਞ੍ਚਲਮਨਸ ਉਦ੍ਵਿਗ੍ਨਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਨ ਭਵਤ|

3 That no one may cheat, you, in any one respect. Because [that day will not set in] —except the revolt come first, and there he revealed the man of lawlessness, the son of destruction,

ਕੇਨਾਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੇਣ ਕੋ(ਅ)ਪਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਨ ਵਞ੍ਚਯਤੁ ਯਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਦਿਨਾਤ੍ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਧਰ੍ੰਮਲੋਪੇਨੋਪਸ੍ਯਾਤਵ੍ਯੰ,

4 The one who opposeth and exalteth himself on high against every one called God, or an object of worship; so that he, within the sanctuary of God, shall take his seat, showeth himself forth, that he is, God: —

ਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਜਨੋ ਵਿਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਤਾਂ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਵਨ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਦੇਵਾਤ੍ ਪੂਜਨੀਯਵਸ੍ਤੁਸ਼੍ਚੋੰਨੰਸ੍ਯਤੇ ਸ੍ਵਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਮਿਵ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਯਨ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਵਦ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਮਨ੍ਦਿਰ ਉਪਵੇਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਚ ਤੇਨ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਪਾਤ੍ਰੇਣ ਪਾਪਪੁਰੁਸ਼਼ੇਣੋਦੇਤਵ੍ਯੰ|

5 Remember ye not, that, while I was yet with you, these very things, I was telling you?

ਯਦਾਹੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸੰਨਿਧਾਵਾਸੰ ਤਦਾਨੀਮ੍ ਏਤਦ੍ ਅਕਥਯਮਿਤਿ ਯੂਯੰ ਕਿੰ ਨ ਸ੍ਮਰਥ?

6 And, what now restraineth, ye know, to the end he may be revealed in his own fitting time;

ਸਾਮ੍ਪ੍ਰਤੰ ਸ ਯੇਨ ਨਿਵਾਰ੍ੱਯਤੇ ਤਦ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਜਾਨੀਥ, ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਸ੍ਵਸਮਯੇ ਤੇਨੋਦੇਤਵ੍ਯੰ|

7 For, the secret, of lawlessness, already, is inwardly working itself, —only, until, he that restraineth at present, shall be gone, out of the midst:

ਵਿਧਰ੍ੰਮਸ੍ਯ ਨਿਗੂਢੋ ਗੁਣ ਇਦਾਨੀਮਪਿ ਫਲਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯਸ੍ਤੰ ਨਿਵਾਰਯਤਿ ਸੋ(ਅ)ਦ੍ਯਾਪਿ ਦੂਰੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੋ ਨਾਭਵਤ੍|

8 And, then, shall be revealed the lawless one, —whom, the Lord [Jesus], will slay with the Spirit of his mouth, and paralyse with the forthshining of his Presence: —

ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਦੂਰੀਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੇ ਸ ਵਿਧਰ੍ੰਮ੍ਯੁਦੇਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਃ ਸ੍ਵਮੁਖਪਵਨੇਨ ਤੰ ਵਿਧ੍ਵੰਸਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਨਿਜੋਪਸ੍ਥਿਤੇਸ੍ਤੇਜਸਾ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਯਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਚ|

9 Whose, presence, [shall be] according to an inworking of Satan, with all manner of mighty work and signs and wonders of falsehood,

ਸ਼ਯਤਾਨਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਤਿਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨਾਦ੍ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼੍ਯਮਾਨਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵਿਧਾਃ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮਾ ਭ੍ਰਮਿਕਾ ਆਸ਼੍ਚਰ੍ੱਯਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਲਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਣਾਨ੍ਯਧਰ੍ੰਮਜਾਤਾ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵਿਧਪ੍ਰਤਾਰਣਾ ਚ ਤਸ੍ਯੋਪਸ੍ਥਿਤੇਃ ਫਲੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ;

10 And with all manner of deceit of unrighteousness, in them who are destroying themselves, because, the love of the truth, they did not welcome, that they might be saved; —

ਯਤੋ ਹੇਤੋਸ੍ਤੇ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਯੇ ਸਤ੍ਯਧਰ੍ੰਮਸ੍ਯਾਨੁਰਾਗੰ ਨ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤਵਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਕਾਰਣਾਦ੍

11 And, for this cause, God sendeth them an inworking of error, to the end they should believe in the falsehood, —

ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੇਣ ਤਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਭ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਤਿਕਰਮਾਯਾਯਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਿਤਾਯਾਂ ਤੇ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼ਾਵਾਕ੍ਯੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ|

12 In order that should be judged who would not believe in the truth, but were well-pleased with the unrighteousness.

ਯਤੋ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਮਾਨਵਾਃ ਸਤ੍ਯਧਰ੍ੰਮੇ ਨ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸ੍ਯਾਧਰ੍ੰਮੇਣ ਤੁਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤਿ ਤੈਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੈ ਰ੍ਦਣ੍ਡਭਾਜਨੈ ਰ੍ਭਵਿਤਵ੍ਯੰ|

13 But, we, are bound to give thanks unto God continually concerning you, brethren beloved by the Lord, for that God chose you, from the beginning, unto salvation, in sanctification of spirit and belief of truth, —

ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਃ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰਃ, ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਧਨ੍ਯਵਾਦੋ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਦਾ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯੋ ਯਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਆ ਪ੍ਰਥਮਾਦ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਃ ਪਾਵਨੇਨ ਸਤ੍ਯਧਰ੍ੰਮੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸੇਨ ਚ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਵਰੀਤਵਾਨ੍

14 Unto which he called you, through means of our glad-message, unto an acquiring of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ਤਦਰ੍ਥਞ੍ਚਾਸ੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਘੋਸ਼਼ਿਤੇਨ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੇਨ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਆਹੂਯਾਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਤੇਜਸੋ(ਅ)ਧਿਕਾਰਿਣਃ ਕਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|

15 Hence, then, brethren, stand firm, and hold fast the instructions which ye were taught—whether through discourse, or through our letter.

ਅਤੋ ਹੇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰਃ ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਵਾਕ੍ਯੈਃ ਪਤ੍ਰੈਸ਼੍ਚ ਯਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਲਬ੍ਧਵਨ੍ਤਸ੍ਤਾਂ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਸ੍ਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਧਾਰਯਨ੍ਤਃ ਸੁਸ੍ਥਿਰਾ ਭਵਤ|

16 But may, our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, —Who hath loved you, and given you age-abiding consolation and good hope by favour, (aiōnios g166)

ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਤਾਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ਼੍ਚਾਰ੍ਥਤੋ ਯੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਨਿਤ੍ਯਾਞ੍ਚ ਸਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਨਾਮ੍ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੇਣੋੱਤਮਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਾਸ਼ਾਞ੍ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਭ੍ਯੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ (aiōnios g166)

17 Console your hearts, and confirm you in every good work and word!

ਸ ਸ੍ਵਯੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਅਨ੍ਤਃਕਰਣਾਨਿ ਸਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਯਤੁ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸਦ੍ਵਾਕ੍ਯੇ ਸਤ੍ਕਰ੍ੰਮਣਿ ਚ ਸੁਸ੍ਥਿਰੀਕਰੋਤੁ ਚ|
