2 Samuel 9

1 And David said, Is there yet one left unto the house of Saul, —that I may show him lovingkindness, for the sake of, Jonathan?

౧“సౌలు కొడుకు యోనాతానును బట్టి నేను ఏదైనా మేలు చేయడానికి అతని కుటుంబానికి చెందినవారు ఎవరైనా మిగిలి ఉన్నారా?” అని దావీదు అడిగాడు.

2 Now, unto the house of Saul, belonged a servant, whose name, was Ziba, and, when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him—Art, thou, Ziba? And he said—Thy servant!

౨సౌలు కుటుంబానికి సీబా అనే సేవకుడు ఉండేవాడు. దావీదు మనుషులు అతణ్ణి దావీదు దగ్గరికి పిలుచుకు వచ్చారు. దావీదు రాజు “సీబావు నువ్వే కదా” అని అడిగాడు. అతడు “నీ సేవకుడినైన నేనే సీబాను” అన్నాడు.

3 Then said the king—Is there never a man remaining unto the house of Saul, that I may show him the lovingkindness of God? And Ziba said unto the king, There remaineth a son unto Jonathan, lame in his feet.

౩అప్పుడు దావీదు “యెహోవా నాపై దయ చూపించినట్టు నేను మేలు చేయడానికి సౌలు కుటుంబంలో ఒక్కడైనా మిగిలి ఉన్నాడా?” అని అతణ్ణి అడిగాడు. అప్పుడు సీబా “యోనాతానుకు కుంటివాడైన ఒక కొడుకు ఉన్నాడు” అని రాజుకు విన్నవించుకున్నాడు.

4 And the king said to him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Lo! he, is in the house of Machir son of Ammiel, in Lo-debar.

౪“అతడు ఎక్కడ ఉంటున్నాడు?” అని రాజు అడిగాడు. సీబా “అయ్యా, అతడు లోదెబారులో అమ్మీయేలు కొడుకు మాకీరు ఇంట్లో ఉన్నాడు” అని రాజుతో చెప్పాడు.

5 Then sent King David, —and fetched him out of the house of Machir son of Ammiel, from Lo-debar.

౫అప్పుడు రాజైన దావీదు తన మనుషులను పంపి లోదెబారులో ఉన్న అమ్మీయేలు కొడుకు మాకీరు ఇంటి నుండి అతణ్ణి తన దగ్గరికి రప్పించాడు.

6 Now, when Mephibosheth, son of Jonathan, son of Saul, came in unto David, he fell on his face and did homage. And David said, Mephibosheth? And he said, Lo! thy servant.

౬సౌలు కొడుకు యోనాతానుకు పుట్టిన మెఫీబోషెతు దావీదు దగ్గరికి వచ్చి సాగిలపడి నమస్కారం చేశాడు. అప్పుడు దావీదు “మెఫీబోషెతూ” అని అతణ్ణి పిలిచాడు. అతడు “అయ్యా, నీ దాసుణ్ణి. నేను ఇక్కడే ఉన్నాను” అన్నాడు.

7 And David said to him—Do not fear, for I will, indeed shew, thee lovingkindness, for the sake of Jonathan thy father, and will restore unto thee all the land of Saul thy father, —but, thou thyself, shall eat bread at my table, continually.

౭దావీదు “నువ్వు భయపడవద్దు, నీ తండ్రి యోనాతానును బట్టి తప్పక నీకు మేలు కలిగేలా చేసి, నీ తాత సౌలు భూమి మొత్తాన్ని నీకు తిరిగి ఇప్పిస్తాను. ఇంకా నువ్వు జీవించినంత కాలం నా బల్ల దగ్గరే భోజనం చేస్తావు” అని చెప్పాడు.

8 And he did homage, and said—What is thy servant, —that thou hast turned towards such a dead dog as I?

౮అతడు నమస్కరించి “చచ్చిన కుక్కలాంటి నా పట్ల నువ్వు కనికరం చూపించడానికి నీ దాసుణ్ణి నేను ఎంతవాణ్ణి?” అన్నాడు.

9 Then the king called for Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said unto him, —All that pertained unto Saul and unto all his house, have I given unto the son of thy lord:

౯అప్పుడు రాజు సౌలు సేవకుడైన సీబాను పిలిపించి “సౌలు అతని కుటుంబం వారికి గతంలో ఉన్న ఆస్తి మొత్తాన్ని నీ యజమాని యోనాతాను కొడుకుకు తిరిగి ఇప్పించాను.

10 therefore shalt thou till for him the ground, thou, and thy sons, and thy servants, and shalt bring in, so that thy lord’s son may have bread to eat, but, Mephibosheth, thy lord’s son, shall continually eat bread at my table. Now, Ziba, had fifteen sons, and twenty servants.

౧౦కాబట్టి నువ్వు, నీ కొడుకులు, దాసులు అతని కోసం ఆ భూమిని సాగు చెయ్యండి. నీ యజమాని కొడుకు తినేందుకు సరిపోయిన ఆహారం ఆ పంట నుండి తీసుకు రావాలి. నీ యజమాని కుమారుడు మెఫీబోషెతు ఎప్పుడూ నా బల్ల దగ్గరే భోజనం చేస్తాడు” అని చెప్పాడు. సీబాకు పదిహేనుమంది కొడుకులు, ఇరవైమంది సేవకులు ఉన్నారు.

11 Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king shall command his servant, so, will thy servant do, —but, Mephibosheth, is to eat at the table of David, as one of the sons of the king.

౧౧అప్పుడు సీబా “నా యజమానివైన రాజా, నీ దాసుణ్ణి నాకు సెలవిచ్చినట్టు అంతా జరిగిస్తాను” అని రాజుతో చెప్పాడు. అప్పటి నుండి మెఫీబోషెతు రాజకుమారుల్లో ఒకడు అన్నట్టు రాజు బల్ల దగ్గరే భోజనం చేస్తూ వచ్చాడు.

12 Now, Mephibosheth, had a little son, whose name, was Micha. And, all that dwelt in the house of Ziba, were servants unto Mephibosheth.

౧౨మెఫీబోషెతుకు ఒక కొడుకు ఉన్నాడు. అతడు పసివాడు. అతని పేరు మీకా. సీబా కుటుంబం వారంతా మెఫీబోషెతుకు దాసులుగా ఉన్నారు.

13 So, Mephibosheth, dwelt in Jerusalem, for, at the table of the king, continually, had he to eat, —he being lame, in both his feet.

౧౩మెఫీబోషెతు యెరూషలేములో నివసించి కలకాలం రాజు బల్ల దగ్గరే భోజనం చేస్తూ ఉన్నాడు. అతని రెండు కాళ్ళూ కుంటివి.
