2 Chronicles 6
1 Then, said Solomon, —Yahweh, said, that he would make his habitation in thick gloom;
౧అప్పుడు సొలొమోను “గాఢాంధకారంలో నేను నివసిస్తున్నాను అని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చాడు.
2 But, I, have built a house as a home for thee, —A settled place for thee to abide in, for ages.
౨అయితే నువ్వు ఎల్లకాలం నివసించడానికి నిత్యమైన స్థలంగా నేనొక గొప్ప మందిరాన్ని నీ కోసం కట్టించాను” అన్నాడు.
3 And the king turned about his face, and blessed all the convocation of Israel, —while, all the convocation of Israel, was standing;
౩తరువాత రాజు ప్రజల వైపు తిరిగి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమాజం అంతా నిలబడి ఉండగా వారిని దీవించాడు.
4 and he said, Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, who spake with his mouth, unto David my father, -and, with his hand, hath fulfilled, saying:
౪అతడు వారితో “నా తండ్రి దావీదుకు ప్రమాణం చేసి, దాన్ని స్వయంగా నెరవేర్చిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు యెహోవాకు స్తోత్రం కలుగు గాక.
5 From the day I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt, I made choice of no city, out of all the tribes of Israel, for building a house, where my Name might be, —neither made I choice of any man, to be chief ruler over my people Israel:
౫ఆయన ‘నేను నా ప్రజలను ఐగుప్తు దేశంలో నుండి రప్పించిన రోజు మొదలు నా నామం నిలిచి ఉండడానికి ఒక మందిరం కట్టించాలని నేను ఇశ్రాయేలు గోత్రాల్లో ఏ పట్టణాన్నీ ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోలేదు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనే నా ప్రజల మీద అధిపతిగా ఉండడానికి ఏ మనిషినీ నియమించ లేదు.
6 nevertheless I have made choice of Jerusalem, that my Name might be there, —and I have made choice of David, that he might be over my people Israel.
౬ఇప్పుడు నా నామం నిలిచి ఉండడానికి యెరూషలేమునూ, నా ప్రజలు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద అధిపతిగా ఉండడానికి దావీదునూ ఎన్నుకున్నాను’ అని చెప్పాడు.
7 And so it came to pass, that it was near the heart of David my father, —to build a house, to the Name of Yahweh, God of Israel.
౭ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు యెహోవా నామ ఘనత కోసం ఒక మందిరాన్ని కట్టించాలన్నది నా తండ్రి దావీదు హృదయ వాంఛ.
8 Then said Yahweh unto David my father, Because it was near thy heart to build a house for my Name, thou didst well that it was near thy heart:
౮అయితే యెహోవా నా తండ్రితో ‘నా నామ ఘనత కోసం మందిరం కట్టాలన్న నీ ఉద్దేశం మంచిది.
9 Only, thou thyself, must not build the house, —but, thine own son, that proceedeth out of thy loins—he, shall build the house for my Name.
౯కానీ నువ్వు ఆ మందిరాన్ని కట్టడానికి వీలు లేదు. నీకు పుట్టబోయే కుమారుడు నా నామానికి ఆ మందిరం కడతాడు’ అని చెప్పాడు.
10 So then Yahweh hath established his word, which he spake, —and I have been raised up instead of David my father, and have taken my seat upon the throne of Israel, as spake Yahweh, and have built the house to the Name of Yahweh, God of Israel;
౧౦యెహోవా అప్పుడు చెప్పిన తన మాటను ఇప్పుడు నెరవేర్చాడు. యెహోవా సెలవు ప్రకారం నేను నా తండ్రి దావీదు స్థానంలో రాజునై సింహాసనం మీద కూర్చుని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు యెహోవాకు మందిరం కట్టించాను.
11 and have put there, the ark, —wherein is the covenant of Yahweh, —which he solemnised with the sons of Israel.
౧౧ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో యెహోవా చేసిన నిబంధనకు గుర్తుగా ఉన్న మందసాన్ని దానిలో ఉంచాను” అని చెప్పాడు.
12 Then stood he before the altar of Yahweh, in the presence of all the convocation of Israel, —and spread forth his hands;
౧౨తరవాత ఇశ్రాయేలీయులంతా సమావేశమై చూస్తుండగా యెహోవా బలిపీఠం ముందు నిలబడి తన చేతులు చాపి ప్రార్థన చేశాడు.
13 for Solomon had made a platform of bronze, and had set it in the midst of the enclosure, five cubits, the length thereof, and, five cubits, the breadth thereof, and, three cubits, the height thereof, -and he stood thereon, and knelt upon his knees, in the presence of all the convocation of Israel, and spread forth his hands, heavenward;
౧౩సొలొమోను తాను చేయించిన ఐదు మూరల పొడవు, ఐదు మూరల వెడల్పు, మూడు మూరల యెత్తు ఉన్న ఇత్తడి వేదికను ఆవరణంలో పెట్టించాడు. దాని మీద నిలబడి, సమావేశమైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరి ఎదుటా మోకరించి, ఆకాశం వైపు చేతులు చాపి ఇలా ప్రార్థించాడు.
14 and said, O Yahweh! God of Israel, Not like unto thee, is there a god, in the heavens, or throughout the earth, —who keepest Covenant and Lovingkindness for thy servants who are walking before thee with all their heart:
౧౪“యెహోవా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా, హృదయ పూర్వకంగా నిన్ను అనుసరించే నీ భక్తుల పట్ల నీ నిబంధనను నెరవేరుస్తూ కృప చూపే నీలాంటి దేవుడు ఆకాశాల్లో గానీ, భూమి మీద గానీ లేడు.
15 who hast kept, for thy servant David my father, that which thou didst promise him, —in that thou didst promise with thy mouth, and, with thy hand, hast fulfilled, as [it is] this day.
౧౫నీ సేవకుడు, నా తండ్రి అయిన దావీదుతో నువ్వు చేసిన వాగ్దానం నిలబెట్టుకున్నావు. నువ్వు ప్రమాణం చేసి దాన్ని నెరవేర్చావు. ఈ రోజు మేము దాన్ని కళ్ళారా చూస్తున్నాము.
16 Now, therefore, O Yahweh—God of Israel, keep thou, for thy servant David my father, that which thou didst promise him, saying, There shall not be cut off to thee a man, from before me, to sit upon the throne of Israel, if only, thy sons take heed to their way, to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
౧౬‘నువ్వు నడుచుకున్నట్టు నీ కుమారులు కూడా ప్రవర్తించి, నా ధర్మశాస్త్రం ప్రకారం నడుచుకుంటే ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సింహాసనం మీద కూర్చుని పాలించేవాడు నా సన్నిధిలో నీకుండకుండా పోడు’ అని నీవు నీ సేవకుడు, నా తండ్రి అయిన దావీదుతో సెలవిచ్చిన మాటను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా, యెహోవా, దయచేసి నెరవేర్చు.
17 Now, therefore, O Yahweh, God of Israel, -verified be thy promise, which thou didst make unto thy servant David.
౧౭యెహోవా, నువ్వు నీ సేవకుడు దావీదుకిచ్చిన వాగ్దానం ఇప్పుడు స్థిరపడుతుంది గాక.
18 But, in very deed, will God dwell with man on the earth? Lo! the heavens, even the leaven of heavens, cannot contain thee, how much less this house which I have built!
౧౮దేవుడు మనుషులతో కలిసి ఈ భూమిపై నివసిస్తాడా? ఆకాశ మహాకాశాలు నీకు సరిపోవే? నేను కట్టిన ఈ మందిరం సరిపోతుందా?
19 Wilt thou then turn unto the prayer of thy servant and unto his supplication, O Yahweh my God, —to hearken unto the cry and unto the prayer, wherewith thy servant is praying before thee:
౧౯దేవా, యెహోవా, నీ సేవకుడు నీ సన్నిధిలో చేసే ఈ ప్రార్థననూ విన్నపాన్నీ మన్నించు. నీ సేవకుడిని, నేను చేసే ప్రార్థననూ, నా మొర్రనూ ఆలకించు.
20 that thine eyes may be open toward this house, day and night, toward the place of which thou hast said thou wouldst set thy Name there, —to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant may pray towards this place:
౨౦నీ సేవకులు ఈ స్థలం లో చేసే విన్నపాలు వినడానికి, ‘నా నామాన్ని అక్కడ ఉంచుతాను’ అని నువ్వు వాగ్దానం చేసిన స్థలం లో ఉన్న ఈ మందిరం మీద నీ కనుదృష్టి దివారాత్రులు నిలుస్తుంది గాక.
21 wilt thou therefore hearken unto the supplications of thy servant, and thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place, —yea wilt, thou thyself, hear, out of thine own dwelling-place, out of the heavens, and, when thou hearest, then wilt thou forgive?
౨౧నీ సేవకుడు, నీ ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు ఈ మందిరం వైపుకు తిరిగి చేయబోయే ప్రార్థనలు ఆలకించు, అవును, నువ్వు నివసిస్తున్న పరలోకం నుండి ఆలకించి, వారి పాపాలను క్షమించు.
22 If a man shall sin against his neighbour, and there shall be laid upon him an oath, to put him on oath, —and an oath shall come before thine altar in this house,
౨౨ఎవరైనా తన పొరుగువాడి పట్ల తప్పు చేసినప్పుడు అతని చేత ప్రమాణం చేయించడానికి ఈ మందిరంలోని నీ బలిపీఠం ఎదుటికి వచ్చినప్పుడు,
23 then wilt, thou thyself, hear out of the heavens, and act, and judge thy servants, bringing back unto the lawless, to set his way upon his own head, —and justifying the righteous, by giving to him, according to his righteousness?
౨౩నువ్వు పరలోకం నుండి విని, నీ దాసులకు న్యాయం తీర్చు. హాని చేసినవాడి తలపైకి శిక్ష రప్పించు. నీతిపరుని నీతి చొప్పున వాడికి దయచేసి, అతని నీతిని స్థిరపరచు.
24 Or, if thy people Israel be smitten before an enemy, because they have been sinning against thee, —and they turn, and confess thy Name, and pray and make supplication before thee, in this house,
౨౪నీ ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నీ ఎదుట పాపం చేయడం వలన తమ శత్రువులను ఎదిరించి నిలవలేక నీ దగ్గరకి తిరిగి వచ్చి నీ నామాన్ని ఒప్పుకుని, ఈ మందిరంలో నీ సన్నిధిలో ప్రార్థించి వేడుకున్నప్పుడు,
25 then wilt, thou thyself, hear out of the heavens, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, —and bring them back unto the soil, which thou didst give to them and to their fathers?
౨౫పరలోకం నుండి నువ్వు విని, నీ ప్రజలు చేసిన పాపాన్ని క్షమించి, వారికి, వారి పూర్వీకులకు నీవిచ్చిన దేశానికి వారిని మళ్లీ రప్పించు.
26 When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain, because they have been sinning against thee, —and they shall pray towards this place, and shall confess thy Name, from their sin, shall return, because thou hast been afflicting them,
౨౬వారు నీ దృష్టికి పాపం చేయడం వలన ఆకాశం మూసుకు పోయి వర్షం కురవనప్పుడు, వారు ఈ స్థలం లో ప్రార్థన చేసి నీ నామాన్ని ఒప్పుకుని, నువ్వు కలిగించిన బాధలో వారు తమ పాపాలను విడిచిపెట్టి తిరిగితే
27 then wilt, thou thyself, hear [out of] the heavens and forgive the sin of thy servants, and thy people Israel, that thou mayest direct them into the good way, wherein they should walk, —and give rain, upon thy land, which thou hast given unto thy people, for an inheritance?
౨౭పరలోకంలో ఉన్న నువ్వు ఆలకించి, నీ సేవకులు, నీ ప్రజలు అయిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చేసిన పాపాన్ని క్షమించి, వారు నడవాల్సిన మంచి మార్గం వారికి బోధించి, నువ్వు నీ ప్రజలకి స్వాస్థ్యంగా ఇచ్చిన నీ దేశంలో వర్షం కురిపించు.
28 When there shall be, a famine, in the land, when there shall be, a pestilence, —when there shall be, blasting or mildew, locust or caterpillar, —when their enemy shall besiege them in the land at their own gates-whatsoever plague or whatsoever sickness; -
౨౮దేశంలో కరువు, తెగులు కనబడినప్పుడూ అగ్గి తెగులు, బూజు, తగిలినప్పుడూ మిడతలు, చీడపురుగులు దాడి చేసినప్పుడూ, లేదా శత్రువులు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల పట్టణాలను ముట్టడించినప్పుడూ అరిష్టం, వ్యాధి సోకినప్పుడూ
29 whatsoever prayer, whatsoever supplication, which any son of earth may have, or any of thy people Israel, —when any man shall come to know his plague, or his pain, and so he shall spread abroad his hands towards this house—
౨౯ఏ ఒక్కడు గానీ, నీ ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులంతా గానీ హృదయంలో బాధ, కష్టం అనుభవిస్తూ ఉండి, ఈ మందిరం వైపు చేతులు చాపి చేసే విజ్ఞాపనలూ ప్రార్థనలూ నీ నివాస స్థలమైన పరలోకం నుండి నువ్వు ఆలకించి వారిని క్షమించు.
30 then wilt, thou thyself, hear out of the heavens, the settled place of thine abode, and forgive, and grant to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou wilt know, —for, thou thyself alone, knowest the heart of the sons of men:
౩౦మా పూర్వీకులకు నీవిచ్చిన ఈ దేశంలో వారు తమ జీవితకాలమంతా నీపట్ల భయభక్తులు కలిగి
31 to the end they may revere thee, to walk in thy ways, all the days which they shall be living upon the face of the soil, —which thou gavest unto their fathers?
౩౧నీ మార్గాల్లో నడిచేలా వారి హృదయాలను ఎరిగిన నువ్వు వారి ప్రవర్తనకు తగిన ప్రతిఫలం దయచెయ్యి. ఎందుకంటే నీవొక్కడివే మానవుని హృదయాన్ని ఎరిగిన వాడివి.
32 Moreover also, unto the stranger who is not, of thy people Israel, but he shall come in out of a far country—for the sake of thy great Name, and of thy strong hand, and of thine outstretched arm, —and so they shall come in and pray towards this house,
౩౨ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనే నీ ప్రజలకు సంబంధం లేని అన్యులు నీ గొప్ప నామం గూర్చీ నీ బాహుబలం గూర్చీ చాచిన నీ చేతులను గూర్చీ విని, దూరదేశం నుండి ఈ మందిరానికి వచ్చి వేడుకుంటే,
33 then wilt, thou thyself, hear out of the heavens, out of the settled place of thine abode, and do according to all for which the stranger shall cry unto thee, —to the end that all the peoples of the earth may know thy Name, so as to revere thee like thy people Israel, and know that, thy Name, hath been given unto this house, which I have built?
౩౩నీ నివాసమైన పరలోకం నుండి నువ్వు వారి ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించి, ఆ అన్యులు నిన్ను అడిగిన దాన్ని వారికి అనుగ్రహించు. తద్వారా నీ ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తెలుసుకున్నట్టుగా ఈ భూప్రజలంతా నీ నామాన్ని తెలుసుకుని, నీలో భయభక్తులు కలిగి, నేను కట్టిన ఈ మందిరానికి నీ నామం పెట్టావని గ్రహిస్తారు.
34 When thy people shall go forth to war against their enemies, whithersoever thou mayest send them, —and shall pray unto thee in the direction of this city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy Name,
౩౪నీ ప్రజలు నువ్వు పంపిన మార్గంలో తమ శత్రువులతో యుద్ధానికి బయలుదేరి, నువ్వు ఏర్పరచుకున్న ఈ పట్టణం వైపూ నీ నామానికి నేను కట్టించిన ఈ మందిరం వైపూ చూసి వేడుకున్నప్పుడు,
35 then wilt thou hear, out of the heavens, their prayer and their supplication, —and maintain their right.
౩౫పరలోకం నుండి నువ్వు వారి విన్నపాన్నీ, ప్రార్థననూ ఆలకించి వారి పనుల్లో వారికి సహాయం చెయ్యి.
36 When they sin against thee—for there is no son of earth who sinneth not—and thou shalt be angry with them, and deliver them up before an enemy, —who shall carry them away as their captives into a land—far away or near;
౩౬పాపం చేయని వాడెవడూ లేడు కాబట్టి వారు నీకు వ్యతిరేకంగా పాపం చేసినప్పుడు నువ్వు వారి మీద ఆగ్రహించి, శత్రువుల చేతికి వారిని అప్పగిస్తే, ఆ శత్రువులు వారిని దూరంగా లేక దగ్గరగా ఉన్న తమ దేశాలకు పట్టుకు పోయినప్పుడు,
37 and they come back to their right mind, in the land whither they have been taken captive, —and so turn and make supplication unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done perversely, and been lawless; —
౩౭వారు చెరగా వెళ్ళిన ఆ దేశంలో బుద్ధి తెచ్చుకుని పశ్చాత్తాప పడి ‘మేము పాపం చేసి, దోషులమయ్యాం, మేము భక్తిహీనంగా నడిచాం’ అని ఒప్పుకుని
38 and so turn unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captive, —and shall pray in the direction of their own land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and the city which thou hast chosen, and unto the house which I have built for thy Name,
౩౮తాము చెరలో ఉన్న దేశంలో తమ పూర్ణహృదయంతో పూర్ణాత్మతో నీవైపు తిరిగి, తమ పూర్వీకులకు నీవిచ్చిన తమ దేశం వైపూ నువ్వు కోరుకున్న ఈ పట్టణం వైపూ నీ నామఘనత కోసం నేను కట్టించిన ఈ మందిరం వైపూ మనస్సు తిప్పి వేడుకుంటే
39 then wilt thou hear out of the heavens—out of the settled place of thine abode—their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, —and forgive thy people, that wherein they sinned against thee?
౩౯నీ నివాసమైన పరలోకం నుండి నువ్వు వారి విన్నపాన్నీ, ప్రార్థననీ ఆలకించి, వారి పని జరిగించి, నీకు వ్యతిరేకంగా పాపం చేసిన నీ ప్రజలను క్షమించు.
40 Now, O my God, let—I beseech thee—thine eyes be open, and thine ears attent, —unto the prayer of this place.
౪౦నా దేవా, ఈ స్థలం లో చేసే ప్రార్థనలపై నీ దృష్టి ఉంచు. దాన్ని నీ చెవులు ఆలకించనీ.
41 Now, therefore, arise! O Yahweh God, unto thy rest, thou, and the ark of thy strength: Thy priests, O Yahweh God, let them be clothed with salvation, and, thy men of lovingkindness, let them rejoice in prosperity.
౪౧నా దేవా, యెహోవా, శక్తికి ఆధారభూతమైన నీ మందసంతో సహా లేచి రా. నీ విశ్రాంతి స్థలం లో ప్రవేశించు. దేవా యెహోవా, నీ యాజకులు రక్షణ వస్త్రాలు ధరించుకుంటారు గాక. నీ భక్తులు నీ మేలును బట్టి సంతోషిస్తారు గాక.
42 O Yahweh God! do not turn away thy face from thine Anointed One, —oh remember lovingkindness unto David thy servant.
౪౨దేవా యెహోవా, నీ చేత అభిషేకం పొందిన వాని నుండి నీ ముఖం తిప్పుకోవద్దు. నీ భక్తుడు దావీదుకు నువ్వు వాగ్దానం చేసిన కృపలను మరచిపోవద్దు.”
