2 Chronicles 3

1 Then began Solomon, to build the house of Yahweh, in Jerusalem, in Mount Moriah, where he had appeared unto David his father, —in the place which David had prepared, in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Unya si Salomon nagsugod sa pagtukod sa balay ni Jehova didto sa Jerusalem ibabaw sa bukid sa Moria, diin si Jehova mipakita kang David nga iyang amahan, nga iyang giandam diha sa dapit nga gitudlo ni David, diha sa giukan ni Ornan ng Jebusehanon.

2 And he began to build, in the second month, on the second, in the fourth year of his reign.

Ug siya nagsugod pagtukod sa ikaduhang adlaw sa ikaduhang bulan, sa ikaupat ka tuig sa iyang paghari.

3 And, these, are the things wherein Solomon was grounded for the building of the house of God, —The length, by cubits, in the first measure, was sixty cubits, and, the breadth, twenty cubits.

Karon mao kini ang mga patukoranan nga gipahamutang ni Salomon sa pagtukod sa balay sa Dios. Ang gitas-on pinaagi sa mga maniko sumala sa unang pagsukod kan-uman ka maniko, ug ang gilapdon kaluhaan ka maniko.

4 And, the porch which was in front of the length, in front of the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and, the height thereof, was a hundred and twenty, —and he overlaid it, within, with pure gold.

Ug ang alagianan nga diha sa atubangan sa balay, ang gitas-on niini, sumala sa gilapdon sa balay, kaluhaan ka maniko, ug ang gitas-on usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan; ug sa sulod niini iyang gihal-opan sa lunsay nga bulawan.

5 And, the greater house, covered he with cypress wood, and overlaid it with fine gold, —and raised thereon palms, and wreathed garlands.

Ug ang kinadak-an nga balay iyang gikisamehan sa kahoy nga haya, nga iyang gihal-opan sa manipis kaayo nga bulawan, ug gibuhat didto ang mga kahoy nga palma ug mga talikala.

6 And he covered the house with precious stones, for beauty, —and, the gold, was gold of Parvaim.

Ug iyang gidayandayanan ang balay uban sa bililhon nga mga bato alang sa pagpatahum: ug ang bulawan maoy bulawan sa Parvaim.

7 And he covered the house, the beams, the entrance-hall, and the walls thereof and the doors thereof, with gold, —and he carved cherubim upon the walls.

Iya usab nga gihal-opan ang balay, ang mga sagbayan, ang mga bakanan, ug ang mga bongbong niana, ug ang mga pultahan niana, sa bulawan; ug naglilok sa mga querubin diha sa ibabaw sa mga bongbong.

8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof, was, according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and, the breadth thereof, twenty cubits, —and he covered it with fine gold, to [the number of] six hundred talents;

Ug iyang nabuhat ang labing balaan nga balay: ang gitas-on niana, sumala sa gilapdon sa balay, kaluhaan ka maniko, ug ang gilapdon niana kaluhaan ka maniko; ug iyang gihal-opan kini sa manipis kaayo nga bulawan nga miabut sa unom ka gatus ka talento.

9 and, the weight of the nails, amounted to fifty shekels of gold, —and, the upper chambers, covered he with gold.

Ug ang gibug-aton sa mga lansang kalim-an ka siclo nga bulawan. Ug iyang gihal-opan ang mga lawak sa itaas sa bulawan.

10 And he made, in the most holy house, two cherubim, of carved work, —and covered them with gold.

Ug diha sa labing balaan nga balay siya naghimo sa duha ka mga querubin nga linilok; ug ilang gihal-opan kini sa bulawan.

11 And, as for the wings of the cherubim, the length of them, was twenty cubits, —the one wing, by the cubit was five, reaching to the wall of the house, and, the other wing, five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub;

Ug ang mga pako sa mga querubin may kaluhaan ka maniko ang gitas-on: ang pako sa usa ka querubin may lima ka maniko, nga nakaabut sa bongbong sa balay; ug ang laing pako sama usab nga may lima ka maniko, nga nakaabut sa pako sa laing querubin.

12 and, the wing of the other cherub, was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house, —and, the other wing, was five cubits, cleaving to the wing of the other cherub:

Ug ang pako sa laing querubin may lima ka maniko, nga nakaabut sa bongbong sa balay; ug ang laing pako may lima ka maniko usab, nga nahasumpay sa pako sa laing querubin.

13 the wings of these cherubim, outspread, were twenty cubits, —and, they themselves, were standing upon their feet, and, their faces, were inward.

Ang mga pako niining mga querubin nagabuklad sa ilang kaugalingon nga may kaluhaan ka maniko: ug sila nanagtindog sa ilang mga tiil, ug ang ilang mga nawong nanag-atubang sa balay.

14 And he made a vail, of blue and purple, and crimson and byssus cloth, —and raised thereon cherubim.

Ug siya naghimo sa tabil nga azul, ug purpura, ug mapula, ug fino nga lino, ug binolda nga mga querubin sa ibabaw niana.

15 And he made, for the front of the house, two pillars, thirty five cubits in length, —and, the capital which was upon the top of each, was five cubits.

Siya usab naghimo ug duha-ka haligi nga may katloan ug lima ko maniko ang gitas-on sa atubangan sa balay, ug ang ulo nga diha sa tumoy sa tagsa-tagsa niini may taglima ka maniko.

16 And he made wreathen chains in the shrine, and put them upon the top of the pillars, —and he made one hundred pomegranates, and put them in the chains,

Ug siya naghimo ug mga talikala diha sa dapit nga labing balaan, unya gibutang kini sa mga tumoy sa mga haligi; ug siya naghimo ug usa ka gatus ka granada, ug gibutang kini sa ibabaw sa mga talikala.

17 And he reared up the pillars in front of the temple, one, on the right, and, one, on the left, —and called the name of that on the right hand, Jachin, and the name of that on the left, Boaz.

Ug iyang gipatindog ang mga haligi sa atubangan sa templo, usa ka diha toong kamot, ug ang usa diha sa wala; ug gitawag ang ngalan niana nga diha sa too, Jachin, ug ang ngalan niana nga diha wala Boaz.
