< 1 John 1 >

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we for ourselves gazed upon, and our hands did handle, concerning the Word of Life, —
Tam-pifotorañey i Tsaran-kaveloñey, ie i jinanji’aiy, niisam-pihaino’aiy, nisambà’ay naho tsinapa-pità’aiy.
2 And, the Life, was made manifest, and we have seen, and are bearing witness, and announcing unto you, the Age-abiding Life, which, indeed, was with the Father, and was made manifest unto us; (aiōnios g166)
(Fa naboake i haveloñey le niisa’ay, naho mitalily, vaho itaroña’ay i haveloñe nainai’e aman-dRae ao vaho nabentatse ama’aiy.) (aiōnios g166)
3 That which we have seen and heard, are we announcing, even unto you, in order that, ye too, may have fellowship with us, and, our own fellowship also, may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
Taroñe’ay ka o niisa’ay naho jinanji’aio, soa te hitrao-drehak’ ama’ay nahareo. Toe miharo rehak’ aman-dRae naho amy Ana’e Iesoà Norizañey zahay.
4 And, these things, are we writing, in order that, our joy, may be made full.
Isokira’ay o raha zao, hañenefañe ty haeha’areo.
5 And this is the message which we have heard from him, and are reporting unto you, —that, God, is, light, and in him is, no darkness at all.
Zao ty entañe nijinanjiñe’ay naho itaroña’ay, Toe Hazavàñe t’i Andrianañahare; ie tsy aman’ ieñe, ndra loli’e.
6 If we say—We have, fellowship, with him! and, in darkness, are walking, we are dealing falsely, and not doing the truth;
Naho mihàboke t’ie mitrao-drehak’ ama’e fe mañavelo amy ieñey ao, le mandañitse, tsy mañavelo an-katò.
7 Whereas, if, in the light, we are walking, as, he, is in the light, we have, fellowship one with another, and, the blood of Jesus his Son, is cleansing us from all sin.
F’ie mañavelo an-kazavàñe, amy te Ie ro an-kazavàñ’ ao, le mitrao-drehake tika vaho liove’ ty lio’ Iesoà Ana’e amy ze fonga tahiñe.
8 If we say—Sin, have we none! we are deceiving, ourselves, and, the truth, is not in us.
Aa naho mieva t’ie tsy aman-kakeo le mamañahy vatañe, vaho tsy aman-tika ty hatò.
9 If we are confessing our sins, faithful, is he and, righteous—that he should forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ie miantoke hakeo, le migahiñe naho vantan-dre hañaha o tahin-tikañeo, hañaliova’e amy ze fonga hatsivokarañe.
10 If we say—We have not sinned! false, are we making, him, and, his word, is not in us.
Ie manao te mb’e lia tsy nanao hakeo le mampandañitse aze vaho tsy aman-tika o tsara’eo.
