< 1 Corinthians 3 >

1 I, therefore, brethren, have not been able to speak unto you, as unto men of the Spirit, but as unto men of the flesh—as unto babes in Christ: —
Alimwi andime, bakwesu, tendalikunowambula kulindinywe mbuli bantu basimuuya, pesi biyo mbuli kubantu banyama, mbuli kubana baniini muliKkilisito.
2 With milk, have I fed you, not, with meat; for, not yet, have ye been able; —nay! not [yet] even now, are ye able,
Ndakamusanina amakupa, pe pe chakulya chiyumu, nkambo temwalina libambila; nikuba lino tamuna kulibambila.
3 For ye are yet fleshly. For, whereas there are, among you, jealousy and strife, are ye not, fleshly, and, after the manner of men, walking?
Nkaambo inywebo muchili munyama. Kaambo aali buzuba akukazyanya akati kanu, tamulikupona mbuli basinyama, tamulikwenda mbuli kupona kwamubuntu na?
4 For, as soon as one beginneth to say—I, indeed, am of Paul! and another—I, of Apollos! are ye not, men?
Nkaambo umwi waamba kuti, “Nditobela Pawulo,” alubo umwi waamba kuti, “Nditobela Apolosi,” tamuli zilengwa zyabuntu biyo na?
5 What then is Apollos? and, what is Paul? ministers through whom ye believed, and, each, as the Lord, gave to him.
Ngwani mpo Apolosi? Ngwani Pawulo? Babelesi kwiinda mumulawu ngwakazumina, mbuli Mwaami mbakapa mulimu kuli umwi.”
6 I, planted, Apollos, watered, —but, God, caused to, grow.
Ndakabyala, alubo Apolosi wakatilila, pesi Leza nguupa kukomezya.
7 So that, [neither] is he that planteth anything, nor, he that watereth, —but, God, who causeth to, grow.
Mpo lino, te ooyo uubyala na utilila uli mbabede. Pesi nguLeza uupa kukomena.
8 Moreover, he that planteth and he that watereth, are one: —howbeit, each one, his own reward, shall receive, —according to his own labour.
Lino ooyo uubyala alubo uutilila mbamwi, alubo umwi uyootambula chaabilo chakwe mbuli kumulimu wakwe.
9 For we are, God’s, fellow-workmen: ye are, God’s, farm, God’s building.
Nkaambo tuli basimulimunyina aLeza. Mulimuunda waLeza, mayake aLeza.
10 According to the favour of God which hath been given unto me, as a wise master-builder, I laid a foundation, whereas, another, is building thereon; but, let each one, see, how he buildeth thereon;
Mbuli kuluzyalo lwaLeza lwakapegwa ndime mbuli muyaki ukonzesya, ndakabika intalisyo alubo umwi ulayaka alinjiyo. Pesi muleke umwi uyeyesya Mbayaka alinjiyo.
11 For, other foundation, can, no one, lay, than that which is lying, which is, Jesus Christ.
Nkaambo takukwe uunga ulabamba ntalisyo imbi itali eeyo yakabikwa, kiili, Jesu Kkilisito.
12 But, if anyone is building, upon the foundation—gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
Lino na umwi ulayaka aatala antalisyo a ngolide, nsiliva, mabwe ayandika, zisamu, makuba, matete,
13 Each one’s work, shall be made, manifest; for, the day, will make it plain, because, by fire, is it to be revealed, —and, each one’s work, of what sort it is, the fire itself will prove: —
mulimu wakwe ulakuyubununwa, nkaambo buzuba buyobuyubununa. Nkaambo uyooyubununwa mumulilo. Mulilo ulabweezya bube bwawumwi anzyakachita.
14 If, anyone’s work, shall abide, which he built, a reward, shall he receive, —
Na mulimu wawumwi ukayimikile, ulakutambula chabilo;
15 If, anyone’s work, shall be burnt up, he shall suffer loss, but shall, himself, be saved—though, thus, as through fire.
pesi na mulimu wawumwi wapya, ulakujana kuswekelwa, pesi we lwakwe uyofutulwa, mbuli ufutuka kwiinda mumulilo.
16 Know ye not that ye are a shrine of God, and that the Spirit of God within you doth dwell?
Tamuzi na kuti muli tempele yaLeza akuti muuya waLeza ukkala muli ndinywe?
17 If anyone doth mar the shrine of God, God, will mar him; for the shrine of God is holy, —and such are ye.
Na umwi ulajaya tempele yaLeza, Leza ulamujaya muntu ooyo. Nkaambo tempele yaLeza ilasalala, alubo alwenu.
18 Let no one be deceiving himself: —if anyone imagineth himself to be wise among you, in this age, let him become foolish, that he may become wise; (aiōn g165)
Kutabi umwi uulyena. Na umwi wenu akati kenu uyeya kuti musongo muchiindi echino, mumuleke abe “mufubafuba” kuti abe musongo. (aiōn g165)
19 For, the wisdom of this world, is, foolishness with God; for it is written—He that taketh the wise in their knavery, —
Kaambo busongo bwenyika iino mbufubafuba aLeza. Kaambo kulilembedwe, “Ulajata basongo mubuchenjezu bwabo.”
20 And again—The Lord taketh note of the speculations of the wise, that they are vain.
Alubo, “Mwaami ulizi kuti kuyeya kwabasongo nkwabuyo.”
21 So then, let, no one, be boasting in men; for, all things, are yours—
Akaambo kacheechi kutabi umwi ulikankayizya mubantu. Zyoonse zintu nzizyenu,
22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all, are, yours,
do Pawulo, na Apolosi, na Kefasi, na nyika, na buumi, na lufu, na zintu ziliko, na zintu zichiza. Zyoonse zintu nzizyenu,
23 And, ye, are Christ’s, —and, Christ, is, God’s.
alubo muli baKkilisito, alimwi Kkilisito ngu waLeza.
