1 Chronicles 9
1 And, all Israel, registered themselves, and lo! they are written, in the Book of the Kings of Israel, and, Judah, was carried away captive to Babylon, for their faithlessness.
Ấy vậy, cả dân Y-sơ-ra-ên được biên vào sổ theo các gia phổ; kìa đã ghi chép vào sách ký lược của các vua Y-sơ-ra-ên. Dân Giu-đa, tại tội lỗi họ, bị bắt đem qua nước Ba-by-lôn.
2 Now, the first inhabitants, who were in their possessions, in their cities, were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
Sau khi từ Ba-by-lôn trở về, các người ở đầu tiên trong địa nghiệp và trong các thành ấp của chúng, là người Y-sơ-ra-ên, thầy tế lễ, người Lê-vi, và người Nê-thi-nim.
3 And, in Jerusalem, there dwelt, of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, —and of the sons of Ephraim, and Manasseh:
Ở tại thành Giê-ru-sa-lem, có người Giu-đa, người Bên-gia-min, người Ép-ra-im, và người Mê-na-se.
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, of the sons of Perez, son of Judah.
Về dòng Phê-lết, là con của Giu-đa, có U-thai, con trai của A-mi-hút, A-mi-hút con trai của Ôm-ri, Ôm-ri con trai của Im-ri, và Im-ri con trai của Ba-ni.
5 And, of the Shilonites, Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
Bởi người Si-lô-ni có A-sai-gia con trưởng nam, và các con trai của người.
6 And, of the sons of Zerah, Jeuel, —and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
Bởi con cái Xê-rách, có Giê -u-ên và anh em người, là sáu trăm chín mươi người.
7 And, of the sons of Benjamin, Sallu, son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah;
Về dòng Bên-gia-min, có Sa-lu, con trai của Mê-su-lam; Mê-su-lam, con trai của Hô-đa-via; Hô-đa-via, con trai của A-sê-nu-a;
8 and Ibneiah, son of Jeroham, and Elah, son of Uzzi, son of Michri, —and Meshullam, son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah;
lại có Gíp-nê-gia, con trai của Giê-rô-ham, Ê-la con trai của U-xi; U-xi là con trai của Mi-cơ-ri và Mê-su-lam, con trai của Sê-pha-tia; Sê-pha-tia là con trai của Rê -u-ên; Rê -u-ên con trai của Gíp-nê-gia,
9 and their brethren, by their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six, —all these men, were ancestral chiefs, to their ancestral house.
và anh em chúng kể theo thế hệ thì được chín trăm năm mươi sáu người. Những người ấy đều làm trưởng tộc.
10 And, of the priests, Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin, —
Trong những thầy tế lễ có Giê-đai-gia, Giê-hô-gia-ríp, Gia-kin,
11 and Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, chief ruler of the house of God;
và A-xa-ria, con trai của Hinh-kia; Hinh-kia con trai của Mê-su-lam; Mê-su-lam con trai của Xa-đốc; Xa-đốc con trai của Mê-ra-giốt; Mê-ra-giốt, con trai của A-hi-túp, là kẻ cai quản đền của Ðức Chúa Trời;
12 and Adaiah, son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, —and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer;
lại có A-đa-gia, con trai của Giê-rô-ham; Giê-rô-ham, con trai của Pha-sua; Pha-sua, con trai của Manh-ki-gia; Manh-ki-gia, con trai của Ma-ê-sai; Ma-ê-sai, con trai của A-đi-ên; A-đi-ên, con trai của Gia-xê-ra; Gia-xê-ra, con trai của Mê-su-lam; Mê-su-lam, con trai của Mê-si-lê-mít; Mê-si-lê-mít, con trai của Y-mê;
13 and their brethren, chief men of their ancestral house, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty, —able men, for the business of the service of the house of God.
và anh em của chúng, số là một ngàn bảy trăm sáu mươi người, đều làm trưởng tộc, có tài hầu việc trong đền của Ðức Chúa Trời.
14 And, of the Levites, Shemaiah, son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
Trong người Lê-vi có Sê-ma-gia, con trai của Ha-súp, cháu của A-ri-kham, chắt của Ha-sa-bia; thảy đều thuộc về dòng Mê-ra-ri;
15 and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, —and Mattaniah, son of Mica, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;
lại có Bác-ba-cát, Hê-re, Ga-la, Ma-tha-nia, đều là con trai của Mi-ca, cháu của Xiếc-ri, chắt của A-sáp;
16 and Obadiah, son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, —and Berechiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
Ô-ba-đia, con trai của Sê-ma-gia, cháu của Ga-la, chắt của Giê-đu-thum; Bê-rê-kia, con trai của A-sa, cháu của Eân-ca-na, là người ở trong làng dân Nê-tô-pha-tít.
17 And, the keepers of the gates, were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, —and their brethren—Shallum the chief;
Những kẻ canh cửa, là Sa-lum, A-cúp, Tanh-môn, A-hi-man, và anh em của chúng; Sa-lum làm đầu.
18 and, hitherto, they were in the gate of the king, eastward, —the same, were the keepers of the gate, for the camps of the sons of Levi.
Cho đến bây giờ họ canh cửa đông của vua; còn xưa tổ tiên họ đều giữ cửa trại người Lê-vi.
19 And, Shallum, son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah and his brethren of his ancestral house—the Korahites, were over the business of the service, watchers at the vestibule of the tent, —and, their fathers, had been over the camp of Yahweh, watchers at the entrance.
Sa-lum con trai Cô-rê, cháu của Ê-bi-a-sáp, chắt của Cô-ra, và anh em tông tộc mình; ấy là dân Cô-rê lo coi sóc sự phục dịch, và canh giữ các cửa đền tạm; xưa tổ phụ chúng cai quản trại của Ðức Giê-hô-va, và giữ cửa tại.
20 And, Phinehas son of Eleazar, was, chief ruler, over them aforetime, Yahweh, being with him.
Xưa Phi-nê-a, con trai Ê-lê-a-sa, làm quan cai chúng, và Ðức Giê-hô-va ở với người.
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah, was door-keeper at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
Xa-cha-ri, con trai Mê-sê-lê-mia, là kẻ giữ cửa hội mạc.
22 All those who were chosen for door-keepers in the vestibule, were two hundred and twelve, —the same, in their villages, had registered themselves, the same, did David and Samuel the seer establish in their trust.
Những kẻ nầy đã được lựa chọn hầu canh giữ các cửa, số được hai trăm mười hai người. Người ta chép gia phổ họ theo các hương họ; vua Ða-vít và Sa-mu-ên, là đấng tiên kiến, đã lập mấy người ấy trong chức của họ.
23 So, they and their sons, were over the gates of the house of Yahweh, of the house of the tent, by watches.
Ấy vậy, chúng và con cháu của chúng, đều theo ban thứ, mà coi giữ các cửa đền của Ðức Giê-hô-va, tức là đền tạm.
24 Towards the four winds, were the keepers of the gates, —eastward, westward, northward, and southward.
Các kẻ giữ cửa đặt ở bốn phía đền về đông, tây, nam, và bắc.
25 And, their brethren in their villages, had to come in, every seven days, from time to time, along with these.
Các anh em chúng ở trong các làng mình phải đến từng tuần, theo phiên thứ, mà giúp đỡ.
26 For, in trust, were four mighty men of the keepers of the gates, the same, were Levites, —and they were over the chambers, and over the treasuries of the house of God.
Còn bốn người Lê-vi làm trưởng những người canh cửa, hằng giữ chức mình, và coi sóc các phòng và khung thành trong đền của Ðức Chúa Trời.
27 And, round about the house of God, used they to lodge, —for, upon them, was the charge, and they were over the setting open, morning by morning.
Ban đêm chúng ở xung quanh đền của Ðức Chúa Trời canh giữ nó; đến mỗi buổi sáng sớm chúng lại lo mở cửa ra.
28 And, some from among them, were over the utensils of the service, —for, by number, used they to bring them in, and, by number, used they to take them forth.
Trong bọn chúng cũng có mấy người được chức giữ đồ khí dụng, vì các đồ ấy đem ra đem vô y theo số.
29 And, some from among them, were appointed over the utensils, yea over all the vessels of the holy place, —and over the fine meal, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
Lại có kẻ khác được cắt coi sóc đồ đạc và các khí dụng tại nơi thánh, cùng lo giữ bột miến, rượu, dầu, nhũ hương, và các thuốc thơm.
30 And, some from among the sons of the priests, were compounders of perfumes, with the spices.
Có mấy kẻ trong bọn con trai những thầy tế lễ chế các thứ hương hoa.
31 And, Mattithiah, from among the Levites, —the same, was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite—was in trust over the making of the flat cakes.
Còn Ma-ti-thia, người Lê-vi, con trưởng nam của Sa-lum, thuộc về dòng Cô-rê, coi sóc việc làm bánh rán trong chảo.
32 And, some from among the Kohathites, of their brethren, were over the Bread that was set in Array, —to place it sabbath by sabbath.
Mấy kẻ trong vòng anh em chúng về dòng Kê-hát, được chức coi về việc làm bánh trần thiết, hễ đến ngày sa-bát thì phải sắm cho sẵn.
33 These, also were the singers, ancestral chiefs of the Levites, in the chambers, free, —for, by day and by night, was there [a charge] upon them, in the business.
Ðây là những người có chức hát xướng, đều làm trưởng tộc trong người Lê-vi, vẫn ở trong các phòng của đền, và vì phục sự ngày và đêm, nên được miễn các công việc khác.
34 These, were the ancestral chiefs, of the Levites, by their generations, chief men, —these, dwelt in Jerusalem.
Những người ấy đều làm trưởng tộc của người Lê-vi, theo dòng dõi họ, và ở tại thành Giê-ru-sa-lem.
35 And, in Gibeon, dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, —the name of whose wife, was Maacah:
Giê -i-ên, tổ phụ của Ga-ba-ôn, ở tại thành Ga-ba-ôn; tên vợ người là Ma-a-ca.
36 and, his firstborn son, Abdon, —and Zur, and Kish, and Baal and Ner, and Nadab;
Con trưởng nam của người là Áp-đôn; lại sanh Xu-rơ, Kích, Banh, Nê-rơ, Na-đáp,
37 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloh.
Ghê-đô, A-hi-ô, Xa-cha-ri, và Mích-lô.
38 And, Mikloth, begat Shimeam—and, they also, over against their brethren, did dwell in Jerusalem, along with their brethren.
Mích-lô sanh Si-mê-am. Chúng cũng đồng ở cùng anh em mình trong thành Giê-ru-sa-lem đối mặt nhau.
39 And, Ner, begat Kith, and, Kish, begat Saul, —and, Saul, begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal;
Nê-rơ sanh Kích; Kích sanh Sau-lơ; Sau-lơ sanh Giô-na-than, Manh-ki-sua, A-bi-na-đáp, và Ếch-ba-anh.
40 and, the son of Jonathan, was Merib-baal, —and, Merib-baal, begat Micah;
Con trai Giô-na-than là Mê-ri-Banh; Mê-ri-Banh sanh Mi-ca.
41 and, the sons of Micah, were Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea [and Ahaz];
Con trai của Mi-ca là Phi-thôn, Mê-léc, Ta-rê-a, và A-cha.
42 and, Ahaz, begat Jarah, and, Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, —and Zimri, begat Moza;
A-cha sanh Gia-ê-ra; Gia-ê-ra sanh A-lê-mết, Ách-ma-vết và Xim-ri; Xim-ri sanh Một-sa;
43 and, Moza, begat Binea, —and Raphaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son;
Một-sa sanh Bi-nê-a, con trai Bi-nê-a là Rê-pha-gia; Rê-pha-gia sanh Ê-lê-a-sa, và Ê-lê-a-sa sanh A-xên.
44 and, Azel, had six sons, and these are their names—Azrikam, [his firstborn], and Ishmael, and Sheariah and Obadiah, and Hanan, [and Asah]. These, were the sons of Azel.
A-xên có sáu người con trai, tên là A-ri-kham, Bốc-ru, Ích-ma-ên, Sê-a-ria, Ô-ba-đia, và Ha-nan; ấy đều là con trai của A-xên.
