1 Chronicles 8
1 And, Benjamin, begat Bela his firstborn, —Ashbel, the second, and Aharah, the third, —

2 Nohah, the fourth, and Rapha, the fifth.

6 And, these, are the sons of Ehud, —these, are the ancestral chiefs to the inhabitants of Geba, but they were carried away captive, unto Manahath;
Estos fueron los hijos de Aod, jefes de familia que vivían en Geba, y fueron desterrados a Manahat:
7 and, as for Naaman and Ahijah and Gera, the same, carried them captive, —and he begat Uzza and Ahihud.
Naamán, Ahías y Gera. Gera fue quien los exilió. Era el padre de Uzz y Ahiud.
8 And, Shaharaim, begat children in the field of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.
Saharaim tuvo hijos en Moab después de divorciarse de sus esposas Husim y Baara.
9 Then begat he, of Hodesh his wife, —Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam;
Se casó con Hodes y tuvo a Jobab, Zibia, Mesa, Malcam,
10 and Jeuz, and Sachia, and Mirmah, —these, were his sons, ancestral chiefs.
Jeuz, Saquías y Mirma. Todos estos fueron sus hijos, jefes de familia.
11 And, of Hushim, he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
También tuvo hijos con Husim: Abitob y Elpal.
12 And, the sons of Elpaal, Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, —he, built Ono, and Lod, and the villages thereof.

13 And, as for Beriah and Shema, they, were ancestral chiefs to the inhabitants of Aijalon, —they, put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;

14 and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth, —

15 and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder, —

16 and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, sons of Beriah, —
Micael, Ispa y Joha eran los hijos de Bería.
17 and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber, —

18 and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal, —
Ismerai, Jezlías y Jobab fueron los hijos de Elpaal.
19 and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi—

20 and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel, —

21 and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei, —
Adaías, Beraías, y Simrat fueron los hijos de Simei.
22 and Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel, —

23 and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan, —

25 and Iphdeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak, —

26 and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah, —

27 and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham:

28 these, were ancestral chiefs to their generations, chief men, —these, dwelt in Jerusalem;
Todos ellos eran jefes de familia, según su genealogía. Y vivían en Jerusalén.
29 And, in Gibeon, dwelt the father of Gibeon [Jeiel], the name of whose wife, was Maacah, —
Jeiel fundó Gabaón y vivió allí. Su mujer se llamaba Maaca.
30 and his firstborn son, Abdon, and Zur and Kish, and Baal and Ner and Nadab, —
Su hijo primogénito fue Abdón, luego Zur, Cis, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
31 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

32 And, Mikloth, begat Shimeah, —moreover also, they, over against their brethren, did dwell in Jerusalem, with their own brethren.
y Miclot. Miclot fue el padre de Simea. También vivían cerca de sus parientes en Jerusalén.
33 So then, Ner, begat Kish, and, Kish, begat Saul, —and, Saul, begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
Ner fue el padre de Cis, Cis fue el padre de Saúl, y Saúl fue el padre de Jonatán, Malquisúa, Abinadab y Es-Baal.
34 And, the son of Jonathan, was Merib-baal, —and, Merib-baal, begat Micah.
El hijo de Jonatán fue Merib-Baal, que fue el padre de Miqueas.
35 And, the sons of Micah, were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
Los hijos de Miqueas fueron Pitón, Melec, Tarea y Acaz.
36 And, Ahaz, begat Jehoaddah, and, Jehoaddah, begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, —and, Zimri, begat Moza;
Acaz fue el padre de Jada; Jada fue el padre de Alemet, Azmavet y Zimri; y Zimri fue el padre de Mosa.
37 and, Moza, begat Binea, —Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
Mosa fue el padre de Bina. Su hijo fue Rafa, padre de Elasa, padre de Azel.
38 And, Azel, had six sons, and, these, were their names—Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obediah, and Hanan and Asah, —all these, were sons of Azel.
Azel tuvo seis hijos. Estos fueron sus nombres: Azricam, Bocru, Ismael, Seraías, Obadías y Hanán. Todos ellos eran los hijos de Azel.
39 And, the sons of Eshek his brother, were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
Los hijos de su hermano Esec fueron Ulam (primogénito), Jeús (el segundo) y Elifelet (el tercero).
40 And the sons of Ulam became men that were heroes of valour, archers, with many sons, and sons’ sons, a hundred and fifty. All these, were of the sons of Benjamin.
Los hijos de Ulam eran fuertes guerreros y hábiles arqueros. Tuvieron muchos hijos y nietos, un total de 150. Todos ellos fueron los hijos de Benjamín.
