1 Chronicles 27

1 Now, the sons of Israel—as to the number of them, the ancestral chiefs—and rulers of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who waited upon the king as to any matter of the courses, who came in and went out month by month, for all the months of the year, in each course, were twenty-four thousand.

Οι δε υιοί Ισραήλ κατά την απαρίθμησιν αυτών, οι αρχηγοί των πατριών και οι χιλίαρχοι και οι εκατόνταρχοι και οι αξιωματικοί αυτών οι υπηρετούντες τον βασιλέα, καθ' ύλην την τάξιν των διαιρέσεων, αίτινες εισήρχοντο και εξήρχοντο κατά μήνα εις πάντας τους μήνας του ενιαυτού, ήσαν εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες εις εκάστην διαίρεσιν.

2 Over the first course, for the first month, was Jashobeam, son of Zabdiel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Επί της διαιρέσεως της πρώτης, διά τον πρώτον μήνα, ήτο Ιασωβεάμ ο υιός του Ζαβδιήλ· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού ήσαν εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

3 Of the sons of Perez, was the chief for all the rulers of the hosts, for the first month.

Ούτος ήτο εκ των υιών του Φαρές, άρχων πάντων των αρχόντων των στρατευμάτων διά τον πρώτον μήνα.

4 And, over the course for the second month, was Dodai an Ahohite, and, of his course, was Mikloth also a chief ruler, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Και επί της διαιρέσεως του δευτέρου μηνός ήτο Δωδαΐ ο Αχωχίτης· και της διαιρέσεως αυτού άρχων ο Μικλώθ· εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού ήσαν ομοίως εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

5 The ruler of the third host, for the third month, was Benaiah, son of Jehoiada the priest—a chief, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο τρίτος αρχηγός του στρατεύματος διά τον τρίτον μήνα ήτο Βεναΐας ο υιός του Ιωδαέ, πρώτος αξιωματικός· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού ήσαν εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

6 The same Benaiah, was a hero of thirty, and over the thirty, —and, over his course, was Ammizabad his son.

Ούτος είναι ο Βεναΐας ο δυνατός μεταξύ των τριάκοντα και επί των τριάκοντα· και επί της διαιρέσεως αυτού ήτο Αμμιζαβάδ ο υιός αυτού.

7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son, after him, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο τέταρτος διά τον τέταρτον μήνα Ασαήλ ο αδελφός του Ιωάβ, και μετ' αυτόν Ζεβαδίας ο υιός αυτού· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

8 Of the fifth, for the fifth month, the ruler, was Shamhuth the Izrahite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο πέμπτος αρχηγός διά τον πέμπτον μήνα Σαμούθ ο Ιεζραΐτης· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

9 The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira son of Ikkesh, the Tekoite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο έκτος διά τον έκτον μήνα Ιράς ο υιός του Ικκής ο Θεκωΐτης· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

10 The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο έβδομος διά τον έβδομον μήνα Χελής ο Φελωνίτης, εκ των υιών Εφραΐμ· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

11 The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο όγδοος διά τον όγδοον μήνα Σιββεχαΐ ο Χουσαθίτης, εκ των Ζαραϊτών· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

12 The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο έννατος διά τον έννατον μήνα Αβιέζερ ο Αναθωθίτης, εκ των Βενιαμιτών· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

13 The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο δέκατος διά τον δέκατον μήνα Μααραΐ ο Νετωφαθίτης, εκ των Ζαραϊτών· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

14 The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο ενδέκατος διά τον ενδέκατον μήνα Βεναΐας ο Πιραθωνίτης, εκ των υιών Εφραΐμ· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

Ο δωδέκατος διά τον δωδέκατον μήνα Χελδαΐ ο Νετωφαθίτης, εκ του Γοθονιήλ· και εν τη διαιρέσει αυτού εικοσιτέσσαρες χιλιάδες.

16 Furthermore, over the tribes of Israel, the chief ruler of the Reubenites, was Eliezer, son of Zichri. Of the Simeonites, Shephatiah, son of Maacah.

Επί δε των φυλών του Ισραήλ, ο άρχων των Ρουβηνιτών ήτο Ελιέζερ ο υιός του Ζιχρί· των Συμεωνιτών, Σεφατίας ο υιός του Μααχά·

17 Of Levi, Hashabiah, son of Kemuel. Of Aaron, Zadok.

των Λευϊτών, Ασαβίας ο υιός του Κεμουήλ· των Ααρωνιτών, ο Σαδώκ·

18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David. Of Issachar, Omri, son of Michael.

του Ιούδα, ο Ελιού, εκ των αδελφών του Δαβίδ· του Ισσάχαρ, Αμρί ο υιός του Μιχαήλ·

19 Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah, son of Obadiah. Of Naphtali, Jeremoth, son of Azriel.

του Ζαβουλών, Ισμαΐας ο υιός του Οβαδία· του Νεφθαλί, Ιεριμώθ ο υιός του Αζριήλ·

20 Of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah. Of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel, son of Pedaiah.

των υιών Εφραΐμ, Ιησούς ο υιός του Αζαζίου· της ημισείας φυλής Μανασσή, Ιωήλ ο υιός του Φεδαΐα·

21 Of the half of Manasseh, in Gilead, Iddo, son of Zechariah. Of Benjamin, Jaasiel, son of Abner.

της ημισείας φυλής Μανασσή εν Γαλαάδ, Ιδδώ ο υιός του Ζαχαρία· του Βενιαμίν, Ιασιήλ ο υιός του Αβενήρ·

22 Of Dan, Azarel, son of Jeroham. These, were the rulers of the tribes of Israel.

του Δαν, Αζαρεήλ ο υιός του Ιεροάμ. Ούτοι ήσαν οι άρχοντες των φυλών του Ισραήλ.

23 But David took not the number of them, from twenty years old, and under, —because Yahweh had said, he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.

Πλην ο Δαβίδ δεν έλαβε τον αριθμόν αυτών από είκοσι ετών ηλικίας και κάτω· διότι ο Κύριος είπεν, ότι θέλει πληθύνει τον Ισραήλ ως τα άστρα του ουρανού.

24 Joab son of Zeruiah, began to number, but finished not, when there arose, on this account, indignation against Israel, —neither did the number come up into the account of the chronicles of King David.

Ο Ιωάβ ο υιός της Σερουΐας ήρχισε να αριθμή, πλην δεν ετελείωσε, διότι έπεσε διά τούτο οργή κατά του Ισραήλ· όθεν δεν κατεχωρίσθη ο αριθμός μεταξύ των απαριθμήσεων εν τοις χρονικοίς του βασιλέως Δαβίδ.

25 And, over the treasuries of the king, was Azmaveth, son of Adiel. And, over the treasuries in the fields, in the cities, in the villages and in the castles, was Jonathan, son of Uzziah;

Επί δε των θησαυρών του βασιλέως ήτο Αζμαβέθ ο υιός του Αδήλ· και επί των θησαυρών των αγρών, των πόλεων και των κωμών και των φρουρίων, Ιωνάθαν ο υιός του Οζίου·

26 And, over the workers of the field, for the tillage of the ground, was Ezri, son of Chelub.

και επί των εργαζομένων το έργον των αγρών διά την γεωργίαν της γης, Εζρί ο υιός του Χελούβ·

27 And, over the vineyards, was Shimei, the Ramathite. And, over that which was in the vineyards, for the treasuries of wine, was Zabdi, the Shiphmite.

και επί των αμπελώνων, Σιμεΐ ο Ραμαθαίος· και επί του εισοδήματος των αμπελώνων διά τας οινοθήκας, Ζαβδί ο Σιφμίτης·

28 And, over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland, was Baal-hanan the Gederite. And, over the treasuries of oil, was Joash.

και επί των ελαιών και συκαμίνων των εν τη πεδινή, Βάαλ-ανάν ο Γεδερίτης· και επί των ελαιοθηκών, ο Ιωάς·

29 And, over the herds that pastured in Sharon, was Shitrai, the Sharonite. And, over the herds in the vales, Shaphat, son of Adlai.

και επί των βοών των βοσκομένων εν Σαρών, Σιτραΐ ο Σαρωνίτης· και επί των βοών των εν ταις κοιλάσι, Σαφάτ ο υιός του Αδλαΐ·

30 And, over the camels, was Obil, the Ishmaelite. And, over the asses, was Jehdeyahu the Meronothite.

και επί των καμήλων, Οβίλ ο Ισμαηλίτης· και επί των όνων, Ιεδαΐας ο Μερωνοθίτης·

31 And, over the flocks, was Jaziz, the Hagrite. All these, were rulers over the possessions that belonged to King David.

και επί των προβάτων, Ιαζίζ ο Αγαρίτης. Πάντες ούτοι ήσαν επιστάται των υπαρχόντων του βασιλέως Δαβίδ.

32 And, Jonathan the relative of David, was a counsellor, a man of understanding and a scribe, was he. And, Jehiel son of Hachmoni, was with the sons of the king.

Ο δε Ιωνάθαν, ο πατράδελφος του Δαβίδ, ήτο σύμβουλος, ανήρ συνετός και γραμματεύς· και Ιεχιήλ, ο υιός του Αχμονί, ήτο μετά των υιών του βασιλέως·

33 And, Ahitophel, was counsellor to the king. And, Hushai the Archite, was the companion of the king.

και ο Αχιτόφελ, σύμβουλος του βασιλέως· και Χουσαΐ ο Αρχίτης, οικείος του βασιλέως·

34 And, after Ahitophel, was Jehoiada son of Benaiah—and Abiathar. And, the captain of the king’s army, was Joab.

και μετά τον Αχιτόφελ, Ιωδαέ ο υιός του Βεναΐα και ο Αβιάθαρ· αρχιστράτηγος δε του βασιλέως ο Ιωάβ.
