1 Chronicles 26

1 To the courses of the door-keepers, pertained, —of the Korahites, Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;

En cuanto a los repartimientos de los porteros, de los coreítas: Meselemías hijo de Coré, de los hijos de Asaf.

2 and, Meshelemiah, had sons, —Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;

Los hijos de Meselemías: Zacarías el primogénito, Jediael el segundo, Zebadías el tercero, Jatniel el cuarto;

3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.

Elam el quinto, Johanán el sexto, Elioenai el séptimo.

4 And, Obed-edom, had sons, —Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;

Los hijos de Obed-edom: Semaías el primogénito, Jozabad el segundo, Joab el tercero, el cuarto Sacar, el quinto Natanael;

5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, —for God had blessed him.

el sexto Amiel, el séptimo Isacar, el octavo Peultai; porque Dios lo había bendecido.

6 And, to Shemaiah his son, were born sons, who bare rule to their ancestral house, —for, heroes of valour, were they.

También de Semaías su hijo nacieron hijos que fueron señores sobre la casa de sus padres; porque eran varones valientes de gran valor.

7 the sons of Shemaiah, were Othni and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were sons of valour, —Elihu, and Semachiah.

Los hijos de Semaías: Otni, Rafael, Obed, Elzabad, y sus hermanos, hombres esforzados; asimismo Eliú, y Samaquías.

8 All these, were of the sons of Obed-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, —sixty-two, pertaining to Obed-edom.

Todos estos de los hijos de Obed-edom; ellos y sus hijos y sus hermanos, fueron varones valientes y esforzados para el ministerio; sesenta y dos, de Obed-edom.

9 And, Meshelemiah, had sons, and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen.

Y los hijos de Meselemías y sus hermanos, dieciocho hombres valientes.

10 And, Hosah of the sons of Merari, had sons, —Shimri the chief, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father, made him, chief.

De Hosa, de los hijos de Merari: Simri el principal, (aunque no era el primogénito, mas su padre lo puso para que fuese cabeza);

11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth, —all the sons and brethren of Hosah, were thirteen.

el segundo Hilcías, el tercero Tebalías, el cuarto Zacarías; todos los hijos de Hosa y sus hermanos fueron trece.

12 To these, belonged the courses of door-keepers, to the chiefs of the strong men, belonged charges, equally with their brethren, —to be in attendance in the house of Yahweh.

De estos se hizo la distribución de los porteros, por los principales de los varones de la guardia contra sus hermanos de dos en dos, para ministrar en la Casa del SEÑOR.

13 Yea they cast lots, as the small so the great, by their ancestral house, for every several gate.

Y echaron suertes, el pequeño con el grande, por las casas de sus padres, para cada puerta.

14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. And, for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out, northward.

Y cayó la suerte del oriente a Selemías. Y a Zacarías su hijo, consejero entendido, metieron en las suertes; y salió la suerte suya al norte.

15 To Obed-edom, southward, —and, to his sons, the storehouse.

Y por Obed-edom, al mediodía; y por sus hijos, la casa de la consulta.

16 To Shuppim and to Hosah, westward, near the refuse-gate, in the causeway that goeth up, —one ward as well as another.

Por Supim y Hosa al occidente, con la puerta de Salequet al camino de la subida, guardia contra guardia.

17 Eastward—daily, were six, —northward—daily, four, southward—daily, four, and, for the stores, two and two.

Al oriente seis levitas, al norte cuatro de día; al mediodía cuatro de día; y a la casa de la consulta, de dos en dos.

18 For the precinct—westward, four, at the causeway, two—by the precinct.

En la cámara de los vasos al occidente, cuatro al camino, y dos en la cámara.

19 These, were the courses of the door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.

Estos son los repartimientos de los porteros, hijos de los coreítas, y de los hijos de Merari.

20 And, the Levites, their brethren, were over the treasuries of the house of God, even to the treasuries of hallowed things.

Y de los levitas, Ahías tenía cargo de los tesoros de la Casa de Dios, y de los tesoros de las cosas santificadas.

21 The sons of Ladan—the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan—the ancestral chiefs belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli;

Cuanto a los hijos de Laadán, hijos de Gersón: de Laadán, los príncipes de las familias de Laadán fueron Gersón, y Jehieli.

22 the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.

Los hijos de Jehieli, Zetam y Joel su hermano, tuvieron cargo de los tesoros de la Casa del SEÑOR.

23 Then came certain of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites.

Acerca de los amramitas, de los izharitas, de los hebronitas, y de los uzielitas,

24 And, Shebuel, son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief ruler over the treasuries.

Sebuel hijo de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era príncipe sobre los tesoros.

25 And, his brethren pertaining to Eliezer, were Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.

Y su hermano Eliezer, cuyo hijo era Rehabías, cuyo hijo era Isaías, cuyo hijo era Joram, cuyo hijo era Zicri, cuyo hijo era Selomit.

26 The same Shelomoth and his brethren, were over all the treasuries of the hallowed things, which David the king and the ancestral chiefs, with the captains of thousands and hundreds and the captains of the army, had hallowed:

Este Selomit y sus hermanos tenían cargo de todos los tesoros de todas las cosas santificadas, que había consagrado el rey David, y los príncipes de las familias, y los príncipes de los millares y de los cientos, y los capitanes del ejército;

27 out of the battles and out of the spoil, had they hallowed [them], —to strengthen [the provision] for the house of Yahweh.

de lo que habían consagrado de las guerras y de los despojos, para reparar la Casa del SEÑOR.

28 And, all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, had hallowed, whosoever had hallowed anything, it was under the direction of Shelomoth, and his brethren.

Asimismo todas las cosas que había consagrado Samuel vidente, y Saúl hijo de Cis, y Abner hijo de Ner, y Joab hijo de Sarvia; y todo lo que cualquiera consagraba, estaba bajo la mano de Selomit y de sus hermanos.

29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons, were for the outward business over Israel, —as officers, and as judges.

De los izharitas, Quenanías y sus hijos eran gobernadores y jueces sobre Israel en las obras de fuera.

30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel, across the Jordan westward, —for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king.

De los hebronitas, Hasabías y sus hermanos, hombres de valor, que eran mil setecientos, presidían a Israel al otro lado del Jordán, al occidente, en toda la obra del SEÑOR, y en el servicio del rey.

31 Of the Hebronites, Jerijah, was chief, [he was] of the Hebronites by his generations, by his fathers, —in the fortieth year of the reign of David, were they sought out, and there were found among them heroes of valour, in Jazer of Gilead;

De los hebronitas, Jerías era el principal entre los hebronitas repartidos en sus linajes por sus familias. En el año cuarenta del reinado de David se buscaron, y se hallaron entre ellos valientes de gran valor en Jazer de Galaad.

32 and, his brethren that were heroes of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, ancestral chiefs, —so David the king gave them oversight, over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manassites, in all the affairs of God, and the affairs of the king.

Y sus hermanos, hombres valientes, eran dos mil setecientos, príncipes de familias, los cuales el rey David constituyó sobre los rubenitas, gaditas, y sobre la media tribu de Manasés, para todas las cosas de Dios, y las cosas del rey.
