1 Chronicles 24
1 Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

2 but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;

3 and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.
Amih khaw David loh ana tael coeng tih Eleazar koca lamkah Zadok neh Ithamar koca lamkah Ahimelek tah amih kah thothuengnah dongah amih aka cawhkung la a khueh.
4 But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.

5 They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.

6 And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

7 So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

8 for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;
A pathum ah Harim taengla, a pali te Seorim taengla.
9 for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;
A panga te Malkhiah taengla, a parhuk Mijamin taengla,
10 for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;
A parhih te Koz taengla, a parhet te Abijah taengla.
11 for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;
A pako te Jeshua taengla, a hlai te Shekaniah taengla.
12 for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;
Hlai at te Eliashib taengla, hlai nit te Jakim taengla.
13 for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;
Hlai thum te Huppah taengla, a hlai li te Jeshebeab taengla.
14 for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;
A hlai nga te Bilgah taengla, a hlai rhuk te Immer taengla.
15 for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;
Hlai rhih te Hezir taengla, hlai rhet te Happozzez taengla.
16 for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;
Hlai ko te Pethahiah taengla, pakul te Ezekiel taengla.
17 for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;
Pakul pakhat te Jakhin taengla, pakul panit te Gamul taengla.
18 for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.
Pakul pathum te Delaiah taengla, pakul pali te Maaziah taengla.
19 These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.

21 Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;
Rehabiah ham te Rehabiah koca lamloh a cacuek Isshiah.
22 of the Izharites, Shelomoth, —of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;
Izhari lamloh Shelmoth, Shelmoth koca lamloh Jahath.
23 and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;
Jeriah koca ah, Amariah te a pabae, Jahaziel te a pathum, Jekameam te a pali.
24 the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
Uzziel koca Maikah, Maikah koca lamloh Shamir.
25 the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
Maikah mana Isshiah, Isshiah koca lamloh Zekhariah.
26 The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;
Merari koca ah Mahli neh a capa Jaaziah koca Mushi.
27 the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:
Merari koca ah a capa Jaaziah lamkah neh Shoham, Zakkuur neh Ibri.
28 of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;
Mahli lamkah he Eleazar dae anih te ca tongpa om pawh.
29 of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;
Kish lamkah khaw Kish koca he Jerahmeel.
30 and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.
Mushi koca rhoek la Mahli, Eder, Jerimoth. He rhoek tah Levi koca rhoek kah a napa rhoek imkhui cako ni.
31 Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
