< Psalms 58 >

1 For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David: Michtam. Do ye indeed in silence speak righteousness? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Eyembamaki ndenge moko na « Kobebisa te. » Nzembo ya Davidi. Ezali solo ete bolobaka te tango bokataka makambo? Boni, bana na moto, bosambisaka na bosembo?
2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.
Te, ezala kati na mitema na bino, bosalaka mabongisi ezanga bosembo; botandaka kanza ya maboko na bino kati na mokili.
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
Bato mabe babebaka wuta na mbotama na bango, bapengwaka mpe balobaka lokuta wuta na mabumu ya bamama na bango.
4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: [they are] like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
Bazalaka na ngenge lokola ngenge ya nyoka, lokola ngenge ya etupa oyo eyokaka te, oyo ekangaka litoyi na yango,
5 Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
oyo eyokaka te ata mingongo ya bato na soloka mpe ya moto ya maji oyo aleki na mayele.
6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
Nzambe, buka minu na bango kati na minoko na bango; Yawe, buka bambanga ya bana ya bankosi.
7 Let them melt away as water that runneth apace: when he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.
Tika ete balimwa lokola mayi oyo ezali kotiola; Tika ete bambanzi na bango ebukana tango babetaka batolotolo.
8 [Let them be] as a snail which melteth and passeth away: [like] the untimely birth of a woman, that hath not seen the sun.
Tika ete balimwa lokola soyi ya mbembe, lokola mwana oyo akomona moyi te mpo ete abimi na zemi oyo esopani.
9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
Liboso ete banzungu na bino ekutana na moto ya basende, ezala ya mayi to ya kokawuka, bato mabe akolimwa.
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
Moto ya sembo akosepela, pamba te akomona Nzambe kozongisela bato mabe, mabe na mabe, mpe akotambola kati na makila na bango.
11 So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.
Mpe bato bakoloba: « Solo, ezali na lifuti mpo na moto ya sembo; solo, ezali na Nzambe oyo asambisaka mokili. »
