Psalms 58
1 For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David: Michtam. Do ye indeed in silence speak righteousness? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಅಲ್ತಷ್ಖೇತೆಂಬ ರಾಗವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಮಿಕ್ಟಮ್ ಹಾಡಿನ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಜನನಾಯಕರೇ, ನೀವು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತೀರೋ? ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವಿರೋ?
2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.
ಇಲ್ಲಾ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲಾ, ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ತೂಗುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲಾ.
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
ದುಷ್ಟರು ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದಲೇ ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಂದಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುವವರಾಗಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: [they are] like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
ಹಾವಿನ ವಿಷದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಷ ಇದೆ. ಘಟಸರ್ಪದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಂದವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
ಚಮತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ನುಡಿಸುವ ಹಾವಾಡಿಗನ ನಾದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳದ ಹಾವಿನಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
ಓ, ದೇವರೇ, ಅವರ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಮುರಿದು ಬೀಳಲಿ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹಗಳಂತಿರುವ ಅವರ ಕೋರೆಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗಲಿ.
7 Let them melt away as water that runneth apace: when he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.
ಅವರು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಕರಗಿಹೋಗಲಿ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಿಡುವಾಗ ಡೊಂಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಲಿ.
8 [Let them be] as a snail which melteth and passeth away: [like] the untimely birth of a woman, that hath not seen the sun.
ಕರಗುವ ಗೊಂಡೆ ಹುಳದಂತೆ ಅವರು ನಾಶವಾಗಲಿ. ದಿನತುಂಬದೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಶಿಶುವಿನಂತೆ ಅವರು ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಾಣದಿರಲಿ.
9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
ಗಡಿಗೆಗಳು ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಶಾಖವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಸಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಒಣಗಿರುವಾಗಲೇ, ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿ ಹಾರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಗಲಿ.
10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
ನೀತಿವಂತರು ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗಾಗುವ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಹಿಗ್ಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟನ ರಕ್ತದ ಮೇಲಿಡಲಿ.
11 So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.
ಆಗ ಜನರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು, “ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ಫಲವಿದೆ. ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.”
