Psalms 38
1 A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
१आठवण देण्यासाठी, दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या क्रोधात मला ताडना करू नकोस, आणि तुझ्या कोपात मला शिक्षा करू नकोस.
2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
२कारण तुझे बाण मला छेदतात, आणि तुझा हात मला खाली दाबतो आहे.
3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.
३माझे सर्व शरीर तुझ्या क्रोधाने आजारी झाले आहे. आणि माझ्या अपराधांमुळे माझ्या हाडांत स्वस्थता नाही.
4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
४कारण माझ्या वाईट गोष्टींनी मला दडपून टाकले आहे. ते माझ्याकरिता फार जड असे ओझे झाले आहे.
5 My wounds stink and are corrupt, because of my foolishness.
५माझ्या पापाच्या मूर्खपणामुळे, माझ्या जखमा संसर्गजन्य आणि दुर्गंधित झाल्या आहेत.
6 I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
६मी वाकलो आहे आणि प्रत्येक दिवशी मानहानी होते; दिवसभर मी शोक करतो.
7 For my loins are filled with burning; and there is no soundness in my flesh.
७कारण लज्जेने मला गाठले आहे, आणि माझे सर्व शरीर आजारी आहे.
8 I am faint and sore bruised: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
८मी बधिर आणि पूर्णपणे ठेचला गेलो आहे. आपल्या हृदयाच्या तळमळीने मी कण्हतो.
9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
९हे प्रभू, तू माझ्या हृदयाची खोल उत्कंठ इच्छा समजतोस, आणि माझे कण्हणे तुझ्यापासून लपले नाही.
10 My heart throbbeth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
१०माझे हृदय धडधडत आहे, माझी शक्ती क्षीण झाली आहे आणि माझी दृष्टीही अंधुक झाली आहे.
11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
११माझ्या परिस्थितीमुळे माझे मित्र आणि माझे सोबती मला टाळतात, माझे शेजारी माझ्यापासून लांब उभे राहतात.
12 They also that seek after my life lay snares [for me]; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
१२जे माझा जीव घेऊ पाहतात ते माझ्यासाठी पाश मांडतात. जे माझी हानी करू पाहतात ते दिवसभर विध्वंसक आणि कपटाचे शब्द बोलतात.
13 But I, as a deaf man, hear not; and I am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
१३मी तर बहिर्‍यासारखा होऊन ऐकत नाही; मुक्यासारखा मी आपले तोंड उघडत नाही.
14 Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
१४ऐकू न येणाऱ्या माणसासारखा मी आहे, ज्याच्याकडे काही उत्तर नाही.
15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.
१५परमेश्वरा, खचित मी तुझी वाट पाहीन. प्रभू माझ्या देवा, तू मला उत्तर देशील.
16 For I said, Lest they rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
१६कारण मी जर म्हणालो तू उत्तर दिले नाही, तर माझे शत्रू माझ्यावर आनंद करतील. जर माझा पाय घसरला, तर ते भयानक गोष्टी करतील.
17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
१७कारण मी अडखळून पडण्याच्या बेतास आलो आहे, आणि मी सतत यातनेत आहे.
18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
१८मी माझा अपराध कबूल करतो; मी माझ्या पापासंबंधी चिंताकुल आहे.
19 But mine enemies are lively, [and] are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
१९परंतु माझे शत्रू असंख्य आहेत; जे माझा वाईटाने द्वेष करतात ते पुष्कळ आहेत.
20 They also that render evil for good are adversaries unto me, because I follow the thing that is good.
२०माझ्या चांगल्याची परतफेड ते वाईटाने करतात. जरी मी चांगले अनुसरलो. तरी माझ्यावर ते दोषारोपण करतात.
21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
२१हे परमेश्वरा, मला सोडू नकोस; माझ्या देवा, माझ्यापासून दूर राहू नकोस.
22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
२२हे प्रभू, माझ्या तारणाऱ्या, माझे साहाय्य करण्यास त्वरा कर.
