Psalms 23

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

೧ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಕುರುಬನು; ಕೊರತೆಪಡೆನು.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

೨ಆತನು ಹಸಿರುಗಾವಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಂಗಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಕರವಾದ ನೀರುಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

3 He restoreth my soul: he guideth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

೩ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜೀವಿಸಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನೀತಿಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

೪ನಾನು ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಿನ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವಾಗಲೂ, ನೀನು ಹತ್ತಿರವಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಹೆದರೆನು; ನಿನ್ನ ದೊಣ್ಣೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಲೂ ನನಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಕೊಡುತ್ತವೆ.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

೫ವೈರಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಔತಣವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೀ; ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಗೆ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತೀ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು ತುಂಬಿ ಹೊರಸೂಸುತ್ತದೆ.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

೬ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶುಭವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವು. ನಾನು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವೆನು.
