Luke 21
1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men that were casting their gifts into the treasury.
೧ಯೇಸು ತಲೆಯೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
2 And he saw a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
೨ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬ ಬಡ ವಿಧವೆಯು ಬಂದು ತಾಮ್ರದ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವುದನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ಗಮನಿಸಿ,
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, This poor widow cast in more than they all:
೩“ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಈ ಬಡ ವಿಧವೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
4 for all these did of their superfluity cast in unto the gifts: but she of her want did cast in all the living that she had.
೪ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ತಮಗೆ ಸಾಕಾಗಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಈಕೆಯೋ ತನ್ನ ಬಡತನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕಿದ್ದುದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಳು” ಅಂದನು.
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and offerings, he said,
೫ಕೆಲವರು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಅಂದವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲಂಕಾರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
೬ಯೇಸು, “ನೀವು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಉಳಿಯದೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಡುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು” ಅಂದನು.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, when therefore shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign when these things are about to come to pass?
೭ಅವರು, “ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ಅದು ಯಾವಾಗ ಆಗುವುದು? ಅದು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಾಗ ಯಾವ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳುಂಟಾಗುವುವು?” ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು,
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am [he]; and, The time is at hand: go ye not after them.
೮ಯೇಸು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, “ನೀವು ಮೋಸಹೋಗದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ‘ನಾನೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು, ನಾನೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು’ ಎಂತಲೂ ‘ಆ ಕಾಲ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಯಿತು’ ಎಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳುವರು. ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ.
9 And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.
೯ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯುದ್ಧಗಳೂ ಗಲಭೆಗಳೂ ಆಗುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳುವಾಗ, ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಭಯಭೀತರಾಗಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೊದಲು ಆಗುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯ. ಆದರೂ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಅಂದನು.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
೧೦ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, “ಜನಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಜನರೂ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವೂ ಏಳುವವು.
11 and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.
೧೧ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾಭೂಕಂಪಗಳಾಗುವವು, ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಗಳೂ ಉಪದ್ರವಗಳೂ ಬರುವವು, ಭಯಾನಕ ಘಟನೆಗಳೂ ಮಹಾ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳೂ ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರುವವು.
12 But before all these things, they shall lay their hands on you, and shall persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.
೧೨ಆದರೆ ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಡೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಿ ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸುವರು.
13 It shall turn unto you for a testimony.
೧೩ಇದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವುದು.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how to answer:
೧೪ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಏನು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಯೋಚಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಯಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to withstand or to gainsay.
೧೫ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಎದುರು ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಎದುರು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗದಂಥ ಬಾಯನ್ನೂ, ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಾನೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
16 But ye shall be delivered up even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and [some] of you shall they cause to be put to death.
೧೬ಆದರೆ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳೂ, ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರೂ, ಬಂಧುಬಾಂಧವರೂ. ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವರು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸುವರು.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
೧೭ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವರು.
18 And not a hair of your head shall perish.
೧೮ಆದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮದೊಂದು ತಲೆಕೂದಲಾದರೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
19 In your patience ye shall win your souls.
೧೯ನೀವು ಸೈರಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
20 But when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.
೨೦“ಆದರೆ ಸೈನಿಕರ ದಂಡುಗಳು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಾಣುವಾಗ ಅದು ನಾಶವಾಗುವ ಕಾಲ ಸಮೀಪವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
21 Then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains; and let them that are in the midst of her depart out; and let not them that are in the country enter therein.
೨೧ಆಗ ಯೂದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಲಿ. ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರು ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಲಿ. ಹಳ್ಳಿಯವರು ಅದರೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದಿರಲಿ.
22 For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
೨೨ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಬರೆದಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೆರವೇರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವು ದಂಡನೆಯ ದಿನಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
23 Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! for there shall be great distress upon the land, and wrath unto this people.
೨೩ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರಿಗೂ ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರಿಗೂ ಆಗುವ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ಈ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಾವಿಪತ್ತೂ ಈ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ರೋಧವು ಉಂಟಾಗುವವು.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
೨೪ಅವರು ಕತ್ತಿಯ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವರು. ಅವರು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಅನ್ಯದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು. ಅನ್ಯದೇಶದವರ ಸಮಯಗಳು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ತನಕ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಅನ್ಯದೇಶದವರಿಂದ ತುಳಿದಾಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು.
25 And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows;
೨೫“ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಚಂದ್ರ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳು ತೋರುವವು. ಭೋರ್ಗರೆಯುವ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಅಲೆಗಳ ಘೋಷದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ದಿಕ್ಕುಕಾಣದೆ ಸಂಕಟವು ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದು.
26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
೨೬ಆಕಾಶದ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಕದಲುವುದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಭಯಹಿಡಿದವರಾಗಿ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಏನು ಬರುವುದೋ ಎಂದು ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಹೋದಂತಾಗುವರು.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
೨೭ಆಗ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಹು ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಮೇಘದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವರು.
28 But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.
೨೮ಆದರೆ ಇವು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತೊಡಗುವಾಗ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಯೆತ್ತಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯು ಸಮೀಪವಾಗಿದೆ” ಅಂದನು.
29 And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees:
೨೯ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸಾಮ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, “ಅಂಜೂರ ಮುಂತಾದ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿರಿ.
30 when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh.
೩೦ಅವು ಚಿಗುರಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ನೀವು ಅವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಈಗ ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ನೀವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲಾ.
31 Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.
೩೧ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇವುಗಳಾಗುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಾಗ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished.
೩೨“ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಗುವ ತನಕ ಈ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಅಳಿದು ಹೋಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
೩೩ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಕಾಶಗಳು ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವವು, ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
34 But take heed to yourselves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly as a snare:
೩೪“ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗರೂಕರಾಗಿರಿ. ಅತಿ ಭೋಜನದ ಮದದಿಂದಲೂ, ಅಮಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕವಾದ ಚಿಂತೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳು ಭಾರವಾಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಆ ದಿನವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರುಲಿನಂತೆ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಬಂದೀತು.
35 for [so] shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth.
೩೫ಆ ದಿನವು ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವುದು.
36 But watch ye at every season, making supplication, that ye may prevail to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
೩೬ಆದರೆ ಅಂದು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನೀವು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಶಕ್ತರಾಗುವಂತೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ” ಅಂದನು.
37 And every day he was teaching in the temple; and every night he went out, and lodged in the mount that is called [the mount] of Olives.
೩೭ಯೇಸು ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪದೇಶಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ರಾತ್ರಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಮರಗಳ ತೋಪು ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, to hear him.
೩೮ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆತನ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಬೇಗನೆ ಎದ್ದು ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
