Luke 15
1 Now all the publicans and sinners were drawing near unto him for to hear him.
၁အခွန်ခံသော သူတို့နှင့်ဆိုးသောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် နားထောင်ခြင်းငှါ အထံတော်သို့ ချဉ်းကပ်သည် ဖြစ်၍၊
2 And both the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
၂ဖာရိရှဲနှင့် ကျမ်းပြုဆရာတို့က၊ ဤသူသည် ဆိုးသောသူတို့ကိုလက်ခံ၍ သူတို့နှင့်အတူ စားပါသည် တကားဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့အပြစ်တင်ကြ၏။
3 And he spake unto them this parable, saying,
၃ထိုအခါ ဥပမာစကားကို မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့တွင် တစုံတယောက်သောသူ၌ သိုးတရာရှိ၍၊
4 What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
၄သိုးတကောင်ပျောက်လျှင်၊ ကိုးဆယ်ကိုးကောင်သော သိုးတို့ကို တောတွင်ထားခဲ့ပြီးမှ၊ ပျောက်သော သိုး တကောင်ကို မတွေ့မှီတိုင်အောင်သွား၍ မရှာဘဲနေမည်လော။
5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
၅တွေ့ပြီးလျှင် ဝမ်းမြောက်သော စိတ်နှင့် ပခုံးပေါ်မှာ တင်ထမ်း၍၊
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and his neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.
၆မိမိအိမ်သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ အဆွေခင်ပွန်း အိမ်နီးချင်းများကိုခေါ်၍၊ ပျောက်သောသိုးကို ငါတွေ့ ပြီ။ ငါနှင့်အတူ ဝမ်းမြောက်ကြလော့ဟု ဆိုတတ်သည် မဟုတ်လော။
7 I say unto you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, [more] than over ninety and nine righteous persons, which need no repentance.
၇ထိုနည်းတူ ဖြောင့်မတ်၍ နောင်တရစရာအကြောင်းမရှိသောသူ ကိုးဆယ်ကိုးယောက်တို့၌ ကောင်း ကင်သားတို့သည် ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းရှိသည်ထက်၊ နောင်တရသောလူဆိုးတယောက်၌ သာ၍ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း ရှိကြသည်ဟု ငါဆို၏။
8 Or what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek diligently until she find it?
၈တနည်းကား၊ တစုံတယောက်သောမိန်းမ၌ ငွေဆယ်ပြားရှိ၍ တပြားပျောက်လျှင်၊ ဆီမီးကိုထွန်း၍ မတွေ့မှီတိုင်အောင် တအိမ်လုံးကိုလှည်း၍ စေ့စေ့မရှာဘဲ နေမည်လော။
9 And when she hath found it, she calleth together her friends and neighbours, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost.
၉တွေ့ပြီးလျှင် အဆွေခင်ပွန်းအိမ်နီးချင်းများကိုခေါ်၍၊ ပျောက်သောငွေကို ငါတွေ့ပြီ။ ငါနှင့်အတူ ဝမ်း မြောက်ကြလော့ဟု ဆိုတတ်သည်မဟုတ်လော။
10 Even so, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
၁၀ထိုနည်းတူ ငါဆိုသည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကောင်းကင်တမန်တို့သည် နောင်တရသောလူဆိုးတ ယောက်၌ ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်းရှိကြသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
၁၁တဖန် မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ တစုံတယောက်သောသူ၌ သားနှစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။
12 and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of [thy] substance that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
၁၂သားအငယ်သည် အဘထံသို့ သွား၍၊ အဘ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ရထိုက်သော အမွေဥစ္စာကိုဝေ၍ ပေးပါဟု တောင်းပန်လျှင်၊ အဘသည် ဥစ္စာများကိုဝေ၍ သားတို့အား ပေးလေ၏။
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country; and there he wasted his substance with riotous living.
၁၃ထိုနောက်များမကြာ၊ သားအငယ်သည် မိမိဥစ္စာများကို သိမ်းယူ၍ ဝေးစွာသောပြည်သို့ သွားပြီးလျှင်၊ ထိုပြည်မှာ ကာမဂုဏ်၌ လွန်ကျူးသောအားဖြင့် ဥစ္စာပြုန်းတီး၍၊
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country; and he began to be in want.
၁၄ရှိသမျှကုန်သောအခါ၊ ထိုပြည်၌ ကြီးစွာသောအစာခေါင်းပါးခြင်းဖြစ်၍၊ သူသည် အလွန်ဆင်းရဲခြင်းသို့ ရောက်၏။
15 And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
၁၅ထိုအခါ ပြည်သားတယောက်ထံသို့သွား၍ အစေခံလျှင်၊ ဝက်တို့ကို ကျောင်းစေခြင်းငှါ သူ့သခင်သည် တောသို့ စေလွှတ်သဖြင့်၊
16 And he would fain have been filled with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
၁၆သူသည် ဝက်စားတတ်သော ပဲ့တောင့်ကိုပင် စားချင်မတတ်ငတ်မွတ်လျက်နေရ၏။ အဘယ်သူမျှ အစာကို မကျွေး။
17 But when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish here with hunger!
၁၇ထိုအခါ သတိရလျှင်၊ ငါ့အဘ၏အိမ်၌ အခစားသောသူများတို့သည် ဝစွာစားရကြ၏။ ငါမူကား ဤ ပြည်၌သေအောင် အငတ်ခံရ၏။
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight:
၁၈ငါထ၍ အဘထံသို့ သွားမည်။ အဘ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို၎င်း ပြစ်မှား ပါပြီ။
19 I am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
၁၉ယခုမှစ၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏သားဟူ၍ ခေါ်ခြင်းကိုမခံထိုက်ပါ။ သူငှါးအရာ၌ အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ထားတော် မူပါဟု ငါပြောမည်ဟူ၍ အကြံရှိသည်နှင့်၊
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
၂၀ထ၍ အဘထံသို့ သွားလေ၏။ သွား၍ ဝေးသေးသောအခါ အဘသည် သူ့ကိုမြင်လျှင်၊ သနားသော စိတ်ရှိသည်နှင့် ပြေးသွား၍ သား၏လည်ပင်းကို ပိုက်ဘက်လျက် နမ်းရှုပ်လေ၏။
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight: I am no more worthy to be called thy son.
၂၁သားကလည်း၊ အဘ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို၎င်း ပြစ်မှားပါပြီ။ ယခုမှစ၍ ကိုယ်တော်၏သားဟူ၍ ခေါ်ခြင်းကို မခံထိုက်ပါဟုဆိုလျှင်၊
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth quickly the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
၂၂အဘက၊ မြတ်သောဝတ်လုံကို ယူခဲ့၍ သူ့ကို ခြုံကြ၊ သူ၏လက်၌ လက်စွပ်တန်ဆာကို ဆင်ကြ။
23 and bring the fatted calf, [and] kill it, and let us eat, and make merry:
၂၃ခြေနင်းကိုလည်း စီးစေကြ။ ဆူအောင်ကျွေးသော နွားကလေးကို ယူ၍သတ်ကြ။ သို့ပြီးမှ ငါတို့သည် စားကြကုန်အံ့။ ပျော်မွေ့ခြင်းကို ပြုကြကုန်အံ့။
24 for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
၂၄ငါ့သားသည်အထက်က သေ၏။ ယခုရှင်ပြန်၏။ အပါတို့ကို ဆိုပြီးမှ၊ ထိုသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ပျော်မွေ့ ခြင်းကို ပြုကြ၏။
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.
၂၅သားအကြီးသည် တောင်ယာကလာ၍ အိမ်အနီးသို့ရောက်သောအခါ၊ ကခြင်း၊ တီးမှုတ်ခြင်းအသံကို ကြားလျှင်၊
26 And he called to him one of the servants, and inquired what these things might be.
၂၆ငယ်သားတယောက်ကိုခေါ်၍ အဘယ်သို့သော အခြင်းအရာနည်းဟု မေး၏။
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
၂၇ငယ်သားက၊ သခင်၏ညီသည် ရောက်လာပါပြီ။ ဘေးနှင့်ကင်းလွတ်လျက်ရှိသည်ကို အဘတွေ့သော ကြောင့်၊ ဆူအောင်ကျွေးသော နွားကလေးကိုသတ်ပါပြီဟု ပြောဆို၏။ သားအကြီးသည် အမျက်ထွက်၍ အိမ်သို့ မဝင်ဘဲနေ၏။
28 But he was angry, and would not go in: and his father came out, and entreated him.
၂၈အဘသည် သူ့ဆီသို့သွား၍ ချော့မော့ရ၏။
29 But he answered and said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, and I never transgressed a commandment of thine: and [yet] thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
၂၉သားအကြီးကလည်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကာလတာရှည်စွာ အဘ၏ အစေကိုခံပါပြီ။ အဘ၏အလိုကို တခါမျှ မလွန်ကျူးပါ။ သို့သော်လည်း အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဆွေတို့နှင့်အူပျော်မွေ့ခြင်းကို ပြုစေခြင်းငှါ၊ အဘသည် ဆိတ်ကလေးတကောင်ကို တခါမျှ မပေး။
30 but when this thy son came, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou killedst for him the fatted calf.
၃၀ပြည်တန်ဆာမိန်းမတို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်၍ မိမိဥစ္စာကိုဖြုန်းသော ဤသားငယ်ရောက်လာသောအခါ မူကား၊ အဘသည် ဆူအောင်ကျွေးသော နွားကလေးကို သတ်လေပြီတကားဟု ဆို၏။
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that is mine is thine.
၃၁အဘကလည်း၊ ငါ့သား၊ သင်သည် ငါ့ထံမှာ အစဉ်နေ၏။ ငါ၏ဥစ္စာရှိသမျှသည် သင်၏ဥစ္စာဖြစ်၏။
32 But it was meet to make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive [again]; and [was] lost, and is found.
၃၂သင်၏ညီမူကား အထက်ကသေ၏။ ယခုရှင်ပြန်၏။ အထက်ကပျောက်၏။ ယခုတွေ့ပြန်၏။ ထိုကြောင့် ပျော်မွေ့ဝမ်းမြောက်စရာအကြောင်းရှိ၏။ အဘဆိုသည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
