Leviticus 13
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
Hierauf gebot der HERR dem Mose und dem Aaron folgendes:
2 When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it become in the skin of his flesh the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:
»Wenn sich bei einem Menschen auf seiner bloßen Haut eine Anschwellung oder ein Ausschlag oder ein heller Fleck bildet und sich so auf seiner Haut ein aussatzartiges Leiden entwickeln könnte, so soll der Betreffende zu dem Priester Aaron oder zu einem von dessen Söhnen, den Priestern, gebracht werden.
3 and the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and if the hair in the plague be turned white, and the appearance of the plague be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is the plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
Wenn dann der Priester die betroffene Stelle auf der Haut ansieht und dabei findet, daß die Haare auf der betroffenen Stelle weiß geworden sind und daß die betroffene Stelle tiefer liegend erscheint als die sie umgebende Haut, so handelt es sich um wirklichen Aussatz; und sobald der Priester dies wahrnimmt, soll er den Betreffenden für unrein erklären.
4 And if the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white, then the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the plague seven days:
Wenn sich aber ein weißer Fleck auf der Haut befindet, der nicht tiefer liegend erscheint als die ihn umgebende Haut und auf dem die Haare nicht weiß geworden sind, so soll der Priester den Betroffenen sieben Tage lang einschließen.
5 and the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if in his eyes the plague be at a stay, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
Wenn der Priester ihn dann am siebten Tage wieder untersucht und dabei findet, daß die betroffene Stelle sich in ihrem Aussehen gleichgeblieben ist, da das Übel sich auf der Haut nicht weiter ausgebreitet hat, so soll der Priester ihn noch einmal sieben Tage lang einschließen.
6 and the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be dim, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
Wenn dann der Priester ihn am siebten Tage wieder untersucht und dabei findet, daß die betroffene Stelle blässer geworden ist und das Übel sich auf der Haut nicht weiter ausgebreitet hat, so soll ihn der Priester für rein erklären: es ist nur ein gewöhnlicher Ausschlag; der Betreffende muß seine Kleider waschen und ist dann rein.
7 But if the scab spread abroad in the skin, after that he hath shewn himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall shew himself to the priest again:
Wenn aber der Ausschlag, nachdem der Betreffende, um rein zu werden, sich dem Priester gezeigt hat, auf der Haut immer weiter um sich greift, so soll er sich dem Priester zum zweitenmal zeigen;
8 and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab be spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is leprosy.
wenn ihn dann der Priester untersucht und dabei findet, daß der Ausschlag sich auf der Haut weiter ausgebreitet hat, so soll der Priester ihn für unrein erklären: es ist wirklicher Aussatz.«
9 When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;
»Wenn sich ein aussatzartiges Leiden an einem Menschen zeigt, so soll er zum Priester gebracht werden.
10 and the priest shall look, and, behold, if there be a white rising in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising,
Wenn der Priester ihn dann untersucht und dabei findet, daß sich eine weiße Anschwellung auf der Haut befindet, auf der die Haare weiß geworden sind, und daß wildes Fleisch auf der Anschwellung wuchert,
11 it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: he shall not shut him up; for he is unclean.
so ist das ein bereits veralteter Aussatz auf seiner Haut; darum soll der Priester ihn für unrein erklären, ohne ihn erst einzuschließen; denn er ist wirklich unrein.
12 And if the leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of [him that hath] the plague from his head even to his feet, as far as appeareth to the priest;
Wenn aber der Aussatz auf der Haut so wuchert, daß der Aussatz die ganze Haut des Betroffenen vom Kopf bis zu den Füßen überzieht, soweit die Augen des Priesters blicken mögen,
13 then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce [him] clean [that hath] the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
wenn also der Priester bei seiner Besichtigung findet, daß der Aussatz den ganzen Körper überzogen hat, so soll er den Betroffenen für rein erklären: er ist ganz und gar weiß geworden und daher rein.
14 But whensoever raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
Sobald sich aber wildes Fleisch an ihm sehen läßt, ist er unrein.
15 And the priest shall look on the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean: it is leprosy.
Sobald daher der Priester das wilde Fleisch wahrnimmt, soll er ihn für unrein erklären: das wilde Fleisch ist unrein, es ist wirklicher Aussatz.
16 Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, then he shall come unto the priest,
Wenn jedoch das wilde Fleisch wieder weggeht und der Betreffende wieder weiß wird, so soll er zum Priester gehen.
17 and the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white, then the priest shall pronounce [him] clean [that hath] the plague: he is clean.
Wenn dieser ihn dann untersucht und dabei findet, daß die kranke Stelle wieder weiß geworden ist, so soll der Priester den Betroffenen für rein erklären: er ist wirklich rein.«
18 And when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a boil, and it is healed,
»Wenn sich ferner an jemandes Leibe auf der Haut ein Geschwür bildet und wieder heilt,
19 and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shewed to the priest;
dann aber an der Stelle des Geschwürs eine weiße Anschwellung oder ein weiß-rötlicher Fleck entsteht, so soll der Betreffende sich dem Priester zeigen.
20 and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the appearance thereof be lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy, it hath broken out in the boil.
Wenn dieser ihn dann untersucht und dabei findet, daß die Stelle tiefer liegend erscheint als die sie umgebende Haut und daß die Haare darauf weiß geworden sind, so soll der Priester ihn für unrein erklären: es ist wirklicher Aussatz, der in dem Geschwür zum Ausbruch gekommen ist.
21 But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and it be not lower than the skin, but be dim, then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
Wenn aber der Priester bei der Besichtigung der Stelle findet, daß keine weißen Haare darauf vorhanden sind und daß der Fleck nicht tiefer liegt als die ihn umgebende Haut und blaß aussieht, so soll der Priester den Betreffenden sieben Tage lang einschließen.
22 And if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
Wenn sich dann (der Fleck) auf der Haut immer weiter ausgebreitet hat, so soll der Priester ihn für unrein erklären: es ist wirklicher Aussatz.
23 But if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread, it is the scar of the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
Wenn aber der Fleck ruhig stehengeblieben ist, ohne weiter um sich gegriffen zu haben, so ist es nur ein vernarbtes Geschwür, und der Priester darf ihn für rein erklären.«
24 Or when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a burning by fire, and the quick [flesh] of the burning become a bright spot, reddish-white, or white;
»Oder wenn sich auf jemandes Haut eine Brandwunde befindet und das in der Brandwunde sich bildende Fleisch einen weiß-rötlichen oder weißen Fleck darstellt
25 then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin; it is leprosy, it hath broken out in the burning: and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
und der Priester bei dessen Besichtigung findet, daß die Haare auf dem Fleck weiß geworden sind und (der Fleck) tiefer liegend erscheint als die ihn umgebende Haut, so liegt wirklicher Aussatz vor, der in der Brandwunde zum Ausbruch gekommen ist; darum soll der Priester den Betreffenden für unrein erklären: es ist wirklicher Aussatz.
26 But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the skin, but be dim; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
Wenn aber der Priester bei seiner Besichtigung findet, daß keine weißen Haare auf dem Fleck vorhanden sind und daß (der Fleck) nicht tiefer liegt als die ihn umgebende Haut und blaß aussieht, so soll der Priester den Betreffenden sieben Tage lang einschließen.
27 and the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
Wenn ihn dann der Priester am siebten Tage untersucht, so soll er, falls (der Fleck) sich auf der Haut weiter ausgebreitet hat, den Betreffenden für unrein erklären: es ist wirklicher Aussatz.
28 And if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread in the skin, but be dim; it is the rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is the scar of the burning.
Wenn aber der Fleck ruhig stehengeblieben ist, ohne auf der Haut weiter um sich gegriffen zu haben, und blaß aussieht, so liegt nur eine Anschwellung der Brandwunde vor; darum soll der Priester den Betreffenden für rein erklären, denn es ist nur eine vernarbte Brandwunde.«
29 And when a man or woman hath a plague upon the head or upon the beard,
»Wenn ferner ein Mann oder eine Frau einen Ausschlag am Kopf oder am Bart bekommt
30 then the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin, and there be in it yellow thin hair, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a scall, it is leprosy of the head or of the beard.
und der Priester bei der Untersuchung des Ausschlags findet, daß er tiefer liegend erscheint als die ihn umgebende Haut und daß sich feine, goldgelbe Haare darauf befinden, so soll der Priester den Betreffenden für unrein erklären: es ist bösartiger Grind, der Aussatz des Kopfes oder des Bartes.
31 And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and there be no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the plague of the scall seven days:
Wenn der Priester aber den bösen Grind besichtigt und dabei findet, daß (die kranke Stelle) zwar nicht tiefer liegend erscheint als die sie umgebende Haut, daß aber keine dunklen Haare darauf vorhanden sind, so soll der Priester den des Grindleidens Verdächtigen sieben Tage lang einschließen.
32 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall be not spread, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the appearance of the scall be not deeper than the skin,
Wenn dann der Priester die betroffene Stelle am siebten Tage wieder untersucht und dabei findet, daß der Grind sich nicht weiter ausgebreitet hat und keine goldgelben Haare darauf vorhanden sind und der Grind nicht tiefer liegend erscheint als die ihn umgebende Haut,
33 then he shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up [him that hath] the scall seven days more:
so soll der Betreffende sich scheren lassen – nur die grindige Stelle darf er nicht scheren –; und der Priester soll dann den des Grindleidens Verdächtigen noch einmal sieben Tage lang einschließen.
34 and in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
Wenn der Priester dann den Grind am siebten Tage wieder untersucht und dabei findet, daß der Grind sich auf der Haut nicht weiter ausgebreitet hat und daß er nicht tiefer liegend erscheint als die ihn umgebende Haut, so erkläre der Priester den Betreffenden für rein; er muß dann seine Kleider waschen und soll als rein gelten.
35 But if the scall spread abroad in the skin after his cleansing;
Wenn aber, nachdem der Betreffende für rein erklärt worden ist, der Grind sich auf der Haut weiter ausbreitet
36 then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for the yellow hair; he is unclean.
und der Priester bei der Untersuchung findet, daß der Grind auf der Haut weiter um sich gegriffen hat, so braucht der Priester nicht erst noch nach goldgelben Haaren zu suchen: der Betreffende ist unrein.
37 But if in his eyes the scall be at a stay, and black hair be grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
Ist der Grind sich aber in seinem Aussehen gleich geblieben und sind dunkle Haare darauf gewachsen, so ist der Grind geheilt: der Betreffende ist rein, und der Priester soll ihn für rein erklären.«
38 And when a man or a woman hath in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
»Wenn ferner ein Mann oder eine Frau auf der Haut helle Flecke, weiße, helle Flecke bekommen
39 then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be of a dull white; it is a tetter, it hath broken out in the skin; he is clean.
und der Priester bei seiner Untersuchung nur blasse, weiße Flecke auf ihrer Haut findet, so ist es ein ungefährlicher Ausschlag, der auf der Haut zum Ausbruch gekommen ist: der Betreffende ist rein.
40 And if a man’s hair be fallen off his head, he is bald; [yet] is he clean.
Wenn ferner einem Manne das Haupthaar ausgeht, so ist er ein Hinter-Kahlkopf: ein solcher ist rein;
41 And if his hair be fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald; [yet] is he clean.
und wenn ihm das Haupthaar nach der Gesichtsseite zu ausgeht, so ist er ein Vorder-Kahlkopf: ein solcher ist ebenfalls rein.
42 But if there be in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish-white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
Wenn sich aber vorn oder hinten auf seiner Glatze ein weiß-rötlicher Ausschlag zeigt, so ist es der Aussatz, der vorn oder hinten auf seiner Glatze zum Ausbruch gekommen ist.
43 Then the priest shall look upon him: and, behold, if the rising of the plague be reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh;
Wenn also der Priester bei seiner Untersuchung findet, daß die Anschwellung des Ausschlags vorn oder hinten auf seiner Glatze weiß-rötlich aussieht, wie sonst der Aussatz auf der Haut des Leibes aussieht,
44 he is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean; his plague is in his head.
so ist der Betreffende ein Aussätziger und daher unrein; der Priester muß ihn unbedingt für unrein erklären: er hat das Aussatzleiden an seinem Kopfe.«
45 And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
»Was nun den Aussätzigen betrifft, der dieses Leiden an sich hat, so soll er zerrissene Kleider tragen und sein Haupthaar ohne Pflege wachsen lassen; seinen Lippenbart soll er verhüllen und ›unrein! unrein!‹ ausrufen.
46 All the days wherein the plague is in him he shall be unclean; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his dwelling be.
Solange die Krankheit an ihm haftet, soll er unrein sein: er ist unrein und soll abgesondert wohnen; außerhalb des Lagers soll seine Wohnung sein.«
47 The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;
»Wenn ferner eine aussätzige Stelle an einem Kleidungsstück, es sei von Wolle oder von Leinen, zum Vorschein kommt
48 whether it be in warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;
oder an gewebten oder gewirkten Stoffen von Leinen oder von Wolle oder an einer Lederhaut oder an irgendeinem Gegenstand von Leder
49 if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:
und die betroffene Stelle an dem Kleide oder am Leder oder an dem gewebten oder gewirkten Stoff oder an irgendeinem Gegenstand von Leder grünlich oder rötlich aussieht, so liegt Aussatz vor, und man soll es vom Priester beschauen lassen.
50 and the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up [that which hath] the plague seven days:
Der Priester soll dann den vorliegenden Schaden beschauen und den betroffenen Gegenstand sieben Tage lang unter Verschluß halten.
51 and he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
Wenn er dann am siebten Tage bei der Besichtigung des betroffenen Gegenstandes findet, daß der Schaden an dem Kleidungsstück oder dem gewebten oder gewirkten Stoff oder am Leder – an irgendeinem Gegenstand, zu welchem Leder verarbeitet wird – weiter um sich gegriffen hat, so ist der Ausschlag ein bösartiger Aussatz: (der betreffende Gegenstand) ist unrein,
52 And he shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
und man soll das Kleidungsstück oder den gewebten oder gewirkten Stoff von Wolle oder von Leinen oder jeden ledernen Gegenstand, an dem der Aussatz haftet, verbrennen; denn es ist ein bösartiger Aussatz: (der betreffende Gegenstand) muß im Feuer verbrannt werden.
53 And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;
Wenn der Priester aber bei der Besichtigung findet, daß der Schaden an dem Kleidungsstück oder dem gewebten oder gewirkten Stoff oder an irgendeinem Gegenstand von Leder nicht weiter um sich gegriffen hat,
54 then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
so soll der Priester anordnen, daß man den Gegenstand, an welchem der Ausschlag haftet, wasche, und soll ihn dann noch einmal sieben Tage lang unter Verschluß halten.
55 and the priest shall look, after that the plague is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed its colour, and the plague be not spread, it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire: it is a fret, whether the bareness be within or without.
Wenn der Priester dann den betroffenen Gegenstand nach der Waschung besichtigt und dabei findet, daß die betroffene Stelle ihr Aussehen nicht verändert hat, so ist der Gegenstand, wenn auch der Ausschlag nicht weiter um sich gegriffen hat, dennoch unrein: du sollst ihn im Feuer verbrennen; es ist eine eingefressene Vertiefung auf seiner Hinter- oder seiner Vorderseite.
56 And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be dim after the washing thereof, then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:
Findet der Priester aber bei der Besichtigung, daß die betroffene Stelle nach der Waschung blaß geworden ist, so soll er sie aus dem Kleidungsstück oder dem Leder oder dem gewebten oder gewirkten Stoff herausreißen.
57 and if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin, it is breaking out: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
Wenn (der Ausschlag) aber wiederum an dem Kleidungsstück oder dem gewebten oder gewirkten Stoff oder an irgendeinem Gegenstande von Leder zum Vorschein kommt, so ist es ein frisch ausbrechender Aussatz; darum mußt du den (ganzen) Gegenstand, an dem der Ausschlag haftet, im Feuer vernichten.
58 And the garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
Das Kleidungsstück aber oder der gewebte oder gewirkte Stoff oder jeder lederne Gegenstand, an welchem der Ausschlag nach der Waschung verschwunden ist, muß noch einmal gewaschen werden und soll dann als rein gelten.«
59 This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or any thing of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
Dies sind die Vorschriften bezüglich des Aussatzes an Kleidungsstücken von Wolle oder von Leinen oder an gewebten oder gewirkten Stoffen oder an irgendeinem Gegenstand von Leder, um (derartige Sachen) für rein oder für unrein zu erklären.
