Isaiah 61
1 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to them that are bound;
Der Geist des Herrn Jehovah ist auf Mir, weil Jehovah Mich gesalbt, den Elenden Botschaft zu bringen, gesandt Mich, zu verbinden die gebrochenen Herzens sind, Freilassung auszurufen für die Gefangenen und für die Gebundenen Entfesselung.
2 to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Ein Jahr des Wohlgefallens auszurufen für Jehovah und einen Tag der Rache für unseren Gott, zu trösten alle Trauernden.
3 to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Den Trauernden in Zijon zu schaffen, ihnen zu geben Kopfschmuck statt Asche, Öl der Freude statt Trauer, ein Feierkleid des Lobes statt trüben Geistes, und nennen wird man sie Eichen der Gerechtigkeit, Jehovahs Pflanzung zur Verklärung.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Und aufbauen werden sie die Öden der Urzeit, aufrichten die früheren Verwüstungen, und erneuern die öden Städte, die Verwüstungen von Geschlecht und Geschlecht.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and aliens shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
Und Fremde werden stehen und eure Herde weiden, und des Auslandes Söhne eure Ackerleute und Winzer sein.
6 But ye shall be named the priests of the LORD: men shall call you the ministers of our God: ye shall eat the wealth of the nations, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
Und ihr werdet Jehovahs Priester genannt. Diener unseres Gottes wird man euch heißen. Ihr werdet das Vermögen der Völkerschaften essen, und euch brüsten ihrer Herrlichkeit.
7 For your shame [ye shall have] double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Statt eurer Scham wird euch Zwiefältiges; und für Schande sollen sie jubeln in ihrem Teil; darum sollen sie Zwiefältiges erblich besitzen in ihrem Lande; ewige Fröhlichkeit wird ihnen.
8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompence in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
Denn Ich, Jehovah, liebe das Recht, hasse das durch Verkehrtheit Entrissene und gebe in Wahrheit ihnen den Arbeitslohn und schlie-ße einen ewigen Bund mit ihnen.
9 And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
Und ihr Same soll kund werden unter den Völkerschaften, und ihre Sprößlinge inmitten der Völker, daß sie erkennen, alle die sie erkennen, daß sie der Same sind, den Jehovah segnete.
10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Mit Freude will ich mich freuen in Jehovah, meine Seele wird frohlocken in meinem Gott; denn mit Kleidern des Heils hat Er mich angetan, und mich umhüllt mit dem Mantel der Gerechtigkeit; wie ein Bräutigam sich priesterlich ziert mit dem Kopfschmuck und wie die Braut prangt mit ihrem Gerät.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Denn wie die Erde ihre Sprossen hervorbringt, und wie der Garten sein Gesäm Ü läßt sprossen, so läßt der Herr Jehovah sprossen Gerechtigkeit und Lob vor allen Völkerschaften.
