Ezekiel 14
1 Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.
೧ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಬಂದು,
2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
೨ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದನು,
3 Son of man, these men have taken their idols into their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?
೩“ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಪಾಪಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಈ ವಿಘ್ನವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಇಂಥವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ದೈವೋತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವುದು ಸರಿಯೆ? ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.”
4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Every man of the house of Israel that taketh his idols into his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him therein according to the multitude of his idols;
೪ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ತನ್ನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ತನಗೆ ಪಾಪಕಾರಿಯಾದ ವಿಘ್ನವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
5 that I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
೫ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಆಶಾಪಾಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವೆನು.”
6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Return ye, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
೬ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬೆನ್ನುಮಾಡಿರಿ.
7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and taketh his idols into his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet to inquire for himself of me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
೭“ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನೊಳಗೆ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ವಿದೇಶಿಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ, ತನ್ನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ತನಗೆ ಪಾಪಕಾರಿಯಾದ ವಿಘ್ನವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಮೂಲಕ ದೈವೋತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೋ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವೆನು.
8 and I will set my face against that man, and will make him an astonishment, for a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
೮ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಟ್ಟು ಗಾದೆಗಳಿಗೂ ವಸ್ತುವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕುವೆನು; ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.
9 And if the prophet be deceived and speaketh a word, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
೯“ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಮರುಳುಗೊಂಡು ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನುಡಿದರೆ, ಆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಮರುಳುಗೊಳಿಸಿದವನು ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ; ನಾನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಾದ ನನ್ನ ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ನಿರ್ನಾಮಮಾಡುವೆನು.
10 And they shall bear their iniquity: the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of him that seeketh [unto him];
೧೦ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ದೋಷವು ಎಷ್ಟೋ, ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಕೇಳುವವನ ದೋಷವೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ; ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ದೋಷ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು.
11 that the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither defile themselves any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.
೧೧ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರು ಇನ್ನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ತಮ್ಮ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿರುವರು, ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
12 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
೧೨ಆಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು,
13 Son of man, when a land sinneth against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out mine hand upon it, and break the staff of the bread thereof, and send famine upon it, and cut off from it man and beast;
೧೩“ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ, ಅದರ ಆಹಾರ ಸರಬರಾಜನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಕ್ಷಾಮವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಜನರನ್ನು, ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
14 though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
೧೪ನೋಹ, ದಾನಿಯೇಲ, ಯೋಬ ಎಂಬ ಮೂವರು ಪುರುಷರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸದಾಚಾರದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
15 If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts;
೧೫“ನನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟ ಮೃಗಗಳು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಾ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಜನಗೊಳ್ಳಿಸಿ, ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿ, ಯಾರೂ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ಹೆದರಿಸುವ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ,
16 though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.
೧೬ಈ ಮೂವರು ಪುರುಷರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ತಾವು ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೇ ಹೊರತು ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ದೇಶವು ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುದು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off from it man and beast;
೧೭“ಖಡ್ಗವೇ, ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಕ್ಕು ಹೋಗು ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ, ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು, ಜನ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ,
18 though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.
೧೮ಈ ಮೂವರು ಪುರುಷರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ತಾವು ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೇ ಹೊರತು ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:
೧೯“ನಾನು ಆ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ದು, ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಜನರನ್ನು, ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ,
20 though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
೨೦ನೋಹ, ದಾನಿಯೇಲ, ಯೋಬ ಎಂಬುವರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಸದಾಚಾರದಿಂದ ಸ್ವಂತಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೇ ಹೊರತು ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಮಗನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
21 For thus saith the Lord GOD: How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beasts, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
೨೧ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಾನು ಖಡ್ಗ, ಕ್ಷಾಮ, ದುಷ್ಟಮೃಗ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ಎಂಬ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಬಾಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ತಂದು, ಜನರನ್ನು, ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನು!
22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be carried forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
೨೨ಆದರೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪುರುಷರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಹೇಗೋ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಉಳಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು; ಆಹಾ, ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದಾಗ ನೀವು ಅವರ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗ, ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಕೇಡಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಡುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಹೊಂದುವಿರಿ.
23 And they shall comfort you, when ye see their way and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.
೨೩ನೀವು ಅವರ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗ, ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗುವುದು; ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬರುವುದು” ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
