Daniel 5
1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand.
| بێلشەسری پاشا خوانێکی گەورەی بۆ هەزار گەورە پیاوەکەی سازکرد و شەرابی لەگەڵیان خواردەوە. |
2 Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines, might drink therein.
| لەو کاتەی کە بێلشەسر شەرابەکەی دەنۆشی فەرمانی دا ئەو قاپوقاچاغە زێڕ و زیوە بهێنن کە نەبوخودنەسری باوکی لەو پەرستگایەی لە ئۆرشەلیمە دەریهێنابوون، بۆ ئەوەی پاشا و گەورە پیاو و ژن و کەنیزەکانی پێی بخۆنەوە. |
3 Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines, drank in them.
| ئینجا ئەو قاپوقاچاغە زێڕەیان هێنا کە لە پەرستگای ماڵی خودا لە ئۆرشەلیمەوە دەرهێنرابوو، پاشا و گەورە پیاو و ژن و کەنیزەکانی پێیان خواردەوە. |
4 They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
| شەرابیان دەخواردەوە و ستایشی خوداوەندە زێڕ و زیو و بڕۆنز و ئاسن و دار و بەردینەکانیان دەکرد. |
5 In the same hour came forth the fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.
| لەناکاو پەنجەکانی دەستێکی مرۆڤانە دەرکەوت و لەسەر گەچی دیوارەکەی کۆشکی پاشا لەتەنیشت چرادانەکە دەستی بە نووسین کرد، پاشاش تەماشای دەستەکەی کرد کە دەینووسی. |
6 Then the king’s countenance was changed in him, and his thoughts troubled him; and the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.
| ئینجا ڕەنگی پاشا پەڕی و بیرکردنەوەکانی تۆقاندیان و قاچەکانی هێزیان لێ برا و ئەژنۆکانی کەوتنە لەرزین. |
7 The king cried aloud to bring in the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. The king spake and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
| پاشا بە دەنگی بەرز هاواری کرد کە ئەفسونگەر و ئەستێرەناس و فاڵگرەوەکان بهێننە ژوورەوە. پاشا بەم دانایانەی بابلی گوت: «هەر پیاوێک ئەو نووسینە بخوێنێتەوە و بۆم لێکبداتەوە، ئەوا جلی ڕەنگی ئەرخەوانی لەبەر دەکرێت، ملوانکەی زێڕیش لە ملی دەکرێت و لە پاشایەتییەکەدا دەبێتە سێیەم دەسەڵاتدار.» |
8 Then came in all the king’s wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation.
| ئینجا هەموو داناکانی پاشا چوونە ژوورەوە، بەڵام نەیانتوانی نووسینەکە بخوێننەوە و بۆ پاشا لێکی بدەنەوە. |
9 Then was king Belshazzar greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed in him, and his lords were perplexed.
| لەبەر ئەوە بێلشەسر زۆر ترسا و ڕەنگی گۆڕا و گەورە پیاوەکانیش شڵەژان. |
10 [Now] the queen by reason of the words of the king and his lords came into the banquet house: the queen spake and said, O king, live for ever; let not thy thoughts trouble thee, nor let thy countenance be changed:
| بەڵام شاژنی دایک لەبەر دەنگی پاشا و گەورە پیاوانی چووە هۆڵی خوانەکە، شاژن بە پاشای گوت: «ئەی پاشا، هەتاهەتایە هەر بژی! با بیرکردنەوەکانت نەتترسێنن و ڕەنگت نەگۆڕێت! |
11 There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him: and the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, [I say], thy father, made him master of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
| لە پاشایەتییەکەتدا پیاوێک هەیە ڕۆحی خودا پیرۆزەکانی تێدایە، لە سەردەمی باوکت ڕووناکبیری و زیرەکی و داناییەکی وەک دانایی خوداوەندەکانی تێدا بەدی کراوە. نەبوخودنەسری پاشای باوکت کردی بە گەورەی جادووگەر و ئەفسونگەر و ئەستێرەناس و فاڵگرەوەکان. |
12 forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of dark sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.
| ئەو پیاوە دانیالە، کە پاشا ناوی لێناوە بێلتەشەسر، کە ڕۆحێکی تەواو و زانین و زیرەکی و لێکدانەوەی خەون و هەڵهێنانی مەتەڵ و چارەسەرکردنی گیروگرفتی تێدا بینراوە. با ئێستا دانیال بانگ بکرێت و لێکی بداتەوە.» |
13 Then was Daniel brought in before the king. The king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Judah?
| ئینجا دانیال هێنرایە بەردەم پاشا، پاشاش پێی گوت: «ئایا تۆ ئەو دانیالەی کە لە نەوە ڕاپێچکراوەکانی یەهودایت، ئەوەی پاشای باوکم لە یەهوداوە هێنای؟ |
14 I have heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.
| بیستوومە کە ڕۆحی خوداوەندەکان و ڕووناکبیری و زیرەکی و دانایی تەواوت تێدایە. |
15 And now the wise men, the enchanters, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing.
| ئێستاش دانا و ئەفسونگەرەکان بۆ بەردەمم هێنرانە ژوورەوە، بۆ ئەوەی ئەم نووسینە بخوێننەوە و پێم بڵێن مەبەستی چییە، بەڵام نەیانتوانی لێکی بدەنەوە. |
16 But I have heard of thee, that thou canst give interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
| من بیستوومە کە تۆ دەتوانیت شت لێکبدەیتەوە و نهێنییە شاراوەکان ئاشکرا بکەیت. ئەگەر ئێستا توانیت ئەو نووسینە بخوێنیتەوە و بۆم لێکبدەیتەوە، ئەوا جلی ڕەنگ ئەرخەوانیت لەبەر دەکرێت و ملوانکەی زێڕیش لە ملت دەکرێت و لە پاشایەتییەکەدا دەبیتە سێیەم دەسەڵاتدار.» |
17 Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; nevertheless I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.
| دانیالیش وەڵامی پاشای دایەوە: «با دیارییەکانت بۆ خۆت بن و پاداشتەکانت بە کەسێکی دیکە بدە، بەڵام من نووسینەکە بۆ پاشا دەخوێنمەوە و بۆی لێکدەدەمەوە. |
18 O thou king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father the kingdom, and greatness, and glory, and majesty:
| «ئەی پاشا، خودای هەرەبەرز پاشایەتی و گەورەیی و شکۆمەندی و هێزی دایە نەبوخودنەسری باوکت. |
19 and because of the greatness that he gave him, all the peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew, and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he raised up, and whom he would he put down.
| بەهۆی ئەو گەورەییەی کە پێیدا، هەموو گەلان و نەتەوەکان و خەڵکی هەموو زمانەکان لەبەردەمی دەتۆقین و دەلەرزین. ئەوەی ویستی کوشتی و ئەوەی ویستی بە زیندوویی هێشتییەوە و ئەوەی ویستی بەرزی کردەوە و ئەوەی ویستی نزمی کردەوە. |
20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
| بەڵام کاتێک دڵی بە فیز بوو و کەللە ڕەق بوو، لە تەختی پاشایەتی هێنرایە خوارەوە و شکۆیەکەی لێسەنرایەوە. |
21 and he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses; he was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven: until he knew that the Most High God ruleth in the kingdom of men, and that he setteth up over it whomsoever he will.
| لەنێو خەڵکدا دەرکرا و مێشکی وەک مێشکی ئاژەڵی لێهات، لەگەڵ کەرەکێوی دەژیا و وەک گا گژوگیای دەخوارد، لەشی بە شەونمی ئاسمان تەڕبوو، هەتا دانی بەوەدا نا کە خودای هەرەبەرز دەسەڵاتی لەسەر پاشایەتی مرۆڤدا هەیە، دەیدات بەوەی خواستی خۆیەتی. |
22 And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;
| «بەڵام تۆ ئەی بێلشەسری کوڕی، لەگەڵ ئەوەی هەموو ئەمەت زانی، خۆتت نزم نەکردووەتەوە. |
23 but hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou and thy lords, thy wives and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
| بەڵکو خۆتت لە پەروەردگاری ئاسمان بە بەرزتر زانی، قاپوقاچاغەکانی پەرستگاکەی ئەویان هێنایە بەردەمت و تۆش خۆت و گەورە پیاوان و ژنەکانت و کەنیزەکانت تێیاندا شەرابتان خواردەوە. ستایشی بتە زێڕ و زیو و بڕۆنز و ئاسن و دار و بەردەکانت کرد، کە نابینن و تێناگەن و نازانن. بەڵام خودا ئەوەی هەناسەی تۆ و هەموو ڕێگاکانت بە دەستی ئەوە، ئەوت شکۆدار نەکرد. |
24 Then was the part of the hand sent from before him, and this writing was inscribed.
| لەبەر ئەوە ئەو دەستە لەلای ئەوەوە نێردرا و ئەم نووسینەی نووسی. |
25 And this is the writing that was inscribed, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
| «ئەمە ئەو نووسینەیە کە نووسراوە: مەنێ، مەنێ، تەقێل و پەرسین. |
26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and brought it to an end.
| «ئەمەش لێکدانەوەی وشەکانە: |
27 TEKEL; thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
| تەقێل: بە تەرازووەکان کێشرایت و نەقوستان دەرچوویت. |
28 PERES; thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
| پەرس: پاشایەتییەکەت دابەش کرا و درایە ماد و فارس.» |
29 Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with purple, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
| ئینجا بێلشەسر فەرمانی دا جلی ڕەنگی ئەرخەوانی لەبەر دانیال بکەن و ملوانکەی زێڕیش لە ملی بکەن و جاڕبدەن کە لە پاشایەتییەکەدا بووە سێیەم دەسەڵاتدار. |
30 In that night Belshazzar the Chaldean king was slain.
| هەر لەو شەوەدا بێلشەسری پاشای بابلییەکان کوژرا، |
31 And Darius the Mede received the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.
| داریوشی ماد لە تەمەنی شەست و دوو ساڵیدا دەستی بەسەر پاشایەتییەکەدا گرت. |
