< Acts 26 >

1 And Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth his hand, and made his defence:
Bosi Angilipa wukamba Polo: —Beki minsua mu kukivovila. Bosi Polo wunonuna koko kuandi ayi wukivavila:
2 I think myself happy, king Agrippa, that I am to make my defence before thee this day touching all the things whereof I am accused by the Jews:
—A mueni ntinu Angilipa, khini ndimmona buabu bu wupheni minsua mu samba va ntualꞌaku mu mambu moso momo Bayuda bamfundidi,
3 especially because thou art expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.
bila ngeyo zebi bumboti bifu biawu ayi ziphaka ziawu. Lemvuka mueni, kanga ntima mu kungua bu ndieka ntuba.
4 My manner of life then from my youth up, which was from the beginning among mine own nation, and at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;
Bayuda boso bazebi buevi bubela nzingulu ama tona mu kimuana kiama ayi buevi ndizingila tona vana thonono va khatitsika tsi ama ayi ku Yelusalemi.
5 having knowledge of me from the first, if they be willing to testify, how that after the straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
Bawu banzebi tona thama ayi enati batidi, balenda telama kimbangi ti minu ndizingila banga Mfalisi, boso buididi dikabu dieti landakana bumboti minsiku mi kinzambi kieto.
6 And now I stand [here] to be judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers;
Vayi buabu ndilembo sambi mu diambu di diana diama didi mu tsilayoyi Nzambi kavana bakulu beto.
7 unto which [promise] our twelve tribes, earnestly serving [God] night and day, hope to attain. And concerning this hope I am accused by the Jews, O king!
Dikumi ayi makanda meto muadi meti tula diana mu mona ndungusulu yi tsila yoyi; bu beti sadila Nzambi mu kambu vongabuilu ayi muini. A ntinu, mu diambu di diana diodi Bayuda bamfundidi!
8 Why is it judged incredible with you, if God doth raise the dead?
Vayi bila mbi lunkambu wilukila ti Nzambi wumfulukisanga batu bafua e?
9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
Mu diambu diama, ndiyindula mu vanga mamo mafueni mu diambu di kakidila dizina di Yesu, muisi Nazaleti.
10 And this I also did in Jerusalem: and I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death, I gave my vote against them.
Buawu bobo ndivanga mu Yelusalemi. Banlongo bawombo ndikotisa mu nloko bu ndibaka lutumunu kuidi bapfumu banganga Nzambi. Bosi mu thangu baba mvondo, ndikikinina ti bafua.
11 And punishing them oftentimes in all the synagogues, I strove to make them blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto foreign cities.
Zikhumbu ziwombo ndiba vana thumbudulu mu zinzo zi zikhutukunumu kuba kuika bafinga Yesu. Zinganzi bu ziviokila ngolo, mu diambu diawu, ndiba yamisa nate mu mavula manzenza.
12 Whereupon as I journeyed to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests,
Bu ndiba kuenda ku Damasi mu diambu diodi mu lulendo ayi mu minsua miomi nditambula kuidi bapfumu zi zinganga Nzambi.
13 at midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them that journeyed with me.
A ntinu, mu nzila mu thangu midi, ndimona kiezila kingolo biba ku diyilu kilezama viokila kiezila ki thangu, kinzungidila minu ayi batu bobo baba yama mu nzila.
14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying unto me in the Hebrew language, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the goad.
Beto boso tubua va tsi, ndiwa mbembo yiba kukhamba mambu mu ki Ebelewo: “A Sawuli! A Sawuli! Bila mbi wulembo ndiamisinanga e? A keti wulembo kilueki ngeyo veka bu wulembo diatilanga ba e?”
15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Buna ndinyuvula: “A Pfumu, ngeyo widi nani e?” Bosi Pfumu wutuba: “Minu Yesu diodi weti yamisanga.
16 But arise, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I appeared unto thee, to appoint thee a minister and a witness both of the things wherein thou hast seen me, and of the things wherein I will appear unto thee;
Vayi vumbuka, ayi telama, bila ndimonikini muingi wuba kisadi kiama ayi mbangi mu diambu di mambu mama mueni ayi mu diambu di mambu momo ndiela kumonisa.
17 delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom I send thee,
Minu ndiela kukula va khatitsika batu baku ayi kuidi Bapakanu; kuidi bawu ndiela kufidisa
18 to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.
muingi wuba zibula meso mawu; babotuka mu tombi mu kuiza ku kiezila; babotuka mu mioko mi Satana mu kuiza kuidi Nzambi muingi batambula ndemvokolo mu masumu mawu ayi batambula kiuka va kimosi ayi bobo bavedusu mu minu kiawu mu minu.”
19 Wherefore, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
A ntinu Angilipa, ndisia manga ko tumukina tsongolo yoyo yiba ku Diyilu.
20 but declared both to them of Damascus first, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judaea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.
Vayi ndituama samunina theti batu bobo badi ku Damasi, ayi bobobadi ku Yelusalemi ayi mu zunga kioso ki Yuda, ayi kuidi Bapakanu muingi babalula mavanga mawu; ayi babaluka kuidi Nzambi mu vanga mavanga mammonisa ti bukiedika babaludi mavanga.
21 For this cause the Jews seized me in the temple, and assayed to kill me.
Mu bila kioki Bayuda balembo tombi kuphonda bu bakhanga muna Nzo Nzambi.
22 Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand unto this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses did say should come;
Vayi bu nditambula lusadusu lu Nzambi, diawu ndikidi zingila nate lumbu kiaki, mu telama kimbangi kuidi batu ba luvalu ayi batu baphamba. Ndilonga kaka mambu momo mayolukila mimbikudi ayi Moyize ti mafueti vangama.
23 how that the Christ must suffer, [and] how that he first by the resurrection of the dead should proclaim light both to the people and to the Gentiles.
Klisto kafueti mona ziphasi ayi bu kela ba mutu wutheti mu fuluka mu bafua, buna kafueti samuna kiezila kuidi Bayuda ayi kuidi Bapakanu.
24 And as he thus made his defence, Festus saith with a loud voice, Paul, thou art mad; thy much learning doth turn thee to madness.
Polo bu kaba samba, mu diambu di kukivavila; Fesitusi wutuba mu mbembo yingolo: —A Polo, lawukidi! Diela diaku diwombo diawu dilawukisidi!
25 But Paul saith, I am not mad, most excellent Festus; but speak forth words of truth and soberness.
Vayi Polo wuvutula: —A mueni Fesitusi, ndisi dilawu ko. Mambu ma ndintuba madi makiedika ayi ma mfunu
26 For the king knoweth of these things, unto whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things is hidden from him; for this hath not been done in a corner.
bila Ntinu zebi mambu beni. Ndilembo tubi mu bukhafi va ntualꞌandibila nzebi kuama ti zebi mamoso mama bila masi vangimina mu nsueki ko!
27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.
A Ntinu Angilipa, weta wilukila mimbikudi e? Nzebi ti weta wilukila!
28 And Agrippa [said] unto Paul, With but little persuasion thou wouldest fain make me a Christian.
Angilipa wukamba Polo: —Mu thangu yikhufi tidi kukhitula nkua Klisto.
29 And Paul [said], I would to God, that whether with little or with much, not thou only, but also all that hear me this day, might become such as I am, except these bonds.
Polo wumvutudila: —Buba mu thangu yikhufi voti mu thangu yimula, ndinlomba kuidi Nzambi, bika sia ti ngeyo kaka vayi baboso balembo ngui buabu, luba banga minu, botula kaka zisieni ziazi.
30 And the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them:
Bosi Ntinu, wutelama va kimosi ayi nyadi, Belinisi ayi batu boso bavuanda yawu.
31 and when they had withdrawn, they spake one to another, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
Bu batotuka, batubasana bawu na bawu: —Mutu wawu kasi vanga diambu di kafueti vondolo ko voti di kafueti kangulu mu zisieni ko.
32 And Agrippa said unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar.
Buna Angilipa wukamba Fesitusi: —Mutu wawu fueni yekolo enati kasi lomba kuenda sambi va ntuala Sezali ko.
