1 Chronicles 9

1 So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel: and Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their transgression.

൧യിസ്രായേൽ മുഴുവനും വംശാവലിയായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു; അത് യിസ്രായേൽ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. യെഹൂദയെയോ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം നിമിത്തം പ്രവാസികളായി ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

2 Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.

൨അവരുടെ അവകാശത്തിലും പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആദ്യനിവാസികൾ യിസ്രായേല്യരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.

3 And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim and Manasseh;

൩യെരൂശലേമിലോ ചില യെഹൂദ്യരും ബെന്യാമീന്യരും എഫ്രയീമ്യരും മനശ്ശെയരും താമസിച്ചു.

4 Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.

൪അവർ: യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ പേരെസ്സിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ ബാനിയുടെ മകനായ ഇമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ ഒമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകൻ ഊഥായി;

5 And of the Shilonites; Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.

൫ശീലോന്യരിൽ ആദ്യജാതനായ അസായാവും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും;

6 And of the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.

൬സേരെഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ യെയൂവേലും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുമായ അറുനൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറുപേരും (690)

7 And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;

൭ബെന്യാമീൻ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഹസ്സെനൂവയുടെ മകനായ ഹോദവ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ സല്ലൂവും

8 and Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;

൮യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകനായ യിബ്നെയാവും മിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ ഉസ്സിയുടെ മകൻ ഏലയും യിബ്നെയാവിന്റെ മകനായ രെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെഫത്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ മെശുല്ലാമും

9 and their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were heads of fathers [houses] by their fathers’ houses.

൯തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തി അമ്പത്താറ്പേരും. ഈ പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കെയും അവരവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു.

10 And of the priests; Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin;

൧൦പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ യെദയാവും യെഹോയാരീബും യാഖീനും,

11 and Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam; the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;

൧൧അഹീത്തൂബിന്റെ മകനായ മെരായോത്തിന്റെ മകനായ സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി ദൈവാലയാധിപനായ

12 and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;

൧൨അസര്യാവും, മല്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ പശ്ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകൻ അദായാവും, ഇമ്മേരിന്റെ മകനായ മെശില്ലേമീത്തിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ യഹ്സേരയുടെ മകനായ അദീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ മയശായിയും

13 and their brethren, heads of their fathers’ houses, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.

൧൩പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ആകെ ആയിരത്തി എഴുനൂറ്റി അറുപത്പേർ. ഇവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്ക് അതിസമർത്ഥർ ആയിരുന്നു.

14 And of the Levites; Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;

൧൪ലേവ്യരിലോ മെരാര്യരിൽ ഹശബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ അസ്രീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹശ്ശൂബിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവും

15 and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;

൧൫ബക്ബക്കരും ഹേറെശും ഗാലാലും ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ മീഖയുടെ മകൻ മത്ഥന്യാവും

16 and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.

൧൬യെദൂഥൂന്റെ മകനായ ഗാലാലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ഓബദ്യാവും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന എല്ക്കാനയുടെ മകനായ

17 And the porters; Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief;

൧൭ആസയുടെ മകൻ ബെരെഖ്യാവും ആയിരുന്നു. വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി ശല്ലൂമും അക്കൂബും തൽമോനും അഹീമാനും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ശല്ലൂമും അവരുടെ തലവനായിരുന്നു.

18 who hitherto [waited] in the king’s gate eastward: they were the porters for the camp of the children of Levi.

൧൮ലേവ്യപാളയത്തിൽ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായ ഇവർ കിഴക്ക് വശത്ത് രാജപടിവാതില്ക്കൽ ഇന്നുവരെ കാവൽചെയ്തുവരുന്നു.

19 And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers had been over the camp of the LORD, keepers of the entry;

൧൯കോരഹിന്റെ മകനായ എബ്യാസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ കോരേയുടെ മകൻ ശല്ലൂമും, അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിലെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ കോരഹ്യരും കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ പാളയത്തിന് പ്രവേശനപാലകരായി മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു.

20 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, [and] the LORD was with him.

൨൦എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകനായ ഫീനെഹാസ് പണ്ടു അവരുടെ അധിപനായിരുന്നു; യഹോവ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

21 Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tent of meeting.

൨൧മെശേലെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഖര്യാവു സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കൽ കാവല്ക്കാരനായിരുന്നു.

22 All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.

൨൨വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഇവർ ആകെ ഇരുനൂറ്റി പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേർ (212). അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ വംശാവലിപ്രകാരം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു; ദാവീദും ദർശകനായ ശമൂവേലും ആയിരുന്നു അവരെ നിയമിച്ചത്.

23 So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, even the house of the tabernacle, by wards.

൨൩ഇങ്ങനെ അവരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും കൂടാരനിവാസമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾക്കു മുറപ്രകാരം കാവല്ക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

24 On the four sides were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.

൨൪കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറും വടക്കും തെക്കും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലുവശത്തും ആലയത്തിന് കാവല്ക്കാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

25 And their brethren, and their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:

൨൫ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലെ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഏഴ് ദിവസം കൂടുംതോറും മാറി മാറി വന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ കാവല്ക്കാരായിരുന്നു.

26 for the four chief porters, who were Levites, were in a set office, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.

൨൬വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളായ ഈ നാല് ലേവ്യരും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായി ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ മുറികൾക്കും ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നും മേൽനോട്ടം നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.

27 And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge [thereof] was upon them, and to them pertained the opening thereof morning by morning.

൨൭കാവൽ നിൽക്കുന്നതും രാവിലെതോറും വാതിൽ തുറക്കുന്ന ജോലിയും അവർക്കുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും താമസിച്ചുവന്നു.

28 And certain of them had charge of the vessels of service; for by tale were they brought in and by tale were they taken out.

൨൮അവരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ ചുമതല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവയെ എണ്ണി അകത്ത് കൊണ്ടുപോകുകയും പുറത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവരികയും ചെയ്യും.

29 Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices:

൨൯അവരിൽ ചിലരെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും സകലവിശുദ്ധപാത്രങ്ങൾക്കും, മാവ്, വീഞ്ഞ്, കുന്തുരുക്കം, സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗം എന്നിവയ്ക്കും മേൽനോട്ടക്കാരായി നിയമിച്ചിരുന്നു.

30 And some of the sons of the priests prepared the confection of the spices.

൩൦പുരോഹിതപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ സുഗന്ധതൈലം ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

31 And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were baked in pans.

൩൧ലേവ്യരിൽ ഒരുവനായ കോരഹ്യനായ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ മത്ഥിഥ്യാവിന് ചട്ടികളിൽ ചുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയ സാധനങ്ങളുടെ മേൽനോട്ടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

32 And some of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.

൩൨കെഹാത്യരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും കാഴ്ചയപ്പം ഒരുക്കുവാനുള്ള ചുമതല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

33 And these are the singers, heads of fathers’ [houses] of the Levites, [who dwelt] in the chambers [and were] free [from other service]: for they were employed in their work day and night.

൩൩ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രധാനികളായ ഇവർ സംഗീതക്കാരായി അവിടെ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവർ രാവും പകലും തങ്ങളുടെ വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടിയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു മറ്റു ശുശ്രൂഷകളിൽനിന്ന് ഒഴിവുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.

34 These were heads of fathers’ [houses] of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men: these dwelt at Jerusalem.

൩൪ഈ പ്രധാനികൾ ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.

35 And in Gibeon there dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife’s name was Maacah:

൩൫ഗിബെയോനിൽ ഗിബെയോന്റെ പിതാവായ യെയീയേലും ഭാര്യ മയഖായും

36 and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab;

൩൬അവന്റെ മൂത്തമകൻ അബ്ദോൻ, സൂർ, കീശ്, ബാൽ, നേർ,

37 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.

൩൭നാദാബ്, ഗെദോർ, അഹ്യോ, സെഖര്യാവ്, മിക്ലോത്ത് എന്നിവരും താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.

38 And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against their brethren.

൩൮മിക്ലോത്ത് ശിമെയാമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു

39 And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-shua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

൩൯നേർ കീശിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; കീശ് ശൌലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ശൌല്‍ യോനാഥാനെയും മല്‍ക്കീശൂവയെയും അബീനാദാബിനെയും എശ്-ബാലിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

40 And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal begat Micah.

൪൦യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ മെരീബ്ബാൽ; മെരീബ്ബാൽ മീഖയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

41 And the sons of Micah; Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea, [and Ahaz].

൪൧മീഖയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പീഥോൻ, മേലെക്, തഹ്രേയ, ആഹാസ്.

42 And Ahaz begat Jarah; and Jarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza:

൪൨ആഹാസ് യാരയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യാരാ അലേമെത്തിനെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിനെയും സിമ്രിയെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സിമ്രി മോസയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

43 and Moza begat Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:

൪൩മോസ ബിനെയയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന്റെ മകൻ രെഫയാവു; അവന്റെ മകൻ എലാസാ; അവന്റെ മകൻ ആസേൽ.

44 And Azel had six sons, whose names are these; Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Azel.

൪൪ആസേലിന് ആറ് മക്കൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പേരുകൾ: അസ്രീക്കാം, ബെക്രൂ, യിശ്മായേൽ, ശെയര്യാവു, ഓബദ്യാവു, ഹാനാൻ; ഇവർ ആസേലിന്റെ മക്കൾ.
