1 Chronicles 25
1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of them that did the work according to their service was:

2 of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph; under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied after the order of the king.
des fils d'Asaph: Zaccur et Joseph et Nethania et Asarèla, fils d'Asaph, subordonnés à Asaph qui exécutait sous les ordres du roi;
3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six; under the hands of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the LORD.
de Jeduthun, les fils de Jeduthun: Gedalia et Tseri et Esaïe, Hasabia et Matthithia [et Siméï], six sous les ordres de leur père Jeduthun qui jouait du luth pour célébrer et louer l'Éternel;
4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth:
d'Heiman, les fils d'Heiman: Buchia et Matthania, Uzziel, Sebul et Jerimoth, Hanania, Hanani, Eliatha, Giddalthi et Romamethi-Ezer, Josbecasa, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahezioth,
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
tout autant de fils d'Heiman, Voyant du roi, suivant l'ordre de Dieu pour sonner du cor; et Dieu accorda à Heiman quatorze fils et trois filles:
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.
tous ils étaient sous la conduite de leur père aux concerts du Temple de l'Éternel, avec des cymbales, des harpes et des luths pour le service de la maison de Dieu: sous la conduite du roi étaient Asaph et Jeduthun et Heiman.
7 And the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in singing unto the LORD, even all that were skilful, was two hundred fourscore and eight.
Et leur nombre, y compris leurs frères formés au chœur de l'Éternel, tous les habiles, était de deux cent quatre-vingt-huit.
8 And they cast lots for their charges, all alike, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
Et ils tirèrent au sort leur office, sur le même pied, petit et grand, habile et élève.
9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah; he and his brethren and sons were twelve:
Et le premier bulletin sortit pour Asaph [c'est-à-dire] Joseph [son fils]; pour Gedalia le second, pour lui et ses frères et fils, douze;
10 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le troisième pour Zaccur, ses fils et frères, douze;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le quatrième pour Jitseri (Tseri), ses fils et frères, douze;
12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:

13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le sixième pour Buckia, ses fils et frères, douze;
14 the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:

15 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons mad his brethren, twelve:
le huitième pour Ésaïe, ses fils et frères, douze;
16 the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le neuvième pour Matthania, ses fils et frères, douze;
17 the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le dixième pour Siméï, ses fils et frères, douze;
18 the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le onzième pour Azaréel (Uzziel), ses fils et frères, douze;
19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le douzième pour Hasabia, ses fils et frères, douze;
20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le treizième pour Subaël (Sebuël), ses fils et frères, douze;
21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le quatorzième pour Matthithia, ses fils et frères, douze;
22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le quinzième pour Jerémoth, ses fils et frères, douze;
23 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le seizième pour Hanania, ses fils et frères, douze;
24 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le dix-septième pour Josbecasa, ses fils et frères, douze;
25 for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le dix-huitième pour Hanani, ses fils et frères, douze;
26 for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le dix-neuvième pour Maltothi, ses fils et frères, douze;
27 for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le vingtième pour Eliath, ses fils et frères, douze;
28 for the one and twentieth to Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le vingt-unième pour Hothir, ses fils et frères, douze;
29 for the two and twentieth to Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le vingt-deuxième pour Giddalthi, ses fils et frères, douze;
30 for the three and twentieth to Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
le vingt-troisième pour Mahezioth, ses fils et frères, douze;
31 for the four and twentieth to Romamti-ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
