1 Chronicles 19

1 And it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his stead.

دوای ماوەیەک ناحاشی پاشای عەمۆنییەکان مرد و کوڕەکەی لەدوای ئەو بوو بە پاشا.

2 And David said, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father shewed kindness to me. So David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. And David’s servants came into the land of the children of Ammon to Hanun, to comfort him.

داود گوتی: «لەگەڵ حانوونی کوڕی ناحاش دڵسۆز دەبم، چونکە باوکی لەگەڵم دڵسۆز بوو.» لەبەر ئەوە داود شاندێکی نارد بۆ ئەوەی سەرەخۆشی لە حانوون بکەن سەبارەت بە باوکی. کاتێک شاندەکەی داود هاتنە لای حانوون لە خاکی عەمۆنییەکان بۆ ئەوەی سەرەخۆشی لێ بکەن،

3 But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?

میرەکانی عەمۆنییەکان بە حانوونیان گوت: «تۆ لەو باوەڕەدایت کە داود لەبەر ڕێزگرتن لە باوکت شاندی ناردووە بۆ ئەوەی سەرەخۆشیت لێ بکات؟ ئایا خزمەتکارەکانی بۆ پشکنین و سەرەوژێرکردن و سیخوڕیکردن بەسەر خاکەکەوە نەهاتوون بۆ لات؟»

4 So Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them away.

ئیتر حانوون پیاوەکانی داودی گرت و ڕیشی تاشین، جلەکانیشیان لە نیوەوە هەتا پاشەڵیانی دادڕی و بەڕەڵای کردن.

5 Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them; for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.

کاتێک هەندێک کەس چوون و سەبارەت بەو پیاوانە بە داودیان ڕاگەیاند، ئەویش چەند کەسێکی نارد بۆ پێشوازییان، چونکە پیاوەکان زۆر شەرمیان دەکرد، پاشاش گوتی: «هەتا ڕیشتان دێتەوە لە ئەریحا بمێننەوە، ئینجا بگەڕێنەوە.»

6 And when the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Aram-maacah, and out of Zobah.

کاتێک عەمۆنییەکان بینییان لەلایەن داودەوە قێزەون بوون، حانوون و عەمۆنییەکان هەزار تالنت زیویان نارد بۆ ئەوەی لە ئارامییەکانی دوو ڕووبار و لە ئارامییەکانی مەعکا و لە چۆڤا گالیسکە و گالیسکەسوار بەکرێ بگرن.

7 So they hired them thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maacah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together from their cites, and came to battle.

جا سی و دوو هەزار گالیسکە و گالیسکەسواریان بەکرێ گرت، هەروەها پاشای مەعکا لەگەڵ سوپاکەی هات و لە بەرامبەر مادەبا دامەزران، عەمۆنییەکانیش لە شارۆچکەکانیانەوە کۆبوونەوە و هاتن بۆ جەنگ.

8 And when David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the host of the mighty men.

کاتێک داود ئەمەی بیستەوە یۆئاب و هەموو سوپا شەڕکەرەکانی نارد.

9 And the children of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array at the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field.

عەمۆنییەکان هاتنە دەرەوە و لە دەمی دەروازەی شارەکەیان بۆ جەنگ ڕیزیان بەست، بەڵام ئەو پاشایانەی کە هاتبوون بە جیا لە دەشتودەر بوون.

10 Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.

کاتێک یۆئاب بینی کە بەرەکانی جەنگ لەپێشی و لەپاشییەوەن، لە باشترین جەنگاوەرانی ئیسرائیل چەند هێزێکی هەڵبژارد، بۆ بەرەنگاربوونەوەی ئارامییەکان ڕیزی کردن.

11 And the rest of the people he committed into the hand of Abishai his brother, and they put themselves in array against the children of Ammon.

ئەو پیاوانەی کە مانەوە دایە دەست ئەبیشەیی برای و ئەویش بۆ بەرەنگاربوونەوەی عەمۆنییەکان ڕیزی کردن.

12 And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

یۆئاب گوتی: «ئەگەر ئارامییەکان لە من بەهێزتر بوون، ئەوا تۆ بەهانامەوە دێیت؛ بەڵام ئەگەر عەمۆنییەکان لە تۆ بەهێزتر بوون، ئەوا من بەهاناتەوە دێم.

13 Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the LORD do that which seemeth him good.

ئازابە و با بەهێز بین لە پێناوی گەلەکەمان و لە پێناوی شارەکانی خوداکەمان، یەزدانیش چی پێ باشە ئەوە دەکات.»

14 So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him.

ئینجا یۆئاب و ئەو لەشکرەی لەگەڵی بوون بۆ جەنگ لە دژی ئارامییەکان چوونە پێشەوە، ئەوانیش لەبەردەمیدا هەڵاتن.

15 And when the children of Ammon saw that the Syrians were fled, they likewise fled before Abishai his brother, and entered into the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem.

کاتێک عەمۆنییەکان بینییان ئارامییەکان هەڵدەهاتن، ئەوانیش لەبەردەم ئەبیشەی هەڵاتن و چوونە ناو شارەکە. ئیتر یۆئاب گەڕایەوە ئۆرشەلیم.

16 And when the Syrians saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they sent messengers, and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the River, with Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer at their head.

کاتێک ئارامییەکان بینییان لە بەرامبەر ئیسرائیل تێکشکاون، چەند نێردراوێکیان نارد و ئارامییەکانی ئەوبەری ڕووباری فوراتیان هێنا و شوفەخی سەرکردەی سوپاکەی هەدەدعەزەریش لەپێشیانەوە بوو.

17 And it was told David; and he gathered all Israel together, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him:

کاتێک بە داود ڕاگەیەنرا، ئەویش هەموو ئیسرائیلی کۆکردەوە و لە ڕووباری ئوردونەوە پەڕییەوە و بۆیان هات و ڕیزی لێیان بەست، داود بۆ بەرەنگاربوونەوەی ئارامییەکان ڕیزی بەست بۆ جەنگ و ئەوانیش لە دژی جەنگان.

18 And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians [the men of] seven thousand chariots, and forty thousand footmen, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.

بەڵام ئارامییەکان لەبەردەم ئیسرائیلدا هەڵاتن، داودیش حەوت هەزار گالیسکەسوار و چل هەزار پیادەی لە ئارامییەکان کوشت، هەروەها شوفەخی سەرکردەی سوپاکەشی کوشت.

19 And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and served him: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.

کاتێک ژێردەستەکانی هەدەدعەزەر بینییان کە ئەوان لە بەرامبەر ئیسرائیل تێکشکاون، لەگەڵ داود ئاشت بوونەوە و بوونە ژێردەستەی ئیسرائیل. ئیتر ئارامییەکان نەیانوێرا بەهانای عەمۆنییەکانەوە بچن.
