< Psalms 41 >

1 For the leader; for Jeduthun. A psalm of David. Happy are those who consider the weak; in the day of misfortune the Lord will deliver them.
MEID pai me kin apwali me samama o. Ieowa pan kotin dorela i ni ran apwal.
2 He will keep them safe, happy, and long in the land, and not give them up to the rage of their foes.
Ieowa pan kotin apwali i o sinsila a maur, o a pan pwaida nin sappa, o a sota pan mueidala i nan pa en a imwintiti kan.
3 The Lord will sustain them on bed of languishing; tending their sickness, as long as they lie.
Ieowa pan kotin kakelada i ni a pan mela; kom kin kotin sauasa i ni a somau karos.
4 For this cause I say, ‘Lord, show me your favour; heal me, because I have sinned against you.’
Ngai inda: Maing, kom kotin maki ong ia; kakelada ngen i, pwe ngai wiadar dip ong komui.
5 My enemies speak of me nothing but evil, ‘When will he die, and his name pass away?’
Ai imwintiti kan kin lokaia sued duen ngai. Iad a pan mela o mar a pan ririla?
6 When one comes to see me, their words ring hollow; their heart keeps gathering mischief the while; and when they go out, they give it speech.
A kin kodon kilang ia, a kin lokelokaia, a mongiong a me toror, pwe a kin rapaki karepan a lalaue, ap kokowei lokelokaia due.
7 In secret they whisper together against me, all those who hate me plot evil against me.
Karos me kailong kin ia, kin lidilidumongin kin ia, o re madamadaua sued duen ngai.
8 ‘Some fatal disease has fastened upon him; and now that he lies, he will rise up no more.’
Me suedkot mi re a; a pupedier o solar pan uda.
9 My most trusted friend, on whom I relied, who ate of my bread, has turned against me.
Pil kompoke pa i, me i liki, o me iang ia mangamanga, kin tiaki ia di.
10 But do you, Lord, graciously raise me up, that I may pay them their due reward.
A komui Maing kotin maki ong ia, o kau ia da, i ap pan depuk ong ir.
11 By this will I know you delight in me: if my foes may not shout over me in triumph.
I me i pan asaki, me kom kotin kupura ia, pwe ai imwintiti ender ngisingis kin ia.
12 For my innocence you uphold me, and set me forever before your face.
A kom kin kolekol ia pweki ia lelapok, o kom pan kotin kasone ia di mon silang omui kokolata.
13 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting, Amen and Amen.
Kapinga ong Ieowa, Kot en Israel sang met o kokolata! Amen. Amen.
