< Psalms 15 >

1 A psalm of David. Lord, who can be guest in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?
A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 The person whose walk is blameless, whose conduct is right, whose words are true and sincere;
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh truth in his heart.
3 on whose tongue there sits no slander, who will not harm a friend,
He that slandereth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his friend, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 nor cruelly insult a neighbour, who regards with contempt those rejected by God; but honours those who obey the Lord, who keeps an oath, whatever the cost,
In whose eyes a reprobate is despised; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 whose money is lent without interest, and never takes a bribe to hurt the innocent. The person who does these things will always stand firm.
He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
