Matthew 16
1 Here the Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and, to test Jesus, requested him to show them some sign from the heavens.
फरीसी पंथवाळा अने सदुकी पंथवाळा ईसुन्तां आया, अने तीने पारखवा करीन तीहया ह़रग मे गेथी कानी सेलाणी देखाड़।
2 But Jesus answered, ‘In the evening you say “It will be fine weather, for the sky is as red as fire.”
पण ईसु केदो, “ह़ांती टेमे तमु केवो, सीजन वारु रेहे, काहाके ह़रग रातु से।
3 But in the morning you say “Today it will be stormy, for the sky is as red as fire and threatening.” You learn to read the sky; yet you are unable to read the signs of the times!
अने ह़वारे तमु केवो, ‘आज आंजी आवह़े काहाके ह़रग मे रात्लु वादळु सवायलु से, कदीम तमु ह़रग नी सेलाणी देखीन आहयु जाण लेवो के ह़ु हयवा वाळु से, ता तमु आहया दाड़ा मे हय रेली सेलाणी काहा नी ओळखो?
4 A wicked and unfaithful generation is asking for a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jonah.’ So he left them and went away.
आहयी पीड़ी ना कुहर्या अने छीनाळ्या माणहु एक सेलाणी मांग र्या, पण आमने धरमी योना नी सेलाणी वगर कानी बी सेलाणी नी जड़े। आहयी वात कीदीन ईसु तीमने सोड़ीन जत र्यो।’”
5 Now the disciples had crossed to the opposite shore, and had forgotten to take any bread.
दर्या नी ह़ेली धेड़े जवा नी टेमे चेला रोट्लो लेवा भुल जेला हता।
6 Presently Jesus said to them, ‘Take care and be on your guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’
पण ईसु तीमने हुकम आपीन केदो, चेतीन रेवो! अने फरीसी माणहु अने सदुकी माणहु ना खमीर सी बचीन रेवो।
7 But the disciples began talking among themselves about their having brought no bread.
ता तीहया-तीहयात केवा बाज ज्या, आपणु रोट्ला नी लाया, एतरे आहयो ईसम केय।
8 On noticing this, Jesus said, ‘Why are you talking among yourselves about your being short of bread, you of little faith?
ईसु तीमना वीच्यार जाणीन तीमने केदो, “ए कम भरह्या! तमु आहयु काहा वीच्यार कर र्या, के ‘आपणु रोट्ला नी लाया, एतरे आहयो आसम केय?’”
9 Don’t you yet see, nor remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you took away?
तमु हजु लग नी ह़मज्या ह़ु? मे तीहया पांच हजार माणहु ने पांच रोट्ला ढेरका करीन आफरीन खवाड़्यो तीहयु तमने मालम नी हय ह़ु? अने तीहयी टेमे तमु केतरा चार्या टुकड़ा चुटीन भरला?
10 Nor yet the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you took away?
मे तीहया च्यार हजार माणहु ने ह़ात रोट्ला वदाड़ीन, आफरीन खवाड़्यो, ता तमु तीहयी टेमे केतरा चार्या टुकड़ा चुटीन भरला?
11 How is it that you do not see that I was not speaking about bread? Be on your guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’
तमु काहा नी ह़मजता के मे तमने रोट्ला ना बारा मे आहयु नी केदो, पण मे ते फरीसी माणहु अने सदुकी माणहु ना खमीर गेथा चेतीन रेजो करीन केदलो?
12 Then they understood that he had told them to be on their guard, not against the leaven of bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
ता चेला ह़मजी ज्या के ईसु रोट्ला ना खमीर गेथा नी, बाखीन फरीसी माणहु ना अने सदुकी नी ह़ीकापण गेथा चेतीन रेवा करीन हुकम आपीन केदलो हतो।
13 On coming into the region of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked his disciples this question – ‘Who do people say that the Son of Man is?’
ईसु केसर्या फीलीपुस ह़ेर मे आह़फा ना चेला ने पुछ्यो, माणहु मनख्या ना सोरा ने ह़ु केय?
14 ‘Some say John the Baptist,’ they answered, ‘Others, however, say that he is Elijah, while others again say Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.’
तीहया केदा, “थोड़ाक माणहु केय, ‘बपतीस्मा आपण्यो युहन्नो से, थोड़ाक माणहु केय एलीया से, अने थोड़ाक माणहु केय, यीरम्या से नीता ता भगवान वगे गेथो केवा वाळा काना माणहु माय्न कानो एक से।’”
15 ‘But you,’ he said, ‘who do you say that I am?’
आहयु ह़मळीन ईसु केदो, पण तमारा वीच्यार सी मे कोय से? केवो?
16 To this Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’
सीमोन पतरस केदो, तु मसी से, तु जीवतो रेण्या भगवान नो सोरो से।
17 ‘Blessed are you, Simon, Son of Jonah,’ Jesus replied. ‘For no human being has revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
ता ईसु सीमोन ने केदो, ए सीमोन, योना ना सोरा! तु जुगाळो से, काहाके आहयी वात डील अने लोय मे रेण्यो कानो माणेह नी, बाखीन मारो ह़रग वाळो बाह तारी पोर उजन्ती करलो से।
18 Yes, and I say to you, your name is “Peter” – a Rock, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail over it. (Hadēs g86)
एतरे मे बी तने केम, “तु पतरस से, अने मे आहया दगड़ा पोर मारी मंडळी बणावही अने पताळ नो झापला ने आनी अगळ टेकाये नी।” (Hadēs g86)
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be held in heaven to be forbidden, and whatever you allow on earth will be held in heaven to be allowed.’
मे तने ह़रग राज ना कुच्या आपही। अने तु धरती पोर जे कंय बांदही, तीहयु ह़रग मे बी बंदाय जहे; अने जे कंय धरती पोर उगाड़हे तीहयु ह़रग मे बी उगड़ी जहे।
20 Then he charged his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.
तत्यार ईसु आह़फा ना चेला ने हुकम आप्यो के तमु कोयने बी नी केजो के हीय्यो मसी से।
21 At that time Jesus Christ began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem, and undergo much suffering at the hands of the elders, and chief priests, and teachers of the Law, and be put to death, and rise on the third day.
तीहयी टेमे गेथो ईसु आह़फा ना चेला ने आहयु ह़मजाड़वा बाज ज्यो के मने यरुसलेम जवा नु से; तां डायला पुडारी, अने भगवान ना डायला पुंजारा, अने युहदी धरम ह़ीकाड़न्या मने वेला पाड़हे अने मने मार नाख्हे। पण मे तीसरा दाड़े पासो जीवतो हय जही।
22 But Peter took Jesus aside, and began to rebuke him. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘please God that will never be your fate!’
पतरस ईसु ने आंग्ये ली ज्यो अने तीने आहयु कीन वड्यो, ए मालीक! तारी ह़ाते भगवान आसम नी करे तारी पोर आसम कदी नी हये।
23 Jesus, however, turning to Peter, said, ‘Out of my way, Satan! You are a hindrance to me; for you look at things, not as God does, but as person does.’
पण ईसु पासो वळीन पतरस ने केदो, ए भुतड़ा! मारीन्तां गेथो सेटो जत रे! तु मारी वाट्ये अड़चन बण र्यो। काहाके तु भगवान नी वात पोर नी, पण माणहु नी वात पोर मन लगाड़े,
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘If anyone wishes to walk in my steps, they must renounce self, and take up their cross, and follow me.
अळतेण ईसु आह़फा ना चेला ने केदो, जे कोय मारी पसळ आव्वा हींडे, तीहयो आह़फा ने वीहरी जवा जोवे, अने आह़फा नु कुरुस उचलीन मारी पसळ आवे।
25 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, and whoever, for my sake, loses his life will find it.
काहाके जे आह़फा ने बचाड़हे तीहयो आह़फा ने खोय देहे अने जे कोय मारी जुगु, आह़फा नो जीव खोय देहे, तीहयो तीने बचाड़हे।
26 What good will it do a person to gain the whole world, if he forfeits his life? Or what will a person give that is of equal value with his life?
कदीम माणेह आखी कळजुग ने हात कर लेय अने आह़फा नो जीव खोय देय तीहयु ह़ु काम नु? तीहयो आह़फा नो जीव बचाड़वा करीन आह़फा ना जीव नी अवजी पोर ह़ु आप्हे?
27 For the Son of Man is to come in his Father’s glory, with his angels, and then he will give to everyone what his actions deserve.
काहाके मनख्यान बेटो आह़फा ना ह़रगदुत नी ह़ाते आह़फा ना बाह नी बड़ाय भेळ आवहे, अने तीहयो आखा माणहु ने तीमना काम ना अनसारे फोळ आपहे।
28 I tell you, some of those who are standing here will not know death until they have seen the Son of Man coming into his kingdom.’
मे तने ह़ाचलीन केम, आञे ह़ारीक थोड़ाक आसवा माणहु बी हजुर से। जे तत्यार लग नी मरे जत्यार लग मनख्यान बेटा ने तीना राज मे आवत्लो नी देख लेय।
