Mark 10
1 On leaving that place, Jesus went into the district of Judea on the other side of the Jordan. Crowds gathered about him again; and again, as usual, he began teaching them.
फिर वो वहाँ से उठ कर यहूदिया की सरहदों में और यरदन के पार आया और भीड़ उसके पास फिर जमा हो गई और वो अपने दस्तूर के मुवाफ़िक़ फिर उनको ता'लीम देने लगा।
2 Presently some Pharisees came up and, to test him, asked, ‘Has a husband the right to divorce his wife?’
और फ़रीसियों ने पास आकर उसे आज़माने के लिए उससे पूछा, “क्या ये जायज़ है कि मर्द अपनी बीवी को छोड़ दे?”
3 ‘What direction did Moses give you?’ replied Jesus.
उसने जवाब में कहा, “मूसा ने तुम को क्या हुक्म दिया है?”
4 ‘Moses,’ they said, ‘permitted a man to draw up in writing a notice of separation and divorce his wife.’
उन्हों ने कहा, “मूसा ने तो इजाज़त दी है कि तलाक़ नामा लिख कर छोड़ दें?”
5 ‘It was owing to the hardness of your hearts,’ said Jesus, ‘that Moses gave you this direction;
मगर ईसा ने उनसे कहा, “उस ने तुम्हारी सख़्तदिली की वजह से तुम्हारे लिए ये हुक्म लिखा था।
6 but, at the beginning of the Creation, “God made them male and female.”
लेकिन पैदाइश के शुरू से उसने उन्हें मर्द और औरत बनाया।
7 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother,
इस लिए मर्द अपने — बाप से और माँ से जुदा हो कर अपनी बीवी के साथ रहेगा।
8 and the man and his wife will become one;” so that they are no longer two, but one.
और वो और उसकी बीवी दोनों एक जिस्म होंगे’ पस वो दो नहीं बल्कि एक जिस्म हैं।
9 What God himself, then, has yoked together no one must separate.’
इसलिए जिसे ख़ुदा ने जोड़ा है उसे आदमी जुदा न करे।”
10 When they were indoors, the disciples asked him again about this,
और घर में शागिर्दों ने उससे इसके बारे में फिर पूछा।
11 and he said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman is guilty of adultery against his wife;
उसने उनसे कहा “जो कोई अपनी बीवी को छोड़ दे और दूसरी से शादी करे वो उस पहली के बरख़िलाफ़ ज़िना करता है।
12 and, if the woman divorces her husband and marries another man, she is guilty of adultery.’
और अगर औरत अपने शौहर को छोड़ दे और दूसरे से शादी करे तो ज़िना करती है।”
13 Some of the people were bringing little children to Jesus, for him to touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who had brought them.
फिर लोग बच्चों को उसके पास लाने लगे ताकि वो उनको छुए मगर शगिर्दों ने उनको झिड़का।
14 When, however, Jesus saw this, he was indignant. ‘Let the little children come to me,’ he said, ‘do not hinder them; for it is to the childlike that the kingdom of God belongs.
ईसा ये देख कर ख़फ़ा हुआ और उन से कहा “बच्चों को मेरे पास आने दो उन को मनह न करो क्यूँकि ख़ुदा की बादशाही ऐसों ही की है
15 I tell you, unless a person receives the kingdom of God like a child, they will not enter it at all.’
मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ, कि जो कोई ख़ुदा की बादशाही को बच्चे की तरह क़ुबूल न करे वो उस में हरगिज़ दाख़िल नहीं होगा।”
16 Then he embraced the children, and, placing his hands on them, gave them his blessing.
फिर उसने उन्हें अपनी गोद में लिया और उन पर हाथ रखकर उनको बर्क़त दी।
17 As Jesus was resuming his journey, a man came running up to him, and threw himself on his knees before him. ‘Good teacher,’ he asked, ‘what must I do to gain eternal life?’ (aiōnios g166)
जब वो बाहर निकल कर रास्ते में जा रहा था तो एक शख़्स दौड़ता हुआ उसके पास आया और उसके आगे घुटने टेक कर उससे पूछने लगा “ऐ नेक उस्ताद; में क्या करूँ कि हमेशा की ज़िन्दगी का वारिस बनूँ?” (aiōnios g166)
18 ‘Why do you call me good?’ answered Jesus. ‘No one is good but God.
ईसा ने उससे कहा “तू मुझे क्यूँ नेक कहता है? कोई नेक नहीं मगर एक या'नी ख़ुदा।
19 You know the commandments – “Do not kill. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not say what is false about others. Do not cheat. Honour your father and your mother.”’
तू हुक्मों को तो जानता है ख़ून न कर, चोरी न कर, झूठी गवाही न दे, धोखा देकर नुक़्सान न कर, अपने बाप की और माँ की इज़्ज़त कर।”
20 ‘Teacher,’ he replied, ‘I have observed all these from my childhood.’
उसने उससे कहा “ऐ उस्ताद मैंने बचपन से इन सब पर अमल किया है।”
21 Jesus looked at the man, and his heart went out to him, and he said, ‘There is still one thing wanting in you; go and sell all that you have, and give to the poor, and you will have wealth in heaven; then come and follow me.’
ईसा ने उसको देखा और उसे उस पर प्यार आया, और उससे कहा, “एक बात की तुझ में कमी है; जा, जो कुछ तेरा है बेच कर ग़रीबों को दे, तुझे आसमान पर ख़ज़ाना मिलेगा और आकर मेरे पीछे हो ले।”
22 But the man’s face clouded at these words, and he went away distressed, for he had great possessions.
इस बात से उसके चहरे पर उदासी छा गई, और वो ग़मगीन हो कर चला गया; क्यूँकि बड़ा मालदार था।
23 Then Jesus looked round, and said to his disciples, ‘How hard it will be for people of wealth to enter the kingdom of God!’
फिर ईसा ने चारों तरफ़ नज़र करके अपने शागिर्दों से कहा, “दौलतमन्द का ख़ुदा की बादशाही में दाख़िल होना कैसा मुश्किल है।”
24 The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, ‘My children, how hard a thing it is to enter the kingdom of God!
शागिर्द उस की बातों से हैरान हुए ईसा ने फिर जवाब में उनसे कहा, “बच्चो जो लोग दौलत पर भरोसा रखते हैं उन के लिए ख़ुदा की बादशाही में दाख़िल होना क्या ही मुश्किल है।
25 It is easier for a camel to get through a needle’s eye, than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.’
ऊँट का सूई के नाके में से गुज़र जाना इस से आसान है कि दौलतमन्द ख़ुदा की बादशाही में दाख़िल हो।”
26 ‘Then who can be saved?’ they exclaimed in the greatest astonishment.
वो निहायत ही हैरान हो कर उस से कहने लगे, “फिर कौन नजात पा सकता है?”
27 Jesus looked at them, and answered, ‘With people it is impossible, but not with God; for everything is possible with God.’
ईसा ने उनकी तरफ़ नज़र करके कहा, “ये आदमियों से तो नहीं हो सकता लेकिन ख़ुदा से हो सकता है क्यूँकि ख़ुदा से सब कुछ हो सकता है।”
28 ‘But we,’ began Peter, ‘we left everything and have followed you.’
पतरस उस से कहने लगा “देख हम ने तो सब कुछ छोड़ दिया और तेरे पीछे हो लिए हैं।”
29 ‘I tell you,’ said Jesus, ‘there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or land, for my sake and for the good news,
ईसा ने कहा, “मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ कि ऐसा कोई नहीं जिसने घर या भाइयों या बहनों या माँ बाप या बच्चों या खेतों को मेरी ख़ातिर और इन्जील की ख़ातिर छोड़ दिया हो।
31 But many who are first now will then be last, and the last will be first.’
लेकिन बहुत से अव्वल आख़िर हो जाएँगे और आख़िर अव्वल।”
32 They were on the road going up to Jerusalem, with Jesus walking in front of them. The disciples were filled with awe, while those who were following behind were overwhelmed with fear. Gathering the Twelve round him once more, Jesus began to tell them what was about to happen to him.
और वो येरूशलेम को जाते हुए रास्ते में थे और ईसा उनके आगे जा रहा था वो हैरान होने लगे और जो पीछे पीछे चलते थे डरने लगे पस वो फिर उन बारह को साथ लेकर उनको वो बातें बताने लगा जो उस पर आने वाली थीं,
33 ‘Listen!’ he said. ‘We are going up to Jerusalem; and there the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the Law, and they will condemn him to death, and they will give him up to the Gentiles,
“देखो हम येरूशलेम को जाते हैं और इब्न — ए आदम सरदार काहिनों फ़क़ीहों के हवाले किया जाएगा, और वो उसके क़त्ल का हुक्म देंगे और उसे ग़ैर क़ौमों के हवाले करेंगे।
34 who will mock him, spit on him, and scourge him, and put him to death; and after three days he will rise again.’
और वो उसे ठठ्ठों में उड़ाएँगे और उस पर थूकेंगे और उसे कोड़े मारेंगे और क़त्ल करेंगे और वो तीन दिन के बाद जी उठेगा।”
35 James and John, the two sons of Zebedee, went to Jesus, and said, ‘Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask.’
तब ज़ब्दी के बेटों या'क़ूब और यूहन्ना ने उसके पास आकर उससे कहा “ऐ उस्ताद हम चाहते हैं कि जिस बात की हम तुझ से दरख़्वास्त करें तू हमारे लिए करे।”
36 ‘What do you want me to do for you?’ he asked.
उसने उनसे कहा “तुम क्या चाहते हो कि मैं तुम्हारे लिए करूँ?”
37 ‘Grant us this,’ they answered, ‘to sit, one on your right, and the other on your left, when you come in glory.’
उन्होंने उससे कहा “हमारे लिए ये कर कि तेरे जलाल में हम में से एक तेरी दाहिनी और एक बाईं तरफ़ बैठे।”
38 ‘You do not know what you are asking,’ Jesus said to them. ‘Can you drink the cup that I am to drink? Or receive the baptism that I am to receive?’
ईसा ने उनसे कहा “तुम नहीं जानते कि क्या माँगते हो? जो प्याला में पीने को हूँ क्या तुम पी सकते हो? और जो बपतिस्मा में लेने को हूँ तुम ले सकते हो?”
39 ‘Yes,’ they answered, ‘we can.’ ‘You will indeed drink the cup that I am to drink,’ Jesus said, ‘and receive the baptism that I am to receive,
उन्होंने उससे कहा, “हम से हो सकता है।” ईसा ने उनसे कहा, “जो प्याला मैं पीने को हूँ तुम पियोगे? और जो बपतिस्मा मैं लेने को हूँ तुम लोगे।
40 but as to a seat at my right or at my left – that is not mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.’
लेकिन अपनी दाहिनी या बाईं तरफ़ किसी को बिठा देना मेरा काम नहीं मगर जिन के लिए तैयार किया गया उन्हीं के लिए है।”
41 On hearing of this, the ten others were at first very indignant about James and John.
जब उन दसों ने ये सुना तो या'क़ूब और यूहन्ना से ख़फ़ा होने लगे।
42 But Jesus called the ten to him, and said, ‘Those who are regarded as ruling among the Gentiles lord it over them, as you know, and their great men oppress them.
ईसा ने उन्हें पास बुलाकर उनसे कहा, “तुम जानते हो कि जो ग़ैर क़ौमों के सरदार समझे जाते हैं वो उन पर हुकूमत चलाते है और उनके अमीर उन पर इख़्तियार जताते हैं।
43 But among you it is not so. No, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
मगर तुम में ऐसा कौन है बल्कि जो तुम में बड़ा होना चाहता है वो तुम्हारा ख़ादिम बने।
44 and whoever wants to take the first place among you must be the servant of all;
और जो तुम में अव्वल होना चाहता है वो सब का ग़ुलाम बने।
45 for even the Son of Man came, not be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’
क्यूँकि इब्न — ए आदम भी इसलिए नहीं आया कि ख़िदमत ले बल्कि इसलिए कि ख़िदमत करे और अपनी जान बहुतेरों के बदले फ़िदया में दे।”
46 They came to Jericho. When Jesus was going out of the town with his disciples and a large crowd, Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the roadside.
और वो यरीहू में आए और जब वो और उसके शागिर्द और एक बड़ी भीड़ यरीहू से निकलती थी तो तिमाई का बेटा बरतिमाई अंधा फ़क़ीर रास्ते के किनारे बैठा हुआ था।
47 Hearing that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to call out, ‘Jesus, Son of David, take pity on me.’
और ये सुनकर कि ईसा नासरी है चिल्ला चिल्लाकर कहने लगा, ऐ इब्न — “ए दाऊद ऐ ईसा मुझ पर रहम कर!”
48 Many of the people kept telling him to be quiet; but the man continued to call out all the louder, ‘Son of David, take pity on me.’
और बहुतों ने उसे डाँटा कि चुप रह, मगर वो और ज़्यादा चिल्लाया, “ऐ इब्न — ए दाऊद मुझ पर रहम कर!”
49 Then Jesus stopped. ‘Call him,’ he said. So they called the blind man. ‘Have courage!’ they exclaimed. ‘Get up; he is calling you.’
ईसा ने खड़े होकर कहा, “उसे बुलाओ।” पस उन्हों ने उस अंधे को ये कह कर बुलाया, कि “इत्मीनान रख। उठ, वो तुझे बुलाता है।”
50 The man threw off his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
वो अपना चोग़ा फेंक कर उछल पड़ा और ईसा के पास आया।
51 ‘What do you want me to do for you?’ said Jesus, addressing him. ‘Rabboni,’ the blind man answered, ‘I want to recover my sight.’
ईसा ने उस से कहा, “तू क्या चाहता है कि मैं तेरे लिए करूँ?” अंधे ने उससे कहा, “ऐ रब्बूनी, ये कि मैं देखने लगूं।”
52 ‘You may go,’ Jesus said, ‘Your faith has delivered you.’ Immediately he recovered his sight, and began to follow Jesus along the road.
ईसा ने उस से कहा “जा तेरे ईमान ने तुझे अच्छा कर दिया” और वो फ़ौरन देखने लगा और रास्ते में उसके पीछे हो लिया।
