Luke 24
1 But very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb, taking with them the spices that they had prepared.
An dem ersten Wochentage aber, ganz in der Frühe, kamen sie zu der Gruft und brachten die Spezereien, die sie bereitet hatten.
2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb;
Sie fanden aber den Stein von der Gruft weggewälzt;
3 and, on going into it, they could not find the body.
und als sie hineingingen, fanden sie den Leib des Herrn Jesus nicht.
4 While they were at a loss to account for this, all at once two men stood beside them, in dazzling clothing.
Und es geschah, als sie darüber in Verlegenheit waren, siehe, da standen zwei Männer in strahlenden Kleidern bei ihnen.
5 But, when in their fear the women bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, ‘Why are you looking among the dead for him who is living?
Als sie aber von Furcht erfüllt wurden und das Angesicht zur Erde neigten, sprachen sie zu ihnen: Was suchet ihr den Lebendigen unter den Toten?
6 Remember how he spoke to you before he left Galilee –
Er ist nicht hier, sondern ist auferstanden. Gedenket daran, wie er zu euch geredet hat, als er noch in Galiläa war, indem er sagte:
7 How he said that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of wicked men, and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.’
Der Sohn des Menschen muß in die Hände sündiger Menschen überliefert und gekreuzigt werden und am dritten Tage auferstehen.
8 Then they remembered the words of Jesus,
Und sie gedachten an seine Worte;
9 and, on returning from the tomb, they told all this to the Eleven and to all the rest.
und sie kehrten von der Gruft zurück und verkündigten dies alles den Elfen und den übrigen allen.
10 There were Mary of Magdala, and Joanna, and Mary, the mother of James. The other women, too, spoke about this to the apostles.
Es waren aber die Maria Magdalene und Johanna und Maria, des Jakobus Mutter, und die übrigen mit ihnen, welche dies zu den Aposteln sagten.
11 What they said seemed to the apostles mere nonsense, and they did not believe them.
Und ihre Reden schienen vor ihnen wie ein Märchen, und sie glaubten ihnen nicht.
Petrus aber stand auf und lief zu der Gruft; und sich hineinbückend, sieht er die leinenen Tücher allein liegen, und er ging weg nach Hause und verwunderte sich über das, was geschehen war.
13 It happened that very day that two of the disciples were going to a village called Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem,
Und siehe, zwei von ihnen gingen an selbigem Tage nach einem Dorfe, mit Namen Emmaus, sechzig Stadien von Jerusalem entfernt.
14 talking together, as they went, about all that had just taken place.
Und sie unterhielten sich miteinander über alles dieses, was sich zugetragen hatte.
15 While they were talking about these things and discussing them, Jesus himself came up and went on their way with them;
Und es geschah, indem sie sich unterhielten und miteinander überlegten, daß Jesus selbst nahte und mit ihnen ging;
16 but their eyes were blinded so that they could not recognise him.
aber ihre Augen wurden gehalten, damit sie ihn nicht erkennten.
17 ‘What is this that you are saying to each other as you walk along?’ Jesus asked. They stopped, with sad looks on their faces,
Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Was sind das für Reden, die ihr wandelnd miteinander wechselt, und seid niedergeschlagen?
18 and then one of them, whose name was Cleopas, said to Jesus, ‘Are you staying by yourself at Jerusalem, that you have not heard of the things that have happened there within the last few days?’
Einer aber, mit Namen Kleopas, antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Bist du der einzige, der in Jerusalem weilt und nicht weiß, was in ihr geschehen ist in diesen Tagen?
19 ‘What things do you mean?’ asked Jesus. ‘Why, about Jesus of Nazareth,’ they answered, ‘who, in the eyes of God and all the people, was a prophet, whose power was felt in both his words and actions;
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Was denn? Sie aber sprachen zu ihm: Das von Jesus, dem Nazaräer, der ein Prophet war, mächtig im Werk und Wort vor Gott und dem ganzen Volke;
20 and how the chief priests and our leading men gave him up to be sentenced to death, and afterwards crucified him.
und wie ihn die Hohenpriester und unsere Obersten überlieferten, um zum Tode verurteilt zu werden, und ihn kreuzigten.
21 But we were hoping that he was the Destined Deliverer of Israel; yes, and besides all this, it is now three days since these things occurred.
Wir aber hofften, daß er der sei, der Israel erlösen solle. Doch auch bei alledem ist es heute der dritte Tag, seitdem dies geschehen ist.
22 And what is more, some of the women among us have greatly astonished us. They went to the tomb at daybreak
Aber auch etliche Weiber von uns haben uns außer uns gebracht, die am frühen Morgen bei der Gruft gewesen sind,
23 And, not finding the body of Jesus there, came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels who told them that he was alive.
und, als sie seinen Leib nicht fanden, kamen und sagten, daß sie auch ein Gesicht von Engeln gesehen hätten, welche sagen, daß er lebe.
24 So some of our number went to the tomb and found everything just as the women had said, but they did not see Jesus.’
Und etliche von denen, die mit uns sind, gingen zu der Gruft und fanden es so, wie auch die Weiber gesagt hatten; ihn aber sahen sie nicht.
25 Then Jesus said to them, ‘Foolish men, slow to accept all that the prophets have said!
Und er sprach zu ihnen: O ihr Unverständigen und trägen Herzens, zu glauben an alles, was die Propheten geredet haben!
26 Was not the Christ bound to undergo this suffering before entering into his glory?’
Mußte nicht der Christus dies leiden und in seine Herrlichkeit eingehen?
27 Then, beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them all through the scriptures the passages that referred to himself.
Und von Moses und von allen Propheten anfangend, erklärte er ihnen in allen Schriften das, was ihn betraf.
28 When they got near the village to which they were walking, Jesus appeared to be going further;
Und sie nahten dem Dorfe, wohin sie gingen; und er stellte sich, als wolle er weitergehen.
29 but they pressed him not to do so. ‘Stay with us,’ they said, ‘for it is getting towards evening, and the sun in already low.’ So Jesus went in to stay with them.
Und sie nötigten ihn und sagten: Bleibe bei uns, denn es ist gegen Abend, und der Tag hat sich schon geneigt. Und er ging hinein, um bei ihnen zu bleiben.
30 After he had taken his place at the table with them, he took the bread and said the blessing, and broke it, and gave it to them.
Und es geschah, als er mit ihnen zu Tische lag, nahm er das Brot und segnete es; und als er es gebrochen hatte, reichte er es ihnen.
31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognised him; but he disappeared from their sight.
Ihre Augen aber wurden aufgetan, und sie erkannten ihn; und er wurde ihnen unsichtbar.
32 ‘How our hearts glowed,’ the disciples said to each other, ‘while he was talking to us on the road, and when he explained the scriptures to us!’
Und sie sprachen zueinander: Brannte nicht unser Herz in uns, als er auf dem Wege zu uns redete, [und] als er uns die Schriften öffnete?
33 Then they immediately got up and returned to Jerusalem, where they found the Eleven and their companions all together,
Und sie standen zur selbigen Stunde auf und kehrten nach Jerusalem zurück. Und sie fanden die Elfe und die mit ihnen waren versammelt,
34 who told them that the Master had really risen, and had appeared to Simon.
welche sagten: Der Herr ist wirklich auferweckt worden und dem Simon erschienen.
35 So they also related what had happened during their walk, and how they had recognised Jesus at the breaking of the bread.
Und sie erzählten, was auf dem Wege geschehen war, und wie er von ihnen erkannt worden war an dem Brechen des Brotes.
36 While they were still talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them.
Während sie aber dieses redeten, stand er selbst in ihrer Mitte und spricht zu ihnen: Friede euch!
37 In their terror and alarm they thought they saw a ghost,
Sie aber erschraken und wurden von Furcht erfüllt und meinten, sie sähen einen Geist.
38 but Jesus said to them, ‘Why are you so startled? And why do doubts arise in your minds?
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Was seid ihr bestürzt, und warum steigen Gedanken auf in euren Herzen?
39 Look at my hands and my feet, and you will know that it is I. Feel me, and look at me, for a ghost has not flesh and bones, as you see that I have.’
Sehet meine Hände und meine Füße, daß ich es selbst bin; betastet mich und sehet, denn ein Geist hat nicht Fleisch und Bein, wie ihr sehet, daß ich habe.
Und als er dies gesagt hatte, zeigte er ihnen die Hände und die Füße.
41 While they were still unable to believe it all, overcome with joy, and were wondering if it were true, Jesus said to them, ‘Have you anything here to eat?’
Als sie aber noch nicht glaubten vor Freude und sich verwunderten, sprach er zu ihnen: Habt ihr hier etwas zu essen?
42 They handed him a piece of broiled fish,
Sie aber reichten ihm ein Stück gebratenen Fisch [und von einer Honigscheibe];
43 and he took it and ate it before their eyes.
und er nahm und aß vor ihnen.
44 ‘This is what I told you,’ he said, ‘when I was still with you – that everything that had been written about me in the Law of Moses, the prophets, and the Psalms, must be fulfilled.’
Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Dies sind die Worte, die ich zu euch redete, als ich noch bei euch war, daß alles erfüllt werden muß, was über mich geschrieben steht in dem Gesetz Moses' und den Propheten und Psalmen.
45 Then he enabled them to understand the meaning of the scriptures, saying to them,
Dann öffnete er ihnen das Verständnis, um die Schriften zu verstehen,
46 ‘Scripture says that the Christ will suffer, and that he will rise again from the dead on the third day,
und sprach zu ihnen: Also steht geschrieben, und also mußte der Christus leiden und am dritten Tage auferstehen aus den Toten,
47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed on his authority to all the nations – beginning at Jerusalem.
und in seinem Namen Buße und Vergebung der Sünden gepredigt werden allen Nationen, anfangend von Jerusalem.
48 You yourselves are to be witnesses to all this.
Ihr aber seid Zeugen hiervon;
49 And now I am myself about to send you that which my Father has promised. But you must remain in the city until you have been invested with power from above.’
und siehe, ich sende die Verheißung meines Vaters auf euch. Ihr aber, bleibet in der Stadt, bis ihr angetan werdet mit Kraft aus der Höhe.
50 After this, Jesus led them out as far as Bethany, and there raised his hands and blessed them.
Er führte sie aber hinaus bis nach Bethanien und hob seine Hände auf und segnete sie.
51 As he was in the act of blessing them, he left them.
Und es geschah, indem er sie segnete, schied er von ihnen und wurde hinaufgetragen in den Himmel.
52 They returned to Jerusalem full of joy;
Und sie warfen sich vor ihm nieder und kehrten nach Jerusalem zurück mit großer Freude;
53 and they were constantly in the Temple Courts, blessing God.
und sie waren allezeit im Tempel, Gott lobend und preisend.
