Luke 21
1 Looking up, Jesus saw the rich people putting their gifts into the chests for the Temple offerings.
இயேசு நிமிர்ந்து பார்த்தபோது, பணக்காரர் தமது காணிக்கைகளை ஆலயத்தின் காணிக்கைப் பெட்டிகளில் போடுவதைக் கண்டார்.
2 He saw, too, a widow in poor circumstances putting two small coins into them.
ஒரு ஏழை விதவை, இரண்டு சிறிய செப்பு நாணயங்களை அதிலே போடுகிறதையும் அவர் கண்டார்.
3 ‘I tell you’, he said ‘that this poor widow has put in more than all the others;
அப்பொழுது அவர், “நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன். இந்த ஏழை விதவை, மற்ற எல்லோரைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய் போட்டிருக்கிறாள்.
4 for everyone else here put in something from what he had to spare, while she, in her need, has put in all she had to live on.’
இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் தங்கள் செல்வத்திலிருந்து காணிக்கைளைக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இவளோ, தனது ஏழ்மையிலிருந்து, தனது பிழைப்பிற்காக வைத்திருந்த எல்லாவற்றையுமே போட்டுவிட்டாள்” என்றார்.
5 When some of them spoke about the Temple being decorated with beautiful stones and offerings, Jesus said,
இயேசுவினுடைய சீடர்களில் சிலர், “ஆலயம் அழகான கற்களாலும், இறைவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட காணிக்கைகளினாலும் எவ்வளவாய் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது” என்று சொன்னார்கள். அதற்கு இயேசு அவர்களிடம்,
6 ‘As for these things that you are looking at, a time is coming when not one stone will be left on another here. Every one will be thrown down.’
“நீங்கள் இங்கே காண்கிற இவையெல்லாம், ஒரு கல்லின்மேல் இன்னொரு கல் இராதபடி இடிக்கப்படும் நாட்கள் வரும்; அவை ஒவ்வொன்றும் கீழே தள்ளிவிடப்படும்” என்றார்.
7 So the disciples questioned Jesus, ‘But, teacher, when will this happen? And what sign will there be when this is near?’
அவர்கள் இயேசுவிடம், “போதகரே, எப்பொழுது இவை நிகழும்? நிகழப்போகிறது என்பதற்கான அடையாளம் என்ன?” என்று கேட்டார்கள்.
8 And Jesus said, ‘See that you are not led astray; for many will take my name, and come saying “I am He,” and “The time is close at hand.” Do not follow them.
இயேசு அதற்குப் பதிலாக, “நீங்கள் ஏமாறாதபடி விழிப்பாயிருங்கள். ஏனெனில், அநேகர் நான்தான் அவர், காலம் நெருங்கிவிட்டது என்றெல்லாம் சொல்லிக்கொண்டு, என் பெயராலே வருவார்கள். அவர்களைப் பின்பற்றவேண்டாம்.
9 And, when you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified, for these things must occur first; but the end will not be at once.’
நீங்கள் யுத்தங்களையும், கலவரங்களையும் கேள்விப்படும்போது, பயப்படவேண்டாம். முதலில் இவை நிகழவே வேண்டும். ஆனாலும், முடிவோ உடனே வராது” என்றார்.
10 Then he said to them, ‘Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom,
பின்பு இயேசு அவர்களிடம் சொன்னதாவது: “நாட்டிற்கு விரோதமாய் நாடு எழும்பும், அரசு அரசிற்கெதிராய் எழும்பும்.
11 and there will be great earthquakes, and plagues and famines in various places, and there will be terrible appearances and signs in the heavens.
பல இடங்களில் பெரும் பூமியதிர்ச்சிகளும், பஞ்சங்களும், ஆபத்தான நோய்களும் உண்டாகும். பயங்கர சம்பவங்களும், வானத்திலிருந்து பெரிய அடையாளங்களும் காணப்படும்.
12 Before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you, and they will betray you to synagogues and put you in prison, when you will be brought before kings and governors for the sake of my name.
“இவை எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் முன்பாக, உங்களைப் பிடித்துத் துன்புறுத்துவார்கள். அவர்கள் உங்களை ஜெப ஆலயங்களிலும், சிறைகளிலும் ஒப்படைப்பார்கள். அரசருக்கு முன்பாகவும், ஆளுநர்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் கொண்டு செல்லப்படுவீர்கள். இவை எல்லாம் என் பெயரின் பொருட்டு நிகழும்.
13 Then will be your opportunity of witnessing for me.
நீங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு சாட்சிகளாய் இருப்பதற்கு, இது ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பமாய் இருக்கும்.
14 Make up your minds, therefore, not to prepare your defence;
ஆனால், உங்கள் சார்பாக எப்படிப் பேசலாம் என்று முன்னதாகக் கவலைப்படாமல் இருக்கத் தீர்மானித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
15 for I will myself give you words, and a wisdom which all your opponents together will be unable to resist or defy.
உங்கள் எதிரிகளில் எவனும் எதிர்த்துப் பேசவோ, மறுத்துப் பேசவோ முடியாத அளவுக்கு, வார்த்தையையும் ஞானத்தையும் நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன்.
16 You will be betrayed even by your parents and brothers and sisters and relatives and friends, and they will cause some of you to be put to death,
நீங்கள் பெற்றோர்களாலும், சகோதரர்களாலும், உறவினர்களாலும், நண்பர்களாலும் காட்டிக்கொடுக்கப்படுவீர்கள். அவர்கள் உங்களில் சிலரைக் கொலைசெய்வார்கள்.
17 and you will be hated by everyone because of me my name.
என் நிமித்தம் அனைவரும் உங்களை வெறுப்பார்கள்.
18 Yet not a single hair of your heads will be lost!
ஆனால், உங்கள் தலையிலுள்ள ஒரு முடிகூட அழிந்துபோகாது.
19 By your endurance you will win yourselves life.
உங்கள் பொறுமையினால் உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.
20 As soon, however, as you see Jerusalem surrounded by armed camps, then you may know that the hour of her desecration is at hand.
“எருசலேம் படை வீரரால் முற்றுகையிடப்படுவதை நீங்கள் காணும்போது, அதற்கு அழிவு நெருங்கிவிட்டது என அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.
21 Then those of you who are in Judea must take refuge in the mountains, those who are in Jerusalem must leave at once, and those who are in the country places must not go into it.
அப்பொழுது யூதேயாவில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் மலைகளுக்குத் தப்பி ஓடட்டும். நகரத்தில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் வெளியே புறப்பட்டு போகட்டும். நாட்டு மக்கள் பட்டணத்திற்குள் போகாமல் இருக்கட்டும்.
22 For these are to be the days of vengeance, when all that scripture says will be fulfilled.
ஏனெனில், எழுதப்பட்டிருப்பவை எல்லாம் நிறைவேறப்போகும் தண்டனையின் காலம் இதுவே.
23 Alas for pregnant women, and for those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great suffering in the land, and anger against this people.
அந்நாட்களில் கர்ப்பவதிகளின் நிலைமையும், பால் கொடுக்கும் தாய்மாரின் நிலைமையும் எவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாயிருக்கும்! நாட்டிலே கொடிய துன்பமும் உண்டாகும். இந்த மக்களுக்கு எதிராக கடுங்கோபமும் வெளிப்படும்.
24 They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be taken prisoners to every land, and Jerusalem will be under the heel of the Gentiles, until their day is over – as it will be.
அவர்கள் வாளினால் வெட்டுண்டு விழுவார்கள். எல்லா மக்களின் நாடுகளுக்கும் கைதிகளாய் கொண்டு செல்லப்படுவார்கள். யூதரல்லாதவர்களின் காலம் நிறைவேறும்வரை, எருசலேம் யூதரல்லாதவர்களால் மிதிக்கப்படும்.
25 There will be signs, too, in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth despair among the nations, in their dismay at the roar of the sea and the surge.
“சூரியனிலும், சந்திரனிலும், நட்சத்திரங்களிலும் அடையாளங்கள் ஏற்படும். பூமியிலோ மக்கள் கடலின் முழக்கத்தினாலும், கொந்தளிப்பினாலும், பெருந்துன்பத்திற்கும், கலக்கத்திற்கும் உட்படுவார்கள்.
26 People’s hearts will fail them through dread of what is coming upon the world; for the forces of the heavens will be convulsed.
வானத்தின் அதிகாரங்கள் அசைக்கப்படுவதனால், மனிதர் உலகத்திற்கு என்ன ஏற்படுமோ என்று பயத்தினால், மனம் சோர்ந்துபோவார்கள்.
27 Then will be seen the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
அவ்வேளையில் மானிடமகனாகிய நான் வல்லமையுடனும், மிகுந்த மகிமையுடனும், மேகத்தில் வருவதை மனிதர்கள் காண்பார்கள்.
28 And, when these things begin to occur, look upwards and lift your heads, for your deliverance will be at hand.’
இவை நிகழத் தொடங்கும்போது, நீங்கள் உங்கள் தலைகளை நிமிர்த்தி எழுந்து நில்லுங்கள். ஏனெனில், உங்கள் மீட்பு நெருங்கி வருகிறது.”
29 Then he taught them a lesson, saying – ‘Look at the fig tree and all the other trees.
இயேசு சீடர்களுக்கு மேலும் இந்த உவமையைச் சொன்னார்: “அத்திமரத்தையும் மற்ற எல்லா மரங்களையும் நோக்கிப்பாருங்கள்.
30 As soon as they shoot, you know, as you look at them, without being told, that summer is near.
அவை துளிர்விடும்போது, கோடைகாலம் நெருங்குகிறது என்று, நீங்களே பார்த்து அறிந்துகொள்கிறீர்கள்.
31 And so may you, as soon as you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.
அவ்வாறே இவற்றையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் காணும்போது, இறைவனுடைய அரசு சமீபமாய் வந்திருக்கிறது என்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
32 I tell you that even the present generation will not pass away until all has taken place.
“நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், இந்தக் காரியங்களெல்லாம் நடந்துமுடியும் வரைக்கும், நிச்சயமாகவே இந்தத் தலைமுறை ஒழிந்துபோகாது.
33 The heavens and the earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
வானமும், பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோகும். ஆனால், என் வார்த்தைகளோ ஒருபோதும் ஒழிந்துபோகாது.
34 Be on your guard or your minds will become dulled by debauches or drunkenness or the anxieties of life, and “that day” will close on you suddenly like a trap.
“ஊதாரித்தனத்தினாலும், மதுபான வெறியினாலும், வாழ்க்கைக்குரிய கவலைகளினாலும் உங்கள் இருதயங்கள் பாரமடைந்து போகாதடி நீங்கள் கவனமாய் இருங்கள். அப்பொழுது அந்த நாள், ஒரு கண்ணியைப்போல எதிர்பாராத விதத்தில், உங்கள்மேல் வரும்.
35 For it will come on all who are living upon the face of the whole earth.
பூமி முழுவதிலும் வாழுகின்ற எல்லோர்மேலும் அது வரும்.
36 Be on the watch at all times, and pray that you may have strength to escape all that is destined to happen, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.’
எப்பொழுதும் விழிப்புடன் இருங்கள். நடக்கப்போகின்ற எல்லாவற்றிலிருந்தும் தப்பித்துக் கொள்வதற்காக மன்றாடுங்கள். மானிடமகனாகிய எனக்கு முன்பாக, உங்களுக்கு நிற்கக்கூடிய வல்லமை இருக்கவும் மன்றாடுங்கள்” என்றார்.
37 During the days, Jesus continued to teach in the Temple Courts, but he went out and spent the nights on the hill called the “Mount of Olives.”
இயேசு ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் ஆலயத்தில் போதித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அதற்குப் பின்பு, இரவு நேரத்தை ஒலிவமலை எனப்பட்ட மலையிலே தங்கிவந்தார்.
38 And all the people would get up early in the morning and come to listen to him in the Temple Courts.
எல்லா மக்களும் அதிகாலையிலேயே எழுந்து, அவர் சொல்வதைக் கேட்பதற்கு, அவரிடம் ஆலயத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள்.
