John 16
1 ‘I have spoken to you in this way so that you may not falter.
১যুষ্মাকং যথা ৱাধা ন জাযতে তদর্থং যুষ্মান্ এতানি সর্ৱ্ৱৱাক্যানি ৱ্যাহরং|
2 They will expel you from their synagogues; indeed the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think that they are making an offering to God.
২লোকা যুষ্মান্ ভজনগৃহেভ্যো দূরীকরিষ্যন্তি তথা যস্মিন্ সমযে যুষ্মান্ হৎৱা ঈশ্ৱরস্য তুষ্টি জনকং কর্ম্মাকুর্ম্ম ইতি মংস্যন্তে স সময আগচ্ছন্তি|
3 They will do this, because they have not learned to know the Father, or even me.
৩তে পিতরং মাঞ্চ ন জানন্তি, তস্মাদ্ যুষ্মান্ প্রতীদৃশম্ আচরিষ্যন্তি|
4 But I have spoken to you of these things so that, when the time for them comes, you may remember that I told you about them myself.
৪অতো হেতাঃ সমযে সমুপস্থিতে যথা মম কথা যুষ্মাকং মনঃসুঃ সমুপতিষ্ঠতি তদর্থং যুষ্মাভ্যম্ এতাং কথাং কথযামি যুষ্মাভিঃ সার্দ্ধম্ অহং তিষ্ঠন্ প্রথমং তাং যুষ্মভ্যং নাকথযং|
5 I did not tell you all this at first, because I was with you. But now I am to return to him who sent me; and yet not one of you asks me – “Where are you going?”
৫সাম্প্রতং স্ৱস্য প্রেরযিতুঃ সমীপং গচ্ছামি তথাপি ৎৱং ক্ক গচ্ছসি কথামেতাং যুষ্মাকং কোপি মাং ন পৃচ্ছতি|
6 Although your hearts are full of sorrow at all that I have been saying to you.
৬কিন্তু মযোক্তাভিরাভিঃ কথাভি র্যূষ্মাকম্ অন্তঃকরণানি দুঃখেন পূর্ণান্যভৱন্|
7 Yet I am only telling you the truth; it is for your good that I should go away. For otherwise the helper will never come to you, but, if I leave you, I will send him to you.
৭তথাপ্যহং যথার্থং কথযামি মম গমনং যুষ্মাকং হিতার্থমেৱ, যতো হেতো র্গমনে ন কৃতে সহাযো যুষ্মাকং সমীপং নাগমিষ্যতি কিন্তু যদি গচ্ছামি তর্হি যুষ্মাকং সমীপে তং প্রেষযিষ্যামি|
8 And he, when he comes, will bring conviction to the world as to sin, and as to righteousness, and as to judgment;
৮ততঃ স আগত্য পাপপুণ্যদণ্ডেষু জগতো লোকানাং প্রবোধং জনযিষ্যতি|
9 as to sin, for people do not believe in me;
৯তে মযি ন ৱিশ্ৱসন্তি তস্মাদ্ধেতোঃ পাপপ্রবোধং জনযিষ্যতি|
10 as to righteousness, for I am going to the Father, and you will see me no longer;
১০যুষ্মাকম্ অদৃশ্যঃ সন্নহং পিতুঃ সমীপং গচ্ছামি তস্মাদ্ পুণ্যে প্রবোধং জনযিষ্যতি|
11 as to judgment, for the Spirit that is ruling this world has been condemned.
১১এতজ্জগতোঽধিপতি র্দণ্ডাজ্ঞাং প্রাপ্নোতি তস্মাদ্ দণ্ডে প্রবোধং জনযিষ্যতি|
12 I have still much to say to you, but you cannot bear it now.
১২যুষ্মভ্যং কথযিতুং মমানেকাঃ কথা আসতে, তাঃ কথা ইদানীং যূযং সোঢুং ন শক্নুথ;
13 Yet when he – The Spirit of truth – comes, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but he will speak of all that he hears; and he will tell you of the things that are to come.
১৩কিন্তু সত্যময আত্মা যদা সমাগমিষ্যতি তদা সর্ৱ্ৱং সত্যং যুষ্মান্ নেষ্যতি, স স্ৱতঃ কিমপি ন ৱদিষ্যতি কিন্তু যচ্ছ্রোষ্যতি তদেৱ কথযিৎৱা ভাৱিকার্য্যং যুষ্মান্ জ্ঞাপযিষ্যতি|
14 He will honour me; because he will take of what is mine, and will tell it to you.
১৪মম মহিমানং প্রকাশযিষ্যতি যতো মদীযাং কথাং গৃহীৎৱা যুষ্মান্ বোধযিষ্যতি|
15 Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said that he takes of what is mine, and will tell it to you.
১৫পিতু র্যদ্যদ্ আস্তে তৎ সর্ৱ্ৱং মম তস্মাদ্ কারণাদ্ অৱাদিষং স মদীযাং কথাং গৃহীৎৱা যুষ্মান্ বোধযিষ্যতি|
16 In a little while you will no longer see me; and then in a little while you will see me indeed.’
১৬কিযৎকালাৎ পরং যূযং মাং দ্রষ্টুং ন লপ্স্যধ্ৱে কিন্তু কিযৎকালাৎ পরং পুন র্দ্রষ্টুং লপ্স্যধ্ৱে যতোহং পিতুঃ সমীপং গচ্ছামি|
17 At this some of his disciples said to one another, ‘What does he mean by saying to us “In a little while you will not see me, and then in a little while you will see me indeed”; and by saying “Because I am going to the Father”?
১৭ততঃ শিষ্যাণাং কিযন্তো জনাঃ পরস্পরং ৱদিতুম্ আরভন্ত, কিযৎকালাৎ পরং মাং দ্রষ্টুং ন লপ্স্যধ্ৱে কিন্তু কিযৎকালাৎ পরং পুন র্দ্রষ্টুং লপ্স্যধ্ৱে যতোহং পিতুঃ সমীপং গচ্ছামি, ইতি যদ্ ৱাক্যম্ অযং ৱদতি তৎ কিং?
18 What does he mean by “In a little while”?’ they said. ‘We do not know what he is speaking about.’
১৮ততঃ কিযৎকালাৎ পরম্ ইতি তস্য ৱাক্যং কিং? তস্য ৱাক্যস্যাভিপ্রাযং ৱযং বোদ্ধুং ন শক্নুমস্তৈরিতি
19 Jesus saw that they were wanting to ask him a question, and said, ‘Are you trying to find out from one another what I meant by saying “In a little while you will not see me; and then in a little while you will see me indeed”?
১৯নিগদিতে যীশুস্তেষাং প্রশ্নেচ্ছাং জ্ঞাৎৱা তেভ্যোঽকথযৎ কিযৎকালাৎ পরং মাং দ্রষ্টুং ন লপ্স্যধ্ৱে, কিন্তু কিযৎকালাৎ পরং পূন র্দ্রষ্টুং লপ্স্যধ্ৱে, যামিমাং কথামকথযং তস্যা অভিপ্রাযং কিং যূযং পরস্পরং মৃগযধ্ৱে?
20 In truth I tell you that you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice; you will suffer pain, but your pain will turn to joy.
২০যুষ্মানহম্ অতিযথার্থং ৱদামি যূযং ক্রন্দিষ্যথ ৱিলপিষ্যথ চ, কিন্তু জগতো লোকা আনন্দিষ্যন্তি; যূযং শোকাকুলা ভৱিষ্যথ কিন্তু শোকাৎ পরং আনন্দযুক্তা ভৱিষ্যথ|
21 A woman in labour is in pain because her time has come; but no sooner is the child born, than she forgets her trouble in her joy that a child has been born into the world.
২১প্রসৱকাল উপস্থিতে নারী যথা প্রসৱৱেদনযা ৱ্যাকুলা ভৱতি কিন্তু পুত্রে ভূমিষ্ঠে সতি মনুষ্যৈকো জন্মনা নরলোকে প্রৱিষ্ট ইত্যানন্দাৎ তস্যাস্তৎসর্ৱ্ৱং দুঃখং মনসি ন তিষ্ঠতি,
22 You, in the same way, are sorry now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will rob you of your joy.
২২তথা যূযমপি সাম্প্রতং শোকাকুলা ভৱথ কিন্তু পুনরপি যুষ্মভ্যং দর্শনং দাস্যামি তেন যুষ্মাকম্ অন্তঃকরণানি সানন্দানি ভৱিষ্যন্তি, যুষ্মাকং তম্ আনন্দঞ্চ কোপি হর্ত্তুং ন শক্ষ্যতি|
23 And at that time you will not ask me anything; in truth I tell you, if you ask the Father for anything, he will grant it to you in my name.
২৩তস্মিন্ দিৱসে কামপি কথাং মাং ন প্রক্ষ্যথ| যুষ্মানহম্ অতিযথার্থং ৱদামি, মম নাম্না যৎ কিঞ্চিদ্ পিতরং যাচিষ্যধ্ৱে তদেৱ স দাস্যতি|
24 So far you have not asked for anything, in my name; ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
২৪পূর্ৱ্ৱে মম নাম্না কিমপি নাযাচধ্ৱং, যাচধ্ৱং ততঃ প্রাপ্স্যথ তস্মাদ্ যুষ্মাকং সম্পূর্ণানন্দো জনিষ্যতে|
25 I have spoken to you of all this in figures; a time is coming, however, when I will not speak any longer to you in figures, but will tell you about the Father plainly.
২৫উপমাকথাভিঃ সর্ৱ্ৱাণ্যেতানি যুষ্মান্ জ্ঞাপিতৱান্ কিন্তু যস্মিন্ সমযে উপমযা নোক্ত্ৱা পিতুঃ কথাং স্পষ্টং জ্ঞাপযিষ্যামি সময এতাদৃশ আগচ্ছতি|
26 You will ask, at that time, in my name; and I do not say that I will intercede with the Father for you;
২৬তদা মম নাম্না প্রার্থযিষ্যধ্ৱে ঽহং যুষ্মন্নিমিত্তং পিতরং ৱিনেষ্যে কথামিমাং ন ৱদামি;
27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from the Father.
২৭যতো যূযং মযি প্রেম কুরুথ, তথাহম্ ঈশ্ৱরস্য সমীপাদ্ আগতৱান্ ইত্যপি প্রতীথ, তস্মাদ্ কারণাৎ কারণাৎ পিতা স্ৱযং যুষ্মাসু প্রীযতে|
28 I came out from the Father, and have come into the world; and now I am to leave the world, and go to the Father.’
২৮পিতুঃ সমীপাজ্জজদ্ আগতোস্মি জগৎ পরিত্যজ্য চ পুনরপি পিতুঃ সমীপং গচ্ছামি|
29 ‘At last,’ exclaimed the disciples, ‘you are using plain words and not speaking in figures at all.
২৯তদা শিষ্যা অৱদন্, হে প্রভো ভৱান্ উপমযা নোক্ত্ৱাধুনা স্পষ্টং ৱদতি|
30 Now we are sure that you know everything, and need not wait for anyone to question you. This makes us believe that you did come from God.’
৩০ভৱান্ সর্ৱ্ৱজ্ঞঃ কেনচিৎ পৃষ্টো ভৱিতুমপি ভৱতঃ প্রযোজনং নাস্তীত্যধুনাস্মাকং স্থিরজ্ঞানং জাতং তস্মাদ্ ভৱান্ ঈশ্ৱরস্য সমীপাদ্ আগতৱান্ ইত্যত্র ৱযং ৱিশ্ৱসিমঃ|
31 ‘Do you believe that already?’ Jesus answered.
৩১ততো যীশুঃ প্রত্যৱাদীদ্ ইদানীং কিং যূযং ৱিশ্ৱসিথ?
32 ‘Listen! A time is coming – indeed it has already come – when you are to be scattered, each going his own way, and to leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
৩২পশ্যত সর্ৱ্ৱে যূযং ৱিকীর্ণাঃ সন্তো মাম্ একাকিনং পীরত্যজ্য স্ৱং স্ৱং স্থানং গমিষ্যথ, এতাদৃশঃ সময আগচ্ছতি ৱরং প্রাযেণোপস্থিতৱান্; তথাপ্যহং নৈকাকী ভৱামি যতঃ পিতা মযা সার্দ্ধম্ আস্তে|
33 I have spoken to you in this way, so that in me you may find peace. In the world you will find trouble; yet, take courage! I have conquered the world.’
৩৩যথা মযা যুষ্মাকং শান্তি র্জাযতে তদর্থম্ এতাঃ কথা যুষ্মভ্যম্ অচকথং; অস্মিন্ জগতি যুষ্মাকং ক্লেশো ঘটিষ্যতে কিন্ত্ৱক্ষোভা ভৱত যতো মযা জগজ্জিতং|
