John 14
1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
১মনোদুঃখিনো মা ভূত; ঈশ্ৱরে ৱিশ্ৱসিত মযি চ ৱিশ্ৱসিত|
2 In my Father’s home there are many dwellings. If it had not been so, I should have told you, for I am going to prepare a place for you.
২মম পিতু গৃহে বহূনি ৱাসস্থানি সন্তি নো চেৎ পূর্ৱ্ৱং যুষ্মান্ অজ্ঞাপযিষ্যং যুষ্মদর্থং স্থানং সজ্জযিতুং গচ্ছামি|
3 And, since I go and prepare a place for you, I will return and take you to be with me, so that you may be where I am;
৩যদি গৎৱাহং যুষ্মন্নিমিত্তং স্থানং সজ্জযামি তর্হি পনরাগত্য যুষ্মান্ স্ৱসমীপং নেষ্যামি, ততো যত্রাহং তিষ্ঠামি তত্র যূযমপি স্থাস্যথ|
4 and you know the way to the place where I am going.’
৪অহং যৎস্থানং ব্রজামি তৎস্থানং যূযং জানীথ তস্য পন্থানমপি জানীথ|
5 ‘We do not know where you are going, Master,’ said Thomas. ‘So how can we know the way?’
৫তদা থোমা অৱদৎ, হে প্রভো ভৱান্ কুত্র যাতি তদ্ৱযং ন জানীমঃ, তর্হি কথং পন্থানং জ্ঞাতুং শক্নুমঃ?
6 Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one ever comes to the Father except through me.
৬যীশুরকথযদ্ অহমেৱ সত্যজীৱনরূপপথো মযা ন গন্তা কোপি পিতুঃ সমীপং গন্তুং ন শক্নোতি|
7 If you had recognised me, you would have known my Father also; for the future you will recognise him, indeed you have already seen him.’
৭যদি মাম্ অজ্ঞাস্যত তর্হি মম পিতরমপ্যজ্ঞাস্যত কিন্ত্ৱধুনাতস্তং জানীথ পশ্যথ চ|
8 ‘Master, show us the Father,’ said Philip, ‘and we will be satisfied.’
৮তদা ফিলিপঃ কথিতৱান্, হে প্রভো পিতরং দর্শয তস্মাদস্মাকং যথেষ্টং ভৱিষ্যতি|
9 ‘Have I been all this time among you,’ said Jesus, ‘and yet you, Philip, have not recognised me? The person who has seen me has seen the Father, how can you say, then, “Show us the Father”?
৯ততো যীশুঃ প্রত্যাৱাদীৎ, হে ফিলিপ যুষ্মাভিঃ সার্দ্ধম্ এতাৱদ্দিনানি স্থিতমপি মাং কিং ন প্রত্যভিজানাসি? যো জনো মাম্ অপশ্যৎ স পিতরমপ্যপশ্যৎ তর্হি পিতরম্ অস্মান্ দর্শযেতি কথাং কথং কথযসি?
10 Don’t you believe that I am in union with the Father, and the Father with me? In giving you my teaching I am not speaking on my own authority; but the Father himself, always in union with me, does his own work.
১০অহং পিতরি তিষ্ঠামি পিতা মযি তিষ্ঠতীতি কিং ৎৱং ন প্রত্যষি? অহং যদ্ৱাক্যং ৱদামি তৎ স্ৱতো ন ৱদামি কিন্তু যঃ পিতা মযি ৱিরাজতে স এৱ সর্ৱ্ৱকর্ম্মাণি করাতি|
11 Believe me,’ he said to them all, ‘when I say that I am in union with the Father and the Father with me, or else believe me because of the work itself.
১১অতএৱ পিতর্য্যহং তিষ্ঠামি পিতা চ মযি তিষ্ঠতি মমাস্যাং কথাযাং প্রত্যযং কুরুত, নো চেৎ কর্ম্মহেতোঃ প্রত্যযং কুরুত|
12 In truth I tell you, the person who believes in me will themselves do the work that I am doing; and they will do greater work still, because I am going to the Father.
১২অহং যুষ্মানতিযথার্থং ৱদামি, যো জনো মযি ৱিশ্ৱসিতি সোহমিৱ কর্ম্মাণি করিষ্যতি ৱরং ততোপি মহাকর্ম্মাণি করিষ্যতি যতো হেতোরহং পিতুঃ সমীপং গচ্ছামি|
13 Whatever you ask, in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be honoured in the Son.
১৩যথা পুত্রেণ পিতু র্মহিমা প্রকাশতে তদর্থং মম নাম প্রোচ্য যৎ প্রার্থযিষ্যধ্ৱে তৎ সফলং করিষ্যামি|
14 If you ask anything, in my name, I will do it.
১৪যদি মম নাম্না যৎ কিঞ্চিদ্ যাচধ্ৱে তর্হি তদহং সাধযিষ্যামি|
15 If you love me, you will lay my commands to heart,
১৫যদি মযি প্রীযধ্ৱে তর্হি মমাজ্ঞাঃ সমাচরত|
16 and I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper, to be with you always – the Spirit of truth. (aiōn g165)
১৬ততো মযা পিতুঃ সমীপে প্রার্থিতে পিতা নিরন্তরং যুষ্মাভিঃ সার্দ্ধং স্থাতুম্ ইতরমেকং সহাযম্ অর্থাৎ সত্যমযম্ আত্মানং যুষ্মাকং নিকটং প্রেষযিষ্যতি| (aiōn g165)
17 The world cannot receive this Spirit, because it does not see him or recognise him, but you recognise him, because he is always with you, and is within you.
১৭এতজ্জগতো লোকাস্তং গ্রহীতুং ন শক্নুৱন্তি যতস্তে তং নাপশ্যন্ নাজনংশ্চ কিন্তু যূযং জানীথ যতো হেতোঃ স যুষ্মাকমন্ত র্নিৱসতি যুষ্মাকং মধ্যে স্থাস্যতি চ|
18 I will not leave you bereaved; I will come to you.
১৮অহং যুষ্মান্ অনাথান্ কৃৎৱা ন যাস্যামি পুনরপি যুষ্মাকং সমীপম্ আগমিষ্যামি|
19 In a little while the world will see me no more, but you will still see me; because I am living, you will be living also.
১৯কিযৎকালরৎ পরম্ অস্য জগতো লোকা মাং পুন র্ন দ্রক্ষ্যন্তি কিন্তু যূযং দ্রক্ষ্যথ; অহং জীৱিষ্যামি তস্মাৎ কারণাদ্ যূযমপি জীৱিষ্যথ|
20 At that time you will recognise that I am in union with the Father, and you with me, and I with you.
২০পিতর্য্যহমস্মি মযি চ যূযং স্থ, তথাহং যুষ্মাস্ৱস্মি তদপি তদা জ্ঞাস্যথ|
21 It is they who have my commands and lays them to heart who loves me; and the person who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them, and will reveal myself to them.’
২১যো জনো মমাজ্ঞা গৃহীৎৱা তা আচরতি সএৱ মযি প্রীযতে; যো জনশ্চ মযি প্রীযতে সএৱ মম পিতুঃ প্রিযপাত্রং ভৱিষ্যতি, তথাহমপি তস্মিন্ প্রীৎৱা তস্মৈ স্ৱং প্রকাশযিষ্যামি|
22 ‘What has happened, Master,’ said Judas (not Judas Iscariot), ‘that you are going to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?’
২২তদা ঈষ্করিযোতীযাদ্ অন্যো যিহূদাস্তমৱদৎ, হে প্রভো ভৱান্ জগতো লোকানাং সন্নিধৌ প্রকাশিতো ন ভূৎৱাস্মাকং সন্নিধৌ কুতঃ প্রকাশিতো ভৱিষ্যতি?
23 ‘Whoever loves me,’ Jesus answered, ‘will lay my message to heart; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
২৩ততো যীশুঃ প্রত্যুদিতৱান্, যো জনো মযি প্রীযতে স মমাজ্ঞা অপি গৃহ্লাতি, তেন মম পিতাপি তস্মিন্ প্রেষ্যতে, আৱাঞ্চ তন্নিকটমাগত্য তেন সহ নিৱৎস্যাৱঃ|
24 The person who does not love me will not lay my message to heart; and the message to which you are listening is not my own, but comes from the Father who sent me.
২৪যো জনো মযি ন প্রীযতে স মম কথা অপি ন গৃহ্লাতি পুনশ্চ যামিমাং কথাং যূযং শৃণুথ সা কথা কেৱলস্য মম ন কিন্তু মম প্রেরকো যঃ পিতা তস্যাপি কথা|
25 I have told you all this while still with you,
২৫ইদানীং যুষ্মাকং নিকটে ৱিদ্যমানোহম্ এতাঃ সকলাঃ কথাঃ কথযামি|
26 but the helper – the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name – will teach you all things, and will recall to your minds all that I have said to you.
২৬কিন্ত্ৱিতঃ পরং পিত্রা যঃ সহাযোঽর্থাৎ পৱিত্র আত্মা মম নাম্নি প্রেরযিষ্যতি স সর্ৱ্ৱং শিক্ষযিৎৱা মযোক্তাঃ সমস্তাঃ কথা যুষ্মান্ স্মারযিষ্যতি|
27 Peace be with you! My own peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, or dismayed.
২৭অহং যুষ্মাকং নিকটে শান্তিং স্থাপযিৎৱা যামি, নিজাং শান্তিং যুষ্মভ্যং দদামি, জগতো লোকা যথা দদাতি তথাহং ন দদামি; যুষ্মাকম্ অন্তঃকরণানি দুঃখিতানি ভীতানি চ ন ভৱন্তু|
28 You heard me say that I was going away and would return to you. Had you loved me, you would have been glad that I was going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.
২৮অহং গৎৱা পুনরপি যুষ্মাকং সমীপম্ আগমিষ্যামি মযোক্তং ৱাক্যমিদং যূযম্ অশ্রৌষ্ট; যদি ময্যপ্রেষ্যধ্ৱং তর্হ্যহং পিতুঃ সমীপং গচ্ছামি মমাস্যাং কথাযাং যূযম্ অহ্লাদিষ্যধ্ৱং যতো মম পিতা মত্তোপি মহান্|
29 And this I have told you now before it happens, so that, when it does happen, you may still believe in me.
২৯তস্যা ঘটনাযাঃ সমযে যথা যুষ্মাকং শ্রদ্ধা জাযতে তদর্থম্ অহং তস্যা ঘটনাযাঃ পূর্ৱ্ৱম্ ইদানীং যুষ্মান্ এতাং ৱার্ত্তাং ৱদামি|
30 I will not talk with you much more, for the Spirit that is ruling the world is coming. He has nothing in common with me;
৩০ইতঃ পরং যুষ্মাভিঃ সহ মম বহৱ আলাপা ন ভৱিষ্যন্তি যতঃ কারণাদ্ এতস্য জগতঃ পতিরাগচ্ছতি কিন্তু মযা সহ তস্য কোপি সম্বন্ধো নাস্তি|
31 but he is coming so that the world may see that I love the Father, and that I do as the Father commanded me. Come, let us be going.
৩১অহং পিতরি প্রেম করোমি তথা পিতু র্ৱিধিৱৎ কর্ম্মাণি করোমীতি যেন জগতো লোকা জানন্তি তদর্থম্ উত্তিষ্ঠত ৱযং স্থানাদস্মাদ্ গচ্ছাম|
